Chapter 1598: Chapter 1598: Taylor’s Reminder

Catherine was afraid he would run away, so she followed her son all the way.

Actually, Taylor wouldn’t leave; if he agreed to go, he would definitely go. He cared about his father, but he didn’t want to see Louis, nor did he want to see Eden.

Eden has always been unkind to him. Although there were no open conflicts, he could feel it.

Taylor always felt pressured when meeting his father, especially when his father asked about his studies, which was truly his weak point.

He wasn’t unintelligent; he was just genuinely bad at studying, even the study-assisting guard was better than him, and this was not a myth, it was something he himself admitted.

Having his game interrupted midway, Taylor was a bit unwilling, feeling somewhat sulky as he walked outside.

As he walked, he encountered Jocelyn Morgan in the corridor outside the palace.

And Jocelyn Morgan happened to see him too. Their gazes met, and the scene of that day, bumping into each other at the cafe entrance, flashed in their minds.

They both remembered having seen each other once.

But today, they met in the royal palace??

Taylor stopped in his tracks, inevitably puzzled. Why was she in the royal palace? Who was she? How did she get in?

Several questions arose in his mind one after another.

And Jocelyn didn’t know his identity either, but she did see Princess Catherine following behind him.

"Jocelyn."

To curry favor with Justin Kingston, Catherine smiled warmly at her sister and said, "Your brother is living over there, do you want to call him? Or should I send someone to take you there?" She pointed in a certain direction.

"Hello, Princess." Jocelyn stopped and said sweetly, "I already called him; I was just about to go find him."

The princess casually asked again, "Is Prince Louis easy to talk to? Did he teach you any knowledge about gardening?"

"Yes." She nodded.

Taylor’s indifferent gaze stayed on her face until she said goodbye to his mother and walked away.

Only then did Taylor look at her back and ask the woman behind him, "Who is she? And who is her brother?"

"Oh, I forgot to tell you something." Catherine, recalling the matter, felt much more cheerful, "With Justin Kingston’s support, perhaps we can guarantee your inheritance rights."

"Justin Kingston?"

"Let’s talk as we walk." Catherine led him to continue forward.

The mother and son walked toward the king’s palace.

Along the way, with no one else around, Catherine couldn’t help but whisper to him, "I invited Justin Kingston’s construction team to build a castle park for me, I offered him double the price, and he agreed. He brought the team here himself today, and there’s a welcome banquet tonight that you must attend."

"Did that girl come with him?" Taylor asked suspiciously.

The princess answered firmly, "Of course, in the beginning, I thought she was his assistant, but later I found out she’s his aunt’s daughter, his sister."

Taylor sensed something was off,

He turned to glance at his mother, kindly reminding her, "I’ve seen that girl before, she didn’t come with him, she’s been in Lorelei for many days, and she just came from Louis’s side. We must be cautious of her."

"..." Catherine was shocked by her son; she suppressed her suspicions, still surprised, "How do you know? Where did you see her?"

"Chance encounter at a cafe." He was certain.

Catherine was reluctant to believe it, she smiled, unwilling to give up on Justin Kingston’s strong support, "Young girl likes to play, coming early for a tour is quite normal, and she is just a university student."

Taylor didn’t say anything in response to his mother’s unwavering belief; after all, he wasn’t involved in royal struggles.

As far as the throne was concerned, he was not particularly enthusiastic about it.
