Chapter 673: Chapter 673: Kill the Fan Family Members

"Keep searching. We’re bound to find him eventually with so many of us here, and once we do, killing him should be easy. Especially since our team leader is a Peak Skyline expert. Isn’t killing a mere Lin Kuang a piece of cake?" one of them said, his tone filled with confidence and disdain for Lin Kuang.

"Am I really that easy to kill?" Lin Kuang’s voice suddenly rang out from behind them.

He had already sensed them the moment they arrived, so he had opened his eyes and listened carefully to their conversation. When he heard they were from the Fan Family, an irrepressible killing intent surged within him.

Fundamentally, he had no grudge against the Fan Family. However, simply because of Fan Bingbing, Fan Wudao wanted to kill him. That was how their feud began. Since Fan Wudao wanted him dead, Lin Kuang certainly wasn’t going to stand for it. To him, killing was a perfectly normal part of life.

So, Lin Kuang leaped down from the tree, appearing right behind the two men.

Hearing Lin Kuang’s voice, the two Fan Family members’ faces changed drastically, and they scrambled to their feet. Although they weren’t Skyline experts, they were Peak Postnatal experts, just one step away from the Skyline realm. The fact that they only noticed his presence when he spoke was a testament to his incredible power.

Just as the two were about to get up, Lin Kuang had already made his move. With his current strength, killing them was trivially easy. After all, he was a Skyline expert, and these two were merely Postnatal.

He struck in an instant, his palm slamming down on one man’s head.

SPLAT!

The man’s head was instantly crushed. Red blood and brain matter spewed out—a truly gruesome sight.

Seeing his companion die, the other man’s expression filled with shock. Their strengths were nearly identical. Since his partner had been killed so easily, he knew he was no match for Lin Kuang either.

With that thought, the man turned to flee, but Lin Kuang gave him no chance to escape. Lin Kuang’s figure flashed in front of him, one hand clamping around his throat while the other moved swiftly, striking several points on the man’s body. Instantly, the power within his body was sealed, rendering him as powerless as an ordinary person.

Lin Kuang glanced at the man’s terrified face and spoke with disdain, "You’re from the Fan Family, right? You think you can kill me with your level of strength? You really overestimate yourself."

"You... you’re Lin Kuang? How could you possibly be a Skyline expert? This is impossible!" the man stammered, his eyes filled with terror. He had assumed Lin Kuang was only at the Postnatal level, but the power he now displayed was something only a Skyline expert could possess.

"Nothing is impossible in this world," Lin Kuang stated indifferently. "Now talk. How many people did the Fan Family send? How many are Skyline experts?"

"Hmph! If you’ve got the guts, just kill me. I’m not telling you anything," the man said defiantly.

"Really? As an Ancient Warrior, I’m sure you understand what the Bone-dislocating Hand feels like. If I were to use it on you, do you really think you could withstand it?" Lin Kuang’s tone was laced with scorn.

Hearing this, the man’s face fell. As an Ancient Warrior, he knew exactly what the Bone-dislocating Hand was. It was a technique that inflicted such unbearable pain that its victims often prayed for death.

"You... you’re not human! You’re a beast!" the Fan Family member cried out.

"Oh? I’m not human? So when your Fan Family tries to kill me, *that’s* being human? I don’t have time to waste on you. Since you don’t want to talk, I’ll just have to use the Bone-dislocating Hand," Lin Kuang said, crouching down as if to begin.

Seeing this, panic flashed across the man’s face. "No, no, no! I’ll talk! I’ll talk! But you have to promise to spare my life if I tell you everything!"

"Are you in any position to bargain with me? Whether you live or die depends entirely on my mood," Lin Kuang said coolly, looking down at the man at his feet.

The man’s expression was a shifting mask of terror. In the end, he gave in. He didn’t want to die.

"Alright, I’ll tell you," he conceded. "This time, ten of us from the Fan Family came. We’re led by a Peak Skyline expert. There’s also one other Skyline expert. The remaining eight of us are all Peak Postnatal experts. That’s everyone. Now... can you let me go?" The man looked up at Lin Kuang, his gaze full of hope.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang’s expression tightened slightly, a glint of murder in his eyes.

"So, two Skyline experts... Tsk, tsk. Your Fan Family really holds me in high regard," Lin Kuang sneered, the killing intent in his heart flaring.

The captive man said nothing, knowing that now was not the time for him to speak.

"Do you want to live?" Lin Kuang glanced down at the man and asked nonchalantly.

"Yes, yes, I do! I don’t want to die!" the man nodded frantically.

"Very well. But I’m not going to give you what you want." Lin Kuang offered a slight smile, then his battle boot kicked out fiercely, slamming into the man’s chest.

In an instant, the man was dead. Even in death, his eyes were filled with bitter resentment, as if betrayed by Lin Kuang’s deception.

Lin Kuang looked down at the body indifferently. "You can’t blame me for this. After all, you wanted to kill me. How could I possibly let you go?"

With that, Lin Kuang scanned his surroundings before concealing himself again. Since the Fan Family was hunting him, his counter-hunt would now begin. He would eliminate any member of the Fan Family who appeared. He was sure that now that these two were dead, the others would soon come looking. Lin Kuang decided to wait here in ambush to hunt them down.

Things developed just as Lin Kuang had expected. After the remaining eight members of the Fan Family regrouped, they realized two people were missing.

"Where did Zhang Wu and Yang Bin go? Why haven’t they returned?" Fan Mohao asked with a frown.

"Captain, they went southeast," someone reported.

Fan Mohao’s expression changed. "Let’s go and check it out," he said. "It’s highly likely something has happened to them."

"Brother, is that really possible?" Fan Moran asked, a hint of disbelief in his eyes. "They’re both Peak Postnatal experts, and we aren’t that far apart. If they were really taken out, how could we not have heard anything?"
