Chapter 964: Chapter 991: Did You Miss Me? (2)

"There wasn’t much to do on Friday night, so I agreed," Windsor Myres looked at her and said, "But she didn’t mention anything about Camden River."

Mia Ginger rubbed the edge of the cup with one hand, lost in thought.

Mina Lee was outgoing and sociable, and she never clashed with others in the dormitory. However, out of personal friendships, she was definitely closer to Tong Tong, and they could be considered best friends now.

She invited Camden River, seemingly to match him with Tong Tong?

And now she’s inviting Windsor Myres?

What’s going on?!

Mia Ginger couldn’t fully understand. Thinking more carefully, she wondered if she was overthinking it all.

Mina Lee was currently working in entertainment news and naturally needed connections. Maybe she just brought it up casually, or didn’t consider who gets along with whom. It’s just a class reunion—the more people, the merrier.

Mia Ginger furrowed her brows, lost in thought.

Windsor Myres noticed her expression and asked, "Are you inviting Camden River over?"

"I promised Mina Lee I would ask him," Mia Ginger looked up and smiled, "But I feel like he probably won’t come. What do you think? If you’re bothered by it, I won’t inform him."

Windsor Myres hadn’t dated anyone in the past two years, something Mia Ginger knew. When they communicated, Camden River was occasionally mentioned. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, and over time, the differences between them faded, making them even closer than before she went abroad.

However—

Time is the greatest teacher.

The absence of barriers doesn’t equate to complete closeness. They were accustomed to giving each other space, speaking rather politely.

"You do as you please, don’t worry about me," Windsor Myres shrugged and smiled, "Cloud Capital is only so big, there are only so many people in this circle; we’ll eventually run into each other. No awkwardness about it. Besides, two years have passed, and I don’t really mind about Camden and Tong Tong’s incident. Tong Tong’s already dating someone else, I’m not going to hold onto a kiss for so long."

"Dating someone?" Mia Ginger was surprised, "That lawyer?"

"Probably, I’ve run into them several times at school. Wouldn’t happen if there was no connection."

"Oh," Mia Ginger nodded with a smile.

The two of them fell silent, and after a moment, Windsor Myres asked her, "Have you decided where to intern? Preparing to be a reporter?"

"I plan to go to Sunshining Network; how about you? Confirmed you’re not entering this field?"

"Can’t do it, too exhausting." Windsor Myres pouted and shook her head, "Running around everywhere with a camera all day isn’t suitable for me. I’ll just get a diploma by next year and learn business from my mom."

"How does it feel?" Mia Ginger asked her again.

"Quite boring." Windsor Myres sighed and looked out the window, "Day by day, it doesn’t feel meaningful."

Mia Ginger pursed her lips and traced circles on the table with a finger, unsure if she should say what was on her mind.

She stayed silent. After a while, Windsor Myres turned back from looking out the window and earnestly asked her, "Do you think there’s still a chance for me and Camden River? Did he mention me often while abroad these two years?"

Mia Ginger bit the straw, and after a while, replied, "He did mention."

"What was said?"

"Just a few days ago, I asked him if there was a possibility of being together with you after returning, and he said there was." Mia Ginger thought for a moment and answered truthfully.

"Do you think he still loves me?" Windsor Myres asked again.

Mia Ginger was momentarily taken aback and replied honestly, "I don’t know."

She truly didn’t know.

During her studies abroad these two years, she was quite busy, partly due to Camden River.
