Chapter 264: Chapter 264: I Am Stuart’s Real Wife

Stuart’s cold, black eyes were staring dangerously, squinting at Aaron, "She is the spokesperson that I signed, and her first dance should be with me."

Aaron paid no attention to the way Stuart was looking at him, and he smiled, clapped his hands, and sauntered down the steps.

"You are so right. My Brother was the one who discovered her and signed her. The first dance should be done with you. I will always respect my Big Brother, and of course, I will let you have the first dance."

Aaron was walking towards Stuart as he said it, but at the end of the conversation, he suddenly turned around and stopped in front of Eddie and grabbed her by the hand.

"My Beautiful sister-in-law, why don’t you come and dance with me for the very first time?"

Eddie was so startled, and she tried to break free from Aaron’s grip. Suddenly Aaron slightly tilts towards Eddie and whispers something in her ear. Eddie did not move, and it was if she were frozen where she stood.

"Don’t you want to know about Stuart’s relationship with that woman? Don’t want to know why Hicks is in his heart? Who do you think is more important?"

"What do you mean, who is more important? I am Stuart’s real wife. Why are you comparing me to Hicks?"

Eddie didn’t want to listen to Aaron, but there was an overwhelming feeling in her heart and so many unanswered questions.

"I don’t understand why Stuart would let me go and dance with Hicks?"

"How is it possible that Hicks got the endorsement of Dior?"

"Did The Universe Entertainment buy Hicks’ contract?"

There was nothing she had not thought about, but now it appeared as if the invisible line was now seen. It all pointed to the same conclusion, and Eddie did not want to believe it. She asked herself over and over again, losing her temper little by little.

Right at the moment, Stuart left her, a cold feeling clutched at her heart. Eddie fixed her gaze on Stuart, and she could tell that Stuart was struggling hard with his feelings. With a frown, Eddie wondered why she had never noticed it before, and then Aaron ordered, "Eddie, come here."

Eddie had no reaction but stood with a stubborn and determined look on her face.

"I don’t understand why Stuart wants to help Hicks? I am right here, and yet Stuart doesn’t seem to be worried that I could be in danger?" All these unanswered questions are spiraling through her mind.

Aaron could see the eye contact between Stuart and Hicks, and he smiled more happily. He said to Stuart, "My Dear Brother, you have such a great beauty like Hicks. Don’t be so mean, just give me your wife. When you wanted Hicks, did I not give her to you?"

Every single word that Aaron spoke pierced Eddie’s heart like a dagger. Stuart finally realized that Aaron’s goal from the beginning was Eddie. Aaron initially chose Hicks only to get his attention.

Stuart was worried about the security of Hicks, so he came forward. After all, Hicks was too important to Stuart. But once he asked for Hicks, he lost the initiative as Aaron only wanted to dance with Eddie. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ

Aaron knew that with so many business celebrities watching that Stuart would not give up Hicks for Eddie. Stuart’s silence made Aaron more impatient, "All right, don’t look so stunned. Shall we start our dance?"

As the voice fell, the music sounded. Eddie was embarrassed as everyone was watching, and they stood there in silence. Aaron was not at all polite, and he recklessly held Eddie’s waist while Stuart and Hicks were separated from each other by some distance. There was hardly any physical contact.

Aaron was about to walk on to the dance floor with Eddie, but Stuart suddenly walked over to them. Stuart grabbed Eddie by the hand and pulled her to the side, "You wait for me here, and I’ll be right back," Stuart said.

This sentence took away Eddie’s last hope for him, "Wait for him while I watch him dance with another woman? Who does he think I am?"

Then Eddie pressed her lips firmly together and did not speak. Aaron’s face flamed with anger, "Brother, it’s not too late to change your mind. If I were you, I would grab my wife’s hand at once. This little actress, who is your wife, is not as important as the outsider? Is she?"

It was addressed to Stuart, but it was heard in Eddie’s heart. Yes, she was his wife, but he was in front of her and protecting an outsider. She raised her head and fixed her eyes on his face to see his reaction.

To her disappointment, however, Stuart pressed his lips together and looked at Eddie with confusion. This time she read embarrassment in his eyes, "It’s embarrassing to him!"

Stuart was keenly aware of the change in Eddie’s mood. He could see the hurt in her eyes, and his heart trembled. Making Eddie sad was the one thing he didn’t want to do.

But the rise of Hicks was not simple, as she was his fiancée, which meant that someone started the next game ten years ago. Perhaps it was time for the man to profit so he could not take it lightly.

Stuart squinted his eyes and tried to remain calm.

"I asked Ivan to take you home," Stuart’s voice was grimly determined. This time, Aaron popped up, and he got in between Eddie and Stuart.

"I’m sorry, Brother, but she’s my dancing partner now. Therefore she can’t do what you ask of her. This was your choice, my dear Brother."

Aaron pushed Stuart’s hand away and looked at Stuart and Hicks. With a subtle smile, he grabbed Eddie’s waist and took her to the dance floor, "Come on, Eddie. Let’s go."

Eddie had been staring at Stuart the whole time. She wanted him to come and take her away, "Does Stuart not realize what Aaron did to me last time? He is just watching me step into danger."

But, to her despair, there was Stuart. He was standing there motionless beside Hicks. He never moved. Eddie felt too much heartache and could hardly breathe.

She closed her eyes gently, and Aaron manipulated her arm and assumed a dance position. The first dance was a waltz. Aaron thought Eddie would be clumsy and step on his feet, but to his surprise, her dancing was unexpectedly smooth.

He could not help laughing, "You’ve learned it before?"

After all, Eddie came from the film academy, and basic dancing was a compulsory course, but she wasn’t in the mood to talk to Aaron.

"Why are you doing this?"

Eddie danced to Aaron’s movements, but her eyes were cold.
