She stopped him immediately, "Why did my uncle take me here? To threaten Stuart?"

"Maybe," William’s answer was ambiguous, "No matter what the reason was, as Stuart’s friend, I couldn’t watch you being trapped in extreme danger. Therefore, I took you here. Though Edie believed most of the words William said, she didn’t think that her uncle really wanted to hurt her.

If it was to kidnap, why did he call Stuart? Why didn’t Stuart tell her anything? Why did he tell her to stay with her uncle?

Besides, her uncle didn’t restrict her into someplace. She could go wherever she wanted to go. She was not imprisoned.

If her uncle really wanted to use her to threaten Stuart, why did he leave immediately after he took her here? Why did he ask his son to stay with her? He didn’t even need to take her here in person. If what William told her was the truth, then she was nothing more than a hostage. He didn’t need to take a hostage in person.

On the contrary, Edie thought William was imprisoning her now. William looked more like a bad guy compared with Noble.

"Except for my mom, he does not love anybody else. If I die here, would he be sad for me?"

Hearing Cecil’s words, Edie was also so depressed.

This fatty little boy had always been naughty in front of others. All he cared about was food. He was such a naughty cute foodie.

She never saw he became so sad.

At the moment, Edie suddenly realized that Cecil might cover his sorrow with a smile on his face.

"Happy now?"

The foodie Cecil came back now.
