"You’re putting us under house arrest!" Feng Lulu shot to her feet.

Lin Liping added indignantly, "This is Lulu’s home, for heaven’s sake! It’s only natural that she’d want to see her own father. Why are you being so aggressive?!"

"You two had better learn your place," the man with the scar sneered.

The other, dark-skinned bodyguard chimed in, a mocking glint in his eyes. "One of you is the sister of the Patriarch’s late ex-wife, and the other is her daughter. To the Feng Family, you’re nobodies. We’re already showing you enough respect by treating you this way. What more could you possibly want?"
