Chapter 583: Chapter 582: We Both Need Time (6)

The situation between them can’t be dragged on; it needs to be resolved eventually.

Whether they break up or reconcile, there must be a conclusion.

Damian Sinclair looked at her silently for a moment before asking, "So when will you figure it out?"

"I don’t know." Bella Acker shook her head. She truly didn’t know when she would be able to make sense of it all; maybe she would understand by tomorrow, or maybe it would take a very long time before she could actually make a decision.

But right now, she indeed needed time to think calmly.

"Alright." Damian Sinclair said, "I’ll wait for you to figure it out, but I will only accept one outcome."

"Huh?" Bella Acker looked at him, somewhat unable to react.

"Reconciliation." Damian Sinclair looked into her eyes with seriousness and intensity, "I will only accept reconciliation as the outcome."

If he only accepted this outcome, was there even a need for her to consider further?

Bella Acker lowered her eyes and said softly, "I’ll send you a message once I’ve thought it through. It’s getting late, you should head back."

"I’ll stay over here tonight," Damian Sinclair continued eating his noodles.

"Given our current relationship, it’s not really convenient for you to stay here..." Bella Acker paused, her voice lowering as she spoke.

Damian Sinclair, holding his chopsticks, turned to look at her, his gaze heavy with too many emotions. After a while, he looked away and said, "I’ll sleep in the dining hall, on the floor."

"Huh?" Bella Acker’s eyes widened, "You..."

Although the temperature had warmed up, sleeping on the floor at night was still cold and hard. Besides, given Damian’s status, he probably hadn’t slept on the floor in his 28 years of life, especially not in a dining hall like this.

Bella Acker ultimately gave in, "Fine, you can sleep in Aunt Sienna’s room, and I’ll stay with Ethan."

"Whatever," Damian Sinclair didn’t even bother to lift his head this time and just continued eating his noodles.

The way he ate noodles was so casual and quick, yet he didn’t slurp like others did, making it seem delicious.

Bella Acker withdrew her gaze and slid her bowl toward his, saying, "I can’t eat so much." With that, she put more than half of her noodles into his bowl, including her two poached eggs.

Damian Sinclair didn’t refuse. He just separated the yolks from the poached eggs and placed them back into her bowl, then continued to eat his noodles.

Seeing the two yolks returned to her, Bella Acker pursed her lips, feeling both bitter and touched.

She stopped speaking, picked up a yolk, and put it into her mouth.

The perfectly cooked yolk burst open in her mouth, the unique aroma spreading quickly, tasting excellent.

This time, Bella Acker didn’t spit it out, and she finished the rest of the noodles.

Damian Sinclair wasn’t in a good mood and didn’t want to talk.

After she was done eating, he picked up both their bowls and silently went to the kitchen to wash them.

Bella Acker wanted to say something, but the words dissolved in her mouth again.

Before she had truly thought things through, anything she impulsively said would only be irresponsible to their relationship.

Bella Acker sighed softly without waiting for Damian to finish washing the dishes and directly went to the attic to share a bed with Ethan.

She slept deeply this time and didn’t wake up until noon the next day.

Ethan was no longer in bed, and Bella Acker went downstairs, searching the house, but couldn’t find him. Damian had also left at some unknown point.

Frowning, Bella Acker reached for her phone to call Damian, only to notice a text message on the screen.
