Chapter 112: Chapter 112

Louis was making his way down the hallways of the third floor of the Year One dorms when it started to rain. He had just come from Lyon’s dorm room where he went to get a cookbook from the senior.

The sudden rain made him jump and tense up, only to sigh and relax when he realized that he was being so anxious for no reason. It was something that had slowly worsened ever since the incident at the ball.

Louis kept feeling like he was going to get jumped in every quiet hallway corner by Tristan. He had turned down requests to tutor students that only came to him when tests were around the corner but it did nothing to ease his worries.

Maybe he should have told somebody about it after all, what made it worse was that he hadn’t seen the creepy Alpha ever since their run-in at the ball, like he was deliberately staying out of sight.

"Louis-" A voice called his name, a hand getting placed on his shoulder.

This unexpected interaction made Louis flinch violently, a sound of dismay leaving him.

Cedric immediately pulled back his hand with concern, "Louis? Are you alright?" He looked the Alpha over, worrying that he had hurt him in some way.

Louis sighed so deeply that his shoulders bowed, "Yes, yes, sorry about that."

Cedric still had a questioning look in his eyes, "Uh, sure? I just wanted to say hi..." He said, already retreating.

Louis didn’t try to stop him, he was too distracted and jumpy to hold a conversation with someone else. He smiled nervously and waved the other Alpha off, hurrying to his dorm room.

He was certain that Dio was inside, he would just tell Dio. Maybe telling someone else would ease his worries and stop him from almost getting panic attacks anytime someone approached him.

He pushed open the door with conviction, bracing himself for the conversation he was about to have. It wouldn’t be that difficult, it was just Dio.

Dio sat up when he stepped in, his friend was lying down shirtless on their joined bed, his wrists bound by black silk ties. He had left his long tousled hair loose, the long locks of hair framing his face.

Louis opened his mouth to say something about what was bothering him but something entirely different spilled past his lips. "Put on a shirt Dio, you’ll catch a cold."

"It’s warm on the bed," Dio said, getting up to put on some clothes even though he protested.

Louis slowly undressed to get into more comfortable clothes, his heartbeat thumping in his skull. ’All he had to do was just say it, why was it so hard to just say it?’

"Dio? Can I talk to you?" He finally forced out, a troubled expression on his face.

Dio instantly gave him his full attention, climbing on the bed with a shirt on this time, albeit unbuttoned. "Sure."

Louis sighed for the umpteenth time and gave up on undressing, he had to say it now or he would lose his courage. "You remember the time at the Sports Ball when you were looking for me?"

Dio listened patiently without interrupting him, an open expression on his face.

This made it easier for Louis to go on, he realized that he had been acting silly the whole time when he could have just said it. "Well, I lied about the Alpha that you asked about, he was actually..." freёwebnovel.com

"I know," Dio said quietly. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

His voice was so nonintrusive that it took a few seconds for the meaning of his words to sink in. "Y-You know?" Louis spluttered, "What do you mean by that?" He looked at Dio with disbelief.

Dio shrugged like it wasn’t a big deal, "I went looking for the Alpha after the ball, I wanted to ask him some questions."

Louis deflated, "Oh," It would make sense that Dio would be curious, Louis had done a terrible job of lying after all.

"Then I broke his arm." Dio went right on.

Louis gawked at his roommate, "You what?"

They got to their dorm room gasping and shivering, dripping wet from the rain. Valentin didn’t even grace his roommate with a single word, glaring at Audie before storming off to his bathroom.

Audie trailed right after him, taking off his shirt as he did. "You’re not still mad at me, are you Vale?"

"Don’t follow me," Valentin grumbled, storming into his bathroom. He didn’t expect Audie to come in with him.

"Even though I apologized?" He didn’t give up, truly worried that he had actually pushed past the limit this time.

Valentin had his hands on the top buttons of his soaked silk shirt but he made no move to undo the buttons. "I don’t remember you apologizing."

Valentin was still upset but it was more at the fact that he couldn’t be upset with Audie and although he was scared of the dark and creepy crawly animals, if Audie asked him to go on another late-night adventure, he would agree in a heartbeat.

"Fine, I’m not mad anymore." He quickly corrected himself when Audie stepped forward, looking like he wanted to apologize again.

Audie’s dark eyes widened, he looked genuinely surprised by this; the Valentin he knew would drag it out until he was groveling on his knees. "Really?"

Honestly, Valentin wasn’t sure anymore, he just wanted Audie out of his bathroom so he could take a steaming hot bath. His roommate just standing there shirtless with stray drops of water rolling down his tan skin was too distracting for his cold and fear-addled mind.

"Sure," He accepted in a dry voice, "Now leave, I want to take a bath..."

Audie just walked past him, going for the buckle of his belt. "Let’s take one together."

Valentin was too stunned to speak for a few precious seconds. "No, we’re not doing that." He recovered enough to say. "Leave my bathroom or you’re sleeping outside Audie."

Audie halted his journey to the bathtub, not doubting Valentin to keep to his words and lock him out of their shared dorm room. "Aw, you’re no fun."

Valentin closed the door a little too hard after he left, leaning against the door to calm his racing heart.
