Chapter 4: Balanced unlimited

Sean made the transfer.

[15,000 dollars sent]

[Balance: $30,500]

[30,000 dollars received]

[New Balance: $60,500]

His phone now showed $60,500.

From $4,000 to over Sixty thousand in less than two hours.

And he had helped people who actually needed it. People society ignored. People like he used to be.

Sean felt something shift inside him.

In his past life, he gave everything to Rebecca. Spent everything trying to make her happy. And she threw him away like garbage.

But now he could help people who deserved it and still get richer.

The system was teaching him a lesson.

Generosity toward the right people pays you back.

Generosity toward the wrong people destroys you.

By the time he reached the shopping district, his mind was clear.

Build wealth.

Build power.

Make sure people like Rebecca and Anthony could never touch him again.

Sean stopped in front of a luxury clothing store called Elite Fashion. The building was all glass and chrome, with mannequins in the window wearing clothes that probably cost more than his entire wardrobe combined.

Sean pushed open the glass door. A small bell chimed.

The store smelled like expensive leather and fresh fabric. Everything was clean, organized, intimidating.

A sales clerk looked up from behind the counter. He was a young guy in a tight black suit that probably cost a fortune. His hair was slicked back with too much gel.

He looked Sean up and down, taking in the worn shirt and faded jeans.

His lip curled slightly.

"Can I help you?" Said the store clerk in a rude manner

The tone made it clear he didn’t think Sean belonged there.

"Yeah. I’m looking for some new clothes." Said Sean

"I see." said the sales clerk

The sales clerk didn’t move from behind the counter.

"Well, our items here are quite expensive. Perhaps you’d be more comfortable at the outlet mall down the street. I believe they’re having sales."

Sean felt his jaw tighten.

This condescending asshole.

He wanted to punch him in the face.

But he had a better idea.

"I’m fine here."

Sean walked past him toward the clothing racks.

"I’ll let you know if I need help."

The clerk laughed quietly.

"Sir, I don’t think you understand. A single shirt here costs five hundred dollars. The suits start at three thousand. Unless you have that kind of money, I suggest..."

"I said I’m fine." ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

Sean pulled out his phone and casually checked his balance.

$60,500.

He walked through the store, looking over the racks. Everything was designer. Italian leather shoes. Silk shirts. Tailored suits.

He grabbed a black suit.

Then another in charcoal gray.

Dress shirts.

Designer jeans.

Leather belts.

Italian shoes polished enough to reflect light.

The sales clerk followed him around like a guard dog.

"Sir, I’m going to have to ask you not to touch the merchandise unless you’re seriously purchasing. These items are delicate and..."

"I’m buying all of this."

Sean dumped an armful of clothes onto the counter.

The pile was massive.

Thousands of dollars worth of designer fashion.

The sales clerk blinked.

"I’m sorry, what?"

"I said I’m buying all of this."

Sean grabbed more items. A leather jacket. More shoes. Designer watches from the display case.

"Add these too."

"Sir, I don’t think you realize how much this costs. The total is easily over fifteen thousand dollars. Do you even have that kind of money?"

Sean pulled out his card.

"Ring it up."

The sales clerk stared at him for a long moment before slowly scanning the items.

Five thousand.

Eight thousand.

Twelve thousand.

Fifteen thousand.

Eighteen thousand.

"Your total is twenty one thousand, three hundred and fifty dollars."

The clerk no longer sounded arrogant.

Now he sounded nervous.

"Will that be cash or card?" Said the Sales clerk

"Card." Said Sean

Sean handed it over.

"Sir, I should warn you, if this declines, I’ll have to call security..."

"Just run it."

The clerk swiped the card.

Processing.

The seconds dragged.

Then the machine chimed.

APPROVED

The sales clerk went pale.

"I’ll need these delivered to my apartment in the next thirty minutes." Said Sean while he tells him the address where he wants these clothes delivered.

Sean wrote down Makima’s building address.

"Can you handle that?" Said Sean

"Y yes, sir. Of course, sir." Said the Sales Clerk

The clerk’s attitude changed instantly.

"I apologize for earlier. I didn’t mean to..." Said the Sales Clerk

"Save it." Said sean

Sean wasn’t interested in fake apologies.

Then his phone buzzed.

[21,350 dollars sent]

[Balance: $39,150]

[42,700 dollars received]

[New Balance: $81,850]

Sean’s eyes widened.

He had just made over twenty thousand dollars profit by buying clothes.

The system was insane.

The sales clerk kept apologizing, but Sean barely heard him anymore.

He was already thinking ahead.

If he could help people and get rich at the same time, he needed to play this smart.

Build wealth.

Build power.

Make sure Rebecca and Anthony could never touch him again and also more importantly get his revenge on them.

"Actually, do you have a manager? I want to open a VIP account."

"Of course! Let me get her right away!"

The clerk practically sprinted toward the back room.

Sean leaned against the counter and waited.

A minute later, a woman stepped out from the back office.

She looked around twenty six. Long brown hair tied in a neat bun with loose strands framing her face. Warm hazel eyes. A fitted black dress hugged her figure perfectly.

"Good afternoon. My name is Vanessa Chen. I’m the store manager."

Her voice was smooth and confident.

"I heard you’re interested in our VIP program?" said Vanessa

"Yeah. I plan on shopping here regularly. What does it offer?" Said Sean

Vanessa smiled.

A real smile.

Not the fake customer service kind.

"VIP members get twenty percent off all purchases, early access to new collections, personal shopping assistance, and priority delivery. The membership fee is ten thousand dollars annually." Said Vanessa

"I’ll take it." Said Sean

Vanessa raised an eyebrow.

"You don’t want to think about it?" Said Vanessa

"No need." Said Sean

Sean pulled out his card.

"Let’s set it up."
