Chapter 656: Chapter 656: The Witch’s Origin
"Come on, dinner’s ready," Lin Kuang said with a smile. Unbothered by the heat, he carried two large bowls of hot noodles to the dining table.
"What are you staring at? Go get two pairs of chopsticks," Lin Kuang said in annoyance from the doorway.
"Oh, right away," the Witch replied hurriedly and went to fetch the chopsticks.
The two sat at the dining table, slurping down their beef noodles with gusto.
That girl, the Witch, could really eat. She polished off the entire huge bowl of beef noodles and even drank every last drop of the soup.
"Were you a starving ghost in your past life? How can you eat so much?" Lin Kuang couldn’t help but ask, seeing the Witch still looking as if she hadn’t had enough.
"You’re the starving ghost! Can’t I just be really hungry?" the Witch retorted, eyeing the half-bowl of beef noodles left in Lin Kuang’s bowl.
"Uh, you still want more?" Lin Kuang asked in surprise, pointing at his own bowl.
"If... if you’re full, then I... I’ll have a little more. Wasting food is a very bad habit," the Witch said righteously.
Utterly defeated by her, Lin Kuang gave in. "Alright, here. It’s all yours." He handed his bowl of beef noodles to the Witch.
Without hesitation, the Witch took the bowl and chopsticks and, in no time at all, devoured the remaining half-bowl as well.
After finishing, the Witch, finally satisfied, wiped the corners of her mouth, looking full.
"I have to ask, did all that food go straight to your chest?" Lin Kuang couldn’t help but ask, looking at the Witch’s petite figure, which was contrasted by her exceptionally large bust.
"I like them this way. You couldn’t grow them even if you wanted to," the Witch hummed, her tone filled with pride. For any woman, possessing such a stunning pair of breasts was a dream, and the Witch’s were impressive enough to outshine anyone.
"Uh, you’ve got a point there. But as a man, I don’t think I have any need for them," Lin Kuang said with a grin.
"Hmph, I can’t be bothered with you. You’re not a woman; you wouldn’t understand," the Witch huffed.
"Okay, you’re right, I don’t get it," Lin Kuang said with a shrug and a smile. "But while you were sleeping, two people came by, one old and one young. They said they were looking for you, but I threw them out."
"Oh? Looking for me? Who were they? Why did you throw them out?" the Witch asked, puzzled.
"Those two were from the Dong Family, an Ancient Martial Arts family. The young man is named Dong Chongyi. He said you two have an arranged marriage. When I told him you were sleeping and that you were my woman, he got jealous. We ended up fighting, and I taught him and his father a little lesson," Lin Kuang explained, looking at the Witch.
Hearing his words, the Witch’s body trembled, and her beautiful eyes filled with disbelief. "They actually came? That was just a drunken joke! My father mentioned it once, but I never took it seriously."
"Well, it seems like it’s a real thing," Lin Kuang remarked unhappily.
"It is... it’s true... but I never took it seriously! Besides, I’m your woman. I’m not going to be with that Dong Chongyi," the Witch explained quickly, seeing that Lin Kuang seemed a bit upset.
Hearing this, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but smile. This girl... she’s always arguing with me, but deep down, she really cares.
"Alright, I’m not angry. I’m just curious about who your parents really are. Since they have connections to an Ancient Martial Arts family, they can’t be ordinary people, right? You’re my woman now, so you can tell me who they are, can’t you?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile.
The Witch nodded. "Okay. It’s not that I was intentionally hiding it from you; I just never had a chance to tell you. My dad is a businessman on the surface, but his real identity is a member of the Liu Family, an Ancient Martial Arts family. And my uncle—my sister’s father—is also from the Liu Family. I don’t know why, but both of them left the family. My dad has been operating abroad, building his own forces and businesses, while my uncle has built his own power base. The two brothers each have their own affairs. My parents are rarely ever home, so I’ve lived with my sister since I was a teenager."
Hearing her explanation, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but nod. "Does Shilin not know about this? She’s never mentioned it to me."
"Of course my sister doesn’t know, otherwise why would she hide it from you? She’s always believed her father was just an ordinary businessman. I only know because I overheard my parents talking. They ordered me not to tell a soul, so I didn’t tell my sister either."
"I see. Then why are you telling me?" Lin Kuang asked with a teasing smile.
"I don’t know! I just felt like it, so what are you going to do about it?" the Witch said irritably.
"Nothing at all. Telling me just means my little Witch loves me, right?" Lin Kuang said with a grin.
"Pah! Shameless. So thick-skinned," the Witch muttered, her face turning red.
"If you say that again, I’ll have to take action!" Lin Kuang said, pulling the Witch into his arms with a mischievous smile.
"Jerk! No, stop it! That... that spot still hurts... No naughty stuff right now," the Witch said, blushing as he held her.
"Hey, I didn’t say I was going to do anything. What’s going on in that little head of yours? So dirty," Lin Kuang teased.
Hearing this, the Witch’s face instantly turned crimson. She opened her mouth and bit down hard on Lin Kuang’s chest.
"OW! Hey, let go! No, I mean, let go with your mouth! You brat, you’re killing me!" Lin Kuang cried out in annoyance. This girl bites way too hard!
"Hmph! That’ll teach you to tease me! I’ll bite you to death!" the Witch grunted, waving her little fists.
"You little rebel! Let’s see how I deal with you!" Holding the Witch, Lin Kuang began to tickle her. She giggled uncontrollably until tears of laughter streamed down her face.
They played around for a while before Lin Kuang came to his senses. He still had to pick up little Xinxin. I’m going to be late!
At this thought, Lin Kuang quickly told the Witch he had to go and hurried out of the main hall.
Driving quickly, Lin Kuang managed to arrive at the kindergarten just as school was letting out for Xinxin.
