Chapter 47: Chapter 47
Cecil wore a look of utmost disdain as he pretended not to watch Alois effortlessly hit another bullseye. "Why do I have to be here?" He grumbled, eyeing up the crowd that had gathered round Alois.
Alois handed his bow to a smiling Alpha and slung an arm around the shorter sour-faced Alpha. "For me to keep an eye on you."
"Even after I agreed to remain in the dorm room?" Cecil shot him a look, roughly shoving Alois away.
"I’m merely doing my duty." Was his response.
Cecil was forced into silence by this, he didn’t have to listen to Alois, he had already paid his dues for his crimes, anything more was harassment. So he did what he should have done ever since Alois dragged him to the archery club, he turned around and left.
He walked at a leisurely pace, not too fast, not too slow, fully expecting Alois to immediately try to stop him. He stumbled slightly when he got to the door and slowed down, a little unsure of what to do next because he hadn’t expected to get this far.
Cecil didn’t turn around, lifting his nose up in the air before stomping right out. He felt a little foolish at the realization that he could have just declined Alois this entire time instead of going along with all his whims.
The more he thought about it, the more irritated he became that by the time he got to their shared dorm room, he was thoroughly infuriated. He stomped inside the room and looked around judgmentally, there had to be a way to get back at Alois.
He slowly looked around the room until his gaze settled on Alois’ bathroom, a bulb lighting up behind his dark brown eyes. He knew just how to pull off a harmless prank on the annoying grass-haired Alpha and this time he wouldn’t let himself be fooled by him.

"Why wouldn’t Seton tell us what happened to him?" A harsh-faced Alpha grumbled.
"Seton doesn’t have to tell you anything." Another quipped coolly, his hands in his pockets as he walked in the middle..
"You say it like Seton told you." Harsh-faced Alpha snarked at him, his bushy eyebrows drawn tight.
They were a group of four Alphas, who were self-acclaimed, Seton followers. It wasn’t a surprise that they were all members of the Horse-riding club, Seton had shut down their questions when they found him at the infirmary and he had gotten irritated by their presence and sent them off so they were currently wandering around, up to no good.
They were walking through the hallways of the first floor on the year one dorms, trouble brewing in their eyes.
Most of the students that they came across blatantly ignored them, uninterested in getting involved in whatever trouble they had in hand.
It was in this manner that they got to the second floor, the two constantly arguing the entire way there. The Alpha with the harsh features was referred to as Hunt, he seemed to be taking the brunt of the argument because Terrell, the other Alpha remained unruffled the entire time. frёewebηovel.cѳm
It didn’t help that Hunt had a fragile ego and liked to see himself as Seton’s right-hand man, although he knew deep down that Terrell filled that position, not him.
The other two were a forgettable bunch, the epitome of servitude and clearly took Terrell’s side.
So Hunt was already strung up tight, ready to snap at any moment when they bumped into Dio on the third floor hallways.
Dio had been on his way to his dorm room, his hair let down as he trudged silently.
"You." Hunt half-growled, walking right up to him. "I remember you."
Recognition sparked in Terrell’s eyes but instead of reacting like Hunt did, he was more wary because he remembered that the strange year one student had taken them all on, alone. It was also wise to avoid a person that didn’t so much as blink when they were cold-cocked on their jaw.
Hunt however was already jumping the junior. "Where’s your mouthy friend, huh?"
"Hunt." Terrel said cautiously.
Dio had been flat out ignoring Hunt but the moment Louis was mentioned, he lifted his eyes and shot him a bone-chilling glare.
Hunt had to slow down a bit, anger quickly replacing his hesitation. Humiliation burned on the tails of his anger, an unhealthy combination. freewebnσvel.cøm
"Why do you got that look in your eyes?" He asked darkly, shoving, Dio backwards. "Maybe I should deal with you and then go show him what happens when he tries to mouth off on our business."
*am i doing this right? i have no clue how fantasy, historical teenagers talk trash, so pardon me*
Terrell stopped trying to caution Hunt, signaling the other two to get ready to jump the younger Alpha. Last time they had just been trying to push him around but now they intended to treat this like a serious fight.
Dio knew on instinct that a fight was about to break out, and as enraged as he was at the thought of them threatening Louis, he really didn’t want to get into another fight or he would have already made a move.
He had caused Louis trouble when he was injured last time, he didn’t want a repeat of that. The longer it went on though, the lower his chances of leaving unscathed lowered, it made Dio frown deeply. He pushed his hair back with a hand, needing to see clearly.
Hunt immediately recoiled when he saw Dio’s eyes, expressive disgust on his face. "What kind of freak are you?" He demanded, readying his fist to land a punch like Dio deserved it simply for looking a bit different.
Dio caught his wrist and returned the favor, Terrell and the other two joining the fray immediately.
It was at this point that Henri rounded the corner, he had given up on club activities after running into Seton. He had intended to pay Errol a visit, he was not only worried about the older Alpha, he also felt a bit responsible about letting him know what his boyfriend was up to.
That was quickly pushed out of his head when he saw Dio in the middle of an unfair brawl - that would explain the bruises.
