Chapter 99: Lord of Lust and Sin [Part 4]

"You really did a number on her"

Cindy sighed as she assessed the state of Serenity who was passed out on Richard’s bed.

Richard on the other hand was already drinking coffee but naked near the window.

"Is your mind still flooded with lust or something? Get dressed, you flasher!"

Cindy was annoyed at how Richard remained nonchalant and was calmly drinking coffee while a group of witches were busy ensuring that Serenity doesn’t completely break after waking up pissed.

It was one thing for Richard to let his lust run wild from time to time. After all, if he bottled it up for too long who knows what would happen?

Still, it was another thing entirely for him to just let himself go like that and even now, after all was said and done, he still kept up the dastardly air a sexpest.

"Sorry..."

Richard apologized while wearing the bathrobe that was tossed his way.

"Really, why’d you have to do something like that? Cervix penetration? I don’t really like the bitch but did you see how much blood was there?! This is too much!"

Cindy scolded Richard pointing at the blood stains on the bed.

While corn makes it appear like blood is from breaking a hymen, in reality, blood is always a result of an injury and internal bleeding was no joke!

Richard wanted to defend himself and talk about the spell that he used which ensure that Serenity would not die because of healing but-

’She knows how that spell works...’’

Cindy knew and understood Richard well, even if Serenty was indeed still alive, that does not mean that what she went through was not torture.

"You’re going to be a dildo for a week!"

Cindy declared and while Richard was the leader, he also knew that pushing things too far would only lead to him losing support from his people.

Even his spells would be nothing more than chains to his subordinates if he gets too tyrannical.

In the end Richard was kicked out of his own room as the group of witches dealt with the aftermath of his wild night.

But as he left the room, Richard found himself dragged by Hana and Samantha to one of the large halls in the mansion.

There, he was made to select his partner for today.

Since Serenity was just the first out of the many witches that would be made to become part of the group, Richard still had a lot of witches to go through.

Of course, Cindy’s punishment only accounted for the witches who were already one of Richard’s people.

The rest of the witches still had to go through the initiation and upon looking at the faces of the witches enveloped in fear...

"Just select three people randomly"

Richard left a passing remark before leaving the hall.

The night with Serenity was quite memorable and even now, he still hasn’t lost the rampant lust within him.

Of course, it wasn’t too strong to cause problems, in fact, he could easily seal it for the meantime but doing so would be boring.

He still had a large group of witches to contract with and if he could reduce the rampant lust then he should.

Moreover, he was bound to suffer from the restrictions that were waiting for him.

He could already sense the witches aiming for him now that Cindy gave him his punishment.

Within the manor filled with witches, few secrets could be kept.

There’s a reason why most witches live isolated from each other and only get together when danger comes or when a big event is scheduled to occur. freёweɓnovel.com

"This gonna be a real pain in the ass..."

He didn’t let the momentary hope of a good night blind him from his fate for the rest of the day.

Especially since there were already a few witches who were suffering from a lack of power due to the experiments that they had to do under his orders.

"Milord!"

Right on cue... the moment Richard turned the corner as he left the hall filled with the local witches, a group of witches who had just finished their shift in the underground dungeon had called out to him.

They wore bright smiles and Richard could already tell what they wanted.

In the end, Richard got dragged into one of the many special rooms set for special activities but this time, he was forced to be on the receiving end.

Back in the US, Kyla Kain let out a deep sigh as she gazed at the distant shores.

At the moment, she was hiding with the Salem Witches. freēwēbnovel.com

As she was a companion of Richard, she received a bit of "special treatment" but that did not excuse her from helping out with the defense of the castle.

The Salem witches had been pushed to a special island that they had hidden in the middle of a lake in Minnesota.

Some would wonder how a whole island could be hidden in the middle of a lake but the island really was hidden even from the eyes of satellites-

Until the magic scare that is.

Because the FMC fell immediately after the huge internet storm rocked the world, the knowledge and technology that the FMC kept to themselves was immediately spread to other agencies.

The biggest beneficiary was of course, the US Military.

Magical armaments allowed regular soldiers with even just a little bit of faith for certain deities or denominations to quickly make use of powerful rifles that could rival tank cannons.

Armor that allowed them to absorb powerful explosions and other tools that would give them a chance to contend with powerful mystics.

Unfortunately, the FMC was able to contend with Salem and Nova Munda mostly due to the coordination between in-house mystics and well trained soldiers.

But the witch scare led many regular soldiers and even top commanders to look at the mystics of FMC and even mystics that worked under organizations like the CIA, FBI and homeland security with intense suspicion.

The FMC created a system that split a squad into two parts, one part was composed of elite soldiers and the other part mystics.

This created a buddy system where one mystic was partnered with one non-mystic.

It worked for the FMC and made them a terrifying force in the mystic world.

But the US military, especially the generals who had long held suspicion towards mystics quickly created squads where one mystics is part of a five man squad with non-mystics.

This was not a squad built on camaraderie, it was a kill squad designed to take down the mystic in the group should they go rogue.

The generals never saw mystics, even those that were not affiliated with other groups or fell into the mystical path by accident as companions.

In the minds of the generals, "Once you become a mystic, you are no longer human".

This mindset is what created the kill system that placed all government affiliated mystics in a bad spot.

Among these, one of the mystics who fell into tough times was in the base opposite of where Kyla was.

Adrian, the former head of the FMC stood near the shores of the lake, he was observing the distant castle using binoculars that were enchanted with multiple spells.

"Anything new?"

The captain of Adrian’s squad, a former special operations operator who was a close friend of his, came up to Adrian.

While other mystics were suffering from being in a squad where they were constantly being eyed with suspicion.

Adrian was able to get into a squad of people he knew.

This was nothing more than a result of being a former leader and also because he was acquainted with a rather important individual.

"The number of monsters went up again"

"How the hell do they get materials from the middle of a lake?"

"I told you, didn’t I? Those mystics love hoarding things, Salem already established itself on this land long before America was born. Moreover, the number of "Mysterious Disappearances" throughout the years never went down, did it?"

Adrian explained for the "nth" time the reason why Salem and even Nova Munda was quite a terrifying force to go against.

Even before America was established, the two groups could have easily taken over the whole continent but they held back because of a certain agreement made by their ancestors years back.

There were no records of who the agreement was made with but Adrian believes that it had something to do with Merlin.

After all, the two leaders rarely bothered to even respond to his calls and somehow rushed him to start a meeting when they heard about Merlin being in the US.

It was quite obvious but Adrian knew that few people had as much information as him.

Still, the way the various leaders in the government acted was suspicious to him.

Adrian could care less about the FMC, the organization had long become nothing but a shadow of its past.

The leaders who wished to create a system that allowed the US to thrive in two separate worlds had long passed and the current leadership was filled to the brim with greedy assholes who just wanted to extend their life.

The founders aimed to create a world where mystics and regular humans could coexist but the current leadership only aimed to steal away the power of the mystics.

Even Adrian had become a test subject in their antics.

The time when he got together with a certain witch was a result of some people wanting to know if the immortality of a witch could be stolen.

Of course, he also knew of the fate a few kidnapped witches were subjected to.

The world was currently being told of the evil that the witches had been doing in the shadows of society but Adrian was well aware of the bodies chained up in the cellars of billionaires.

After all, there was nothing illegal about sleeping with a young lady who was older than your own grandmother right?

But what really made Adrian worry was the possible future where certain things would become "just" in order to satisfy the powerful few.

Witches don’t attack people for no reason.

While there were rogue mystics doing crazy stuff in the shadows, the majority of mystics just wish to live in peace.

Yet, in the current state of affairs, the madmen inside mystics and those in the human side were simply pushing the world into a chaos to suit their goals.

Of course, those madmen were busy sipping their expensive wines and watching everything burn while they awaited the delicious rewards that would come to them.

"I really don’t want to attack that castle... even if those monsters used to be human... the fact that they’re showing them off means that there is something important they want to protect..."

The captain of Adrian’s team, his sworn brother sighed.

Adrian knew the reason why he was acting that way.

Just a few days ago, they were sent to take out a "known witch" and they ended up killing a family of three.

The confirmed witch was the mother who was protected by her husband, a non-mystic. Even knowing that his wife was a witch, he still took up his rifle and shot at the military standing his ground.

Their seven year old daughter should have been hidden safely, Adrian noticed her through his senses that were trained to detect magic and he was going to ignore her but-

"MAMA! PAPA!"

The young witch could not hold her emotions and ran towards her parents corpses, enraged, all Adrian could do was beg her to not use any magic in his mind but-

*BANG*

On the first sign of magic, his buddy was the one who took the fatal shot.

A single accurate shot to the head was enough to end the girl’s life.

A quick and painless death but...

"James..."

Adrian could only sigh, his friend had taken many lives before and unlike other veterans who were haunted by their acts, he was able to remain sane.

But compared to the son of a terrorist who aimed a gun at him, the daughter of a witch whose only sin was being related to magic... the anger of a daughter who had to watch her family get gunned down simply for the sin of existing...

Even if it was because it was an order... the effects of such a moment were showing their effects.

"Can’t we just live in peace?"

James sighed and Adrian wanted to tell him a genuine answer but-

"No..."

That was all he could say, after all, the world was not kind enough to give peace to a man who knew too much.

The pain James felt was great but knowing more would not save him, instead, it would only cause him even more despair.

"We can’t live in peace... that’s our fate..."
