Chapter 270: Chapter 270: He Took Eddie Away

The virulent look on Aaron’s face was a warning to Eddie that he was going to say something unkind. He grinned and said, "So what if you don’t believe me? Are you expecting your husband to save you? Last night, I watched him leave you alone in the Castle, but not only that, he left you for another woman. Don’t be upset with me for telling you what you already know. So tell me, do you really think that Stuart cares about you?"

Eddie was so surprised to find out that Aaron had been watching her every movement at the Castle. Aaron seemed pleased by Eddie’s expression on her face. His eyes narrowed as he looked at her, and there was an unmistakable look of deception on his face.

"Why don’t you divorce him and come with me. I am much more understanding and supportive than Stuart is."

Eddie didn’t want to look at him and kept staring straight ahead, "You’re dreaming. I will never be with you. Even if I weren’t with Stuart, I would never be with you."

"Why? Do you believe that I would not treat you as appreciative as Stuart?"

"You are an evil and a mean person. You always make bad choices that hurt everyone around you. Stuart has my love, and you have nothing to offer me. Therefore you would never win. I despise you!"

"You’re absolutely right. I’m not a good person, but I want to change my ways. I have told you that, but you don’t seem to care."

Eddie thought he was an honorable man right from the beginning, but he was only deceiving her. Aaron had no morals at all. He didn’t care who he hurt or what had to do to get what he wanted. Eddie didn’t want to listen to him anymore, she bit down on her lip and turned her head away.

"I’m not interested in anyone, but you. Anna is a conniving bitch, and Hicks is clueless. I couldn’t care less about them. You are the one that I want, the one which Stuart loves. It’s you and will always be you."

Aaron said as he brought his face close to hers. Eddie was startled, and she stepped back. She stared into his eyes, not knowing what to do. She couldn’t move; she was pinned against the seat in the car.

"What do you think you are doing? Get away from me, I don’t want you this close to me," Eddie frowned and looked at Aaron suspiciously. He was so close, Eddie could feel his breath lingering on her body. She was appalled by Aaron’s arrogant attitude.

Aaron curved his lips into a smile and reached out to touch Eddie. There was no way she was going to let him feel her, and she tried to push his hand away. Aaron was too quick and reached for the seatbelt and fastened it.

Eddie felt a little relieved, knowing he wasn’t going to touch her. But suddenly, Aaron’s face came closer, even closer than before. It was only a few centimeters from her face, and as he spoke, she could feel his hot breath on her cheek.

The way she looked at him made Aaron laugh as if he were only trying to provoke her rage. He stepped on the gas and the car accelerated, "It’s such a beautiful day. I think we will take a drive to the seaside?"
