Chapter 159: Angry (1)
"Give it back to you? Don’t you realize the situation you are in? You should be thankful that we haven’t hurt you. Sit back down and wait like your friend," one of the men shoved Aurora back towards Cherry.
Aurora grinned knowing she would have some fun with the two of them soon enough. "We all know that you can’t hurt me. If there’s a chance that Vincent might find me, you want me to be untouched. That’s why I can hear the rest of you on the outside rushing around to get us out of the community while Vincent is distracted but you’ve already made a grave mistake when you hurt her," she pointed at Cherry’s broken arm which was slowly healing.
"I said sit down you fucking bitch. I see no good reason why our alpha chose to entertain himself with someone like you. Just good to look at," the second man insulted Aurora. "Get back before you get hurt. I am not afraid to hurt an outsider even if you belong to Vincent."
"Come back Aurora," Cherry said as she was unaware Aurora could protect herself. These men might outnumber them double, triple, or more.
"At least your friend has some common sense."
"If you won’t tell me where the necklace is, just die," Aurora stated before making blades with black fire appear out of thin air. "Do you like them?" She asked, seeing the man’s surprised expression upon seeing her blades. "When I first came here a long time ago, I created them to protect me from werewolves like you. Each cut inflicted by my blades will take a long time to heal as I have added something to them."
"This is just like they said she attacked Marge. The customer wanted her alive so just knock her out!"
"Even after what I just said the two of you haven’t thought about being more careful. This is a waste of time," Aurora faked a yawn and then took a step forward. Her blades moved ahead of her spinning because they sensed danger.
The two men growled revealing their enlarged teeth and sharp claws in an attempt to scare Aurora. When she didn’t stop walking toward them, they charged at her with the intent to knock her out but her blades had been faster piercing the men who would cause her harm.
Stunned by the pain caused by the blades, the two men cried out in pain and attempted to pull the blades out but the black fire was too hot causing their hands to be scorched.
"Stop crying. I missed all the important parts of your body. With the amount of blood the two of you are losing, your companions will be in here soon," she muttered looking at the door the two of them had barged in from. "I’ll ask you two quick questions. Who sent you to take us and where is the necklace?"
"Screw you," the man on the right spat blood out of Aurora which fortunately landed on her dress. No one informed him of this kind of trick to her with the blades. He wasn’t aware of what happened to Marge like his partner was trying to tell him earlier.
"And I was being nice. We have to go now Cherry," Aurora turned away from the men to go towards Cherry who had been silently watching what Aurora did.
"How were you able to do that?"
"Unfortunately, now is not the time for me to explain. We have to get out of here before more of them show up. I don’t plan to be back on trial for killing anyone. Is your arm good?" Aurora asked as she checked the bruise on Cherry’s arm. The arm was in a weird position since it had been broken in the fight but Cherry was holding it to heal the bone correctly. "You have to get up. Let me help you."
Cherry accepted Aurora’s help knowing they had to get out of here quickly.
Aurora used her abilities to slam the door shut and lock it just as the other kidnappers reached it. She planned to fight and get the necklace back but first, she wanted to get Cherry somewhere safe. Aurora had a feeling it was only her these people wanted and Cherry got tied into it because she was protecting Aurora.
"How are we going to get out-"
"We’re not going to allow you to get out of here so easily. There’s a big price for your head. Nice trick before but you won’t be getting us a second time," one of the men said as he stood back up. He was still in pain from the blades but he would be dead if he watched them escape. "Get up you fool and open the door for the others," he smacked his companion in the back of his head.
"I’m in too much pain. They better double the money for this."
Aurora helped Cherry to her feet before turning to face the men again. "The two of you have bore me already. I hope you don’t mind if I wreck you home a little."
The ground started to tremble after Aurora’s words and the walls soon after vibrated from whatever she was doing. The men looked around for what she was doing this time with her blades but were surprised when a tree broke through the roof of the house in the midst of Aurora, Cherry, and the two men. The tree blocked the men from being able to see Cherry and Aurora on the other side.
"Go up first, Cherry. The branches will help you up. I’ll stop anyone who tries to follow," Aurora said. The tree should have caused enough commotion for anyone to know something was going on here. As long as Cherry got out to allow her hand to heal Aurora would stay to figure out who sent these men and find the necklace.
"Thank you," Cherry told Aurora. She had been worried her arms wouldn’t have healed in time for her to help protect Aurora. She was certain Victor couldn’t be too far after getting rid of people she had seen him fighting when she was being taken away and when Vincent knew what happened it wouldn’t be too long till he tracked them down. "Come up right away Aurora."
"I will," Aurora lied, helping Cherry get up to the broken area where the tree broke in. She could hear the two men rushing to break the tree branches to get to the both of them. When Cherry had successfully reached the top where she could get off the roof and run away. "Get to safety and I will be out soon."
"Please don’t tell me that you’re going to look for the necklace. Vincent will understand why it’s gone. I’m certain he’ll be here soon to rescue us. Come up," Cherry held her hand down for Aurora to grab on to climb up. They had an opening to get out of here and then have someone search for the necklace when Vincent came.
"I am capable enough of protecting myself. Go now," Aurora told her for the last time then proceeded to move away from that spot before the two men could catch her. Why wait on Vincent or Victor to arrive when she could take down these men herself? She didn’t enjoy being the damsel in distress type. "The two of you are annoying," she groaned, rolling her eyes at the two men who made their way into the large tree to try to catch her.
Her eyes met with one of them and when he realized she wasn’t in the tree, he used a great amount of his strength to start breaking branches to get to her. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
"Why didn’t my blades paralyze the two of you? Are my skills not back to their full potential yet?" She muttered seeing that her blades were still in the kidnapper’s skins but not affecting them anymore. In the past, the two of them would still be on the floor begging for the pain to end. "Why don’t the two of you just give up and run for your lives before you are exposed? That man has a short temper when it comes to me. One of the things I loved about him."
’"Forget taking her alive. I am going to kill her with my bare hands for all this crap she is putting us through. Get back the other one and I’ll get her," one of the men growled, breaking free out of the tree to get Aurora. This was supposed to be a smooth plane where they had to transport her to somewhere outside of the community shortly.
He didn’t sign up for her to attack him with blades surrounded by fire and to have this house he had borrowed to be damaged. He’ll have to pay for the damage caused by the tree whose owner would have his head. A lot of people in the community wanted her dead so he would be doing them a favor. Vincent needed to see that you should stick with your own kind instead of wasting time with outsiders.
