Chapter 26: Chapter 26
According to the brochure handed to them, the cooking club was located on the second floor. Louis occasionally glanced at the schedule in his hand as he navigated the way.
"Isn’t there any other club you want to be in?" He absently asked Dio who was walking right beside him.
"Lou." He said shortly, looking away to signal the end of the conversation.
Louis sighed, he had been too hopeful when he saw Dio starting to leave his shell, of course, he would want to be in the same club as him.
"Here we are." Louis murmured under his breath, stopping in front of a door that had ’Cooking Club’ written on it in bright colors. He knocked gingerly, unsure of what to expect from the club.
A bright-eyed alpha with startling orange-red hair and freckles opened the door. "Who is i... oh! I know you, you’re always in the Prince’s..." freёwebnovel.com
"I’d like to join the cooking club." Louis interrupted him with a strained smile.
A tall slender senior wearing an apron hurried over anxiously. "I’ve told you to stop answering the door in that manner, Cedric." He scolded. "Go stand beside Florent."
Cedric immediately hurried over to another senior who had a look of horror on his face when he saw Cedric approaching.
"I’m deeply sorry about that." The senior smiled nervously. "I overheard you saying you wanted to join the club. Welcome to the cooking club, I’m the president, Lyon."
"It’s not trouble, I’m Louis and this is my friend Dio, thank you for having us..."

Finding the swimming club was easy, considering that it contained an enormous indoor pool, it was no surprise.
There was already a line of people applying to be a part of the club but it was evident that a majority of them wanted to get on the swimming team as well. The swimming team was impressive and had won lots of national and international competitions so it was a bit of a big deal.
There would be a competition after the application to determine those who would be considered eligible to be a part of the club. Everyone was free to join in on the competition, although it was very rare for year-one students to be accepted into the team from the opening competitions. frёeωebɳovel.com
"You look pretty fit, are you going to try for the team?" The Alpha taking Nael’s application asked, pushing a numbered tag in his direction.
Nael glanced down at the tag offered to him; his demeanor was much different when he was apart from his friends, it was rather cold. "Sure." He accepted, picking up the tag and walking off to where the competitions would be held.
The seats around the pool were filled with students, including those that had already tried in the competitions and those who weren’t even members of the swimming club.
Nael’s tag read 012 and he calmly followed a member of the swimming team who directed them to the locker room for them to change into swimming trunks.
Nael walked out of the locker rooms a few minutes later, adjusting his swim cap with his goggles hung loosely around his neck. There were about seven other Alphas beside him also dressed to compete.
Nael stood calmly on the block, waiting for the whistle that would signal the start of the race. The other competitors bounced around and stretched to show off while the audience cheered and made bets on who would win.
As he lifted his goggles to place them over his eyes, he felt slender arms wrap around his middle, giggles coming from the person pressed against his back.
"Deputy captain, please stop assaulting the new members!" Someone called out and soon the Alpha attached to his back was dragged away, not without him protesting though.
Nael didn’t even turn around to look at the ruckus, getting in position with the others to wait for the whistle. He took a deep breath and fixed his gaze on the gentling rippling water, his muscles tense.
The whistle went off and the swimmers shot into the water, the hall quietened down as the audience paid attention to the race and after a few seconds they started cheering again, this time louder than before and it was because right from the start, Nael had put a lot of distance between himself and the rest of the swimmers.
The cheers got louder when he rose out of the water, the rest of the competitors all forgotten.
Nael took off his goggles and wiped the water from his eyes only to see two familiar faces staring back at him. "What are you two..."
"Why didn’t we know you could swim this well?" Audie confronted, his dark eyes shooting lasers.
Valentin was just happy to be there, "We had to come to see if you would join the competition."
Nael effortlessly climbed out of the pool and pulled off his swim cap, amusement in his hazel-gold eyes. "What happened to your tryouts for the volleyball club?"
"We were accepted right away so we came here..." Valentin responded.
"Don’t change topics!" Audie interrupted, still peeved. "Or did you know he could swim, Vale?"
Valentin shrugged. "I didn’t even know he was interested in swimming."
"25.44." A tall Alpha approached them. "That’s our second best time."
Audie straightened up and puffed out his chest like he was the one being complimented. "That was just Nael warming up, just you watch, he’ll beat the best in no time." He boasted, throwing an arm around Nael’s shoulder although the other had a few inches on him.
"Oh? You think you can beat me?" Another Alpha popped out of nowhere.
An exhausted-looking Alpha wearing glasses was right on his tail. "Deputy captain, please..."
"Kais." The tall Alpha muttered, equally exhausted.
The Alpha in question was slender and much shorter than everyone around him, he left his light brown hair long, his eyes bright and fevered. "Let’s race!" He announced, attaching himself to Nael again.
"I apologize for his behavior." The tall Alpha pulled him off Nael with a hand, the other hand holding a clipboard. "I’m the team Captain, Trent and you’re welcome to the team if you want to join. I understand that some would just like to be a part of the club, I’ll be waiting on your decision." Trent concluded, walking off with a struggling Kais still in his hold.
