When they returned back home, they saw the door was opened. Edie felt weird.

"What do you want? I would agree with anything you asked for. But don’t touch Cecil." Edie said in a cold voice.

"Guest has no right to bargain with the host. Take them."

His men walked to them and captured their shoulders, forcing them to get into the car.

They didn’t sit with William. Around them were fully armed guards. Guns on their hands were really frightening.

Cecil couldn’t accept this. He kept struggling.

"Let me go. Assholes, bastards, liars."

"Let me go, and my father would kill you all."

He beat the window hard and cried out. Tears kept pouring out of his eyes.

Edie’s heart was aching. She dragged him into her arms.

"Your brother and father would come to save us. We would be fine. Don’t worry. Don’t be scared. I would always be with you. All he said is nonsense. They are not true. Don’t worry, okay?"

Edie also didn’t want to believe such an amiable uncle is actually a brutal evil man.

He lived an idling life and loved his wife all these years, and even his wife passed away. How could he be evil?
