Chapter 273: Chapter 273: I Trust You

After Eddie finished telling Aaron how she felt, Aaron shut his eyes and rubbed his forehead. Suddenly he opened his eyes wide, then sat up straight as if something within him clicked.

From the bottom of her heart, Eddie still had hope for him. Though he was a rebellious teenager, maybe he wasn’t a monster like everyone thought. There was more to it, and somehow, Eddie knew.

Patting Aaron on the back, Eddie wanted to encourage him to let out all of his pain. She wished that one day Stuart and Aaron could get along again. But, out of her expectation, Aaron burst into laughter suddenly.

"You are a stupid woman. Don’t be so kind. It is not good when you let your guard down."

Eddie felt something was wrong. She wanted to push him away. But she was too weak to get rid of him. He pressed her tightly against the sand.

Aaron hugged her as if the one in his arms were his lover. If you ignored her struggle and his sparing no effort to force her, you would assume they were a couple falling crazy in love. He took a deep breath, enjoying the fragrance on her body.

Hearing the term "brother," Aaron stopped smiling and immediately got angry.

"Brother? Do you think I want this brother? Since I was born, I have always lived under the shadow of his achievements. No one saw what I got. He is not my brother. He will be my enemy forever."

Aaron got more excited, and he was shouting at Eddie. It was the first time Eddie saw his anger. His eyes were reddish. She was frightened to step back. She couldn’t even speak.

Then the expression on Aaron’s face changed again. He turned gentle, "What happened? Have I scared you again?"
