Chapter 576: Chapter 575: Farewell (Part 4)

Bella is pregnant?

Archer Quinn was momentarily taken aback when he heard this news from the doctor. It took him a second to react and he asked, "Doctor, can you be sure?"

"A blood test and an ultrasound are needed to confirm," the doctor replied.

"Okay, I understand," Archer said. "Doctor, how is her current condition? If she’s pregnant, she shouldn’t be given an IV, right?"

"She’s just sleep-deprived, otherwise there’s nothing major," the doctor said. "Once she wakes up, you should prepare for the arrangements, my condolences."

After saying this, the doctor left with the nurse.

Archer Quinn stayed by Bella Acker’s side, feeling an intense heartache as he gazed at her pallid face, pale from lack of sleep.

Bella is pregnant, and the father’s identity is obvious without much thinking.

Archer’s heart was filled with bitterness. He gently brushed the hair off her face and whispered, "Bella, let me take care of you, okay? I will love you more than Damian Sinclair ever could."

Bella frowned slightly and slowly awoke.

She opened her eyes, her mind blank for two seconds before she gradually returned to her senses.

"Senior Quinn, Aunt Sienna, she..."

"Bella, my condolences." Seeing her trying to sit up, Archer Quinn immediately reached out to support her.

Bella used his arm’s strength to sit up, "Thank you, Senior Quinn."

Archer frowned, "Bella, you just fainted. Stay seated for now."

Bella shook her head, "I’m fine, Aunt Sienna’s arrangements still need to be made." She said this while getting out of bed, stumbling again, and if it weren’t for Archer’s timely assistance, she might have fallen again.

Archer was both heartbroken and reproachful, "Bella, you are pregnant. Even if not for yourself, you should think more about the child inside you. Sit down, I will handle the arrangements from here."

Bella turned her head to look at him in a daze, doubting her ears, "Senior Quinn, what did you just say?"

"The doctor examined you earlier and mentioned you might be pregnant," Archer said. "You’re not alone anymore."

Pregnant? She’s actually pregnant?

Bella was in shock, subconsciously placing her hand on her flat abdomen. She had been taking care of Aunt Sienna every day, how could she be pregnant?

Did the doctor make a mistake? Or... was it that afternoon she was drunk...

Archer sighed, "Bella, don’t think too much for now. Let’s first handle Aunt Sienna’s arrangements."

"Alright." Bella agreed, nodding her head, "Aunt Sienna didn’t have any other relatives, and she didn’t like noise during her life, so let it be simple."

Aunt Sienna’s body wasn’t placed in the hospital mortuary but was sent directly for cremation.

Bella and Ethan both changed into black clothes to receive Aunt Sienna’s ashes back to the orphanage.

Sharon Cheney and others, hearing the news of Aunt Sienna’s passing, rushed to the orphanage, and Damian Sinclair and Bea also came.

Damian marched into the memorial hall, stopped momentarily when he saw Bella kneeling on the floor, then walked up to kneel silently beside her.

Sharon and the others were taken aback by his actions. Unless Damian was already Bella’s husband, kneeling beside her during Aunt Sienna’s vigil was not appropriate.

However, Damian said nothing, knelt by Bella’s side with his back straight, ignoring the gazes of others around him.

Bella turned her head to look at him, and Damian also looked at her, finally opening his mouth to speak.

"I’m sorry, I came late."
