"Pfft." Someone laughed in the elevator.

Mia Ginger was startled and turned her head to glance at the person, discovering it was a doctor who smiled with a blush and then stood quietly.

Koa Jackson glanced down at her, curled his lips, and when they both stepped out of the elevator, he teased, "So you do know how to get shy, huh?"

Mia pouted, "So just how much did you miss me?"

Koa kept his lips curled and didn’t respond.

Mia nudged him a couple of times, looking like she wouldn’t stop until he confessed.

Being teased by her, Koa had no choice but to lean down close to her ear and said in a low voice, "Hmm, I’ll let you know tonight."

Mia: "..."

Regaining her senses, her face flushed red, and she glared at him, biting her lip.

Koa couldn’t hold back his laughter, his eyes and brow filled with extreme joy. He squeezed her hand and pulled slightly, gesturing, "Let’s go."

Mia followed him closely and after a while, muttered, "Do your colleagues know you’re like this?"

"As long as you know," Koa replied smoothly.

Mia happily jumped in place as Koa opened the trunk, lifting her suitcase with one hand and placing it inside.

They both got into the car, Mia buckled her seatbelt, turned to look at him, and asked, "Where are we going first?"

"Have you eaten?" Koa thought for a moment.

"I’m not hungry right now, let’s not eat." Mia looked at his ridiculously handsome face and impulsively said, "However, I might consider it if it involves eating you, how about..."

Before she could finish, Koa clutched the back of her head and kissed her hard twice.

Feeling a bit dizzy, Mia heard him say by her ear, "Let’s head to the apartment first, hmm?"

Was he talking about... the one next to the hospital?

Mia bit her lower lip, couldn’t help but smile, and nodded twice firmly.

With one hand, Koa secured his seatbelt, and with a swift move, he drove out of the parking space.

Soon, they arrived at the apartment’s parking lot.

After parking, they didn’t take the luggage but instead held hands and went straight into the elevator.

As soon as they entered the elevator, they kissed passionately. Koa glanced sideways to press the floor button.

The sound rang in their ears.

They briefly separated and, once they reached the door, Koa opened it, pushed her inside, and followed in himself, closing the door decisively with a loud bang.

It was broad daylight, and the room was well-lit.

Koa didn’t even change his shoes, supporting himself on the wall with one hand, looking down at her.

His gaze was filled with a blatant desire to possess.
