Chapter 108: Don’t flirt with me

Lyvana arrived at the suite, late that night.

She still couldn’t believe this was her new apartment. She walked to the kitchen and on the table, There was a small spread of her favorite snacks and her prenatal vitamins, laid out perfectly next to some more flowers. She ran a finger over them, wondering who had taken the time to set this up for her.

She was halfway to the bedroom to take a warm shower when a firm knock sounded at the door. Lyvana turned around and looked at the security screen. On the display, it was Julian holding something in his arms.

She pressed the button to unlock the door, and as it swung open, the scent of his expensive cologne filled the room.

Her heart skipped a beat. He was looking so perfect in his white shirt. But he was cradling a giant, family-sized tub of premium chocolate ice cream in his arms.

"I thought you might need a treat after such a long day at the venue," he said cooly.

Lyvana looked from the tub to his face, unimpressed but amused. "That’s a family-sized tub, Julian."

"You’re carrying twins," he countered simply.

"Wait. So now I’m eating for three?

"Exactly." He moved past her to the counter, already pulling two bowls from the cabinet. He scooped the dark chocolate with efficient grace. "One for you, one for the boy, one for the girl, or whatever combination they’ve decided on. I wasn’t going to risk a supply shortage."

Lyvana laughed. "A family-sized tub? You really have thought of everything, haven’t you?"

"That is the plan," he murmured. He leaned in, his hand cupping her cheek as he pressed a lingering, soft kiss to her lips.

"Well, at this rate, I won’t be able to fit through the kitchen door by next month."

Julian pulled back just enough to let his gaze travel slowly, possessively, down to her still-flat stomach before locking back onto her eyes.

"Then I’ll just have the doors widened."

Lyvana shook her head, taking the bowl from him.

"You’re impossible. You’d really remodel the whole apartment just because I’m eating too much chocolate?"

"I’d remodel the entire building if it made you more comfortable," Julian replied. He leaned against the marble counter, watching her take the first bite.

"It’s good, right?"

"It’s perfect," she whispered, the cold sweetness hitting her tongue. She took another slow, bite of the chocolate.

"You know," she murmured. "You know, for a man with no experience, you’re surprisingly good at handling a pregnant woman’s cravings."

But he wasn’t listening anymore. His gaze lingered, on her lips, on the slow way she took another bite and on the quiet satisfaction in her expression. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

Lyvana glanced up at him, and froze slightly under the weight of his stare.

"The way you’re looking at me right now, Julian... it doesn’t look like you’re thinking about ice cream."

He tilted his head. "Don’t flirt with me," he warned.

She shrugged. "Do you... mind telling me who exactly Seraphina is?"

There was silence for a moment. "She is Catalina’s best friend and she is a crazy woman."

"She is a threat then?" freewёbnoνel.com

Julian shrugged. "She is just desperate. Don’t worry about her. A threat only works if it reaches the target, and I have no intention of letting them get within a mile of you. I’ve already sent extra security to Aurora."

Lyvana nodded.

Julian reached out, his thumb tracing the curve of her lower lip, clearing a stray drop of chocolate.

"I don’t take threats to my home lightly, Lyvana. Especially not now."

She reached up, her fingers grazing his wrist.

"You are so cute when you are serious."

Julian’s eyes narrowed instantly, his thumb stopping its movement on her lip.

"Oh, I told you not to flirt with me."

He got up and lifted her unto the table, crashing his lips onto hers.

Lyvana gasped, her bowl of ice cream forgotten on the counter as Julian’s hands settled firmly on her waist.

He showered her neck and shoulders with feverish kisses, his touch possessive. Then reached for the zipper of her dress, the fabric sliding down her skin until it pooled around her on the marble surface of the table.

His kiss was deep and possessive. He took off her dress, then gently parted her thighs and brushed her panties aside.

She was dry. He needed to fix that.

He sucked her nipples and start kissing her downward. He dipped his tongue into her navel.

"Julian..." she moaned.

He run his tongue on the lower part of her belly, his breath warm against her skin. He then slid his hands beneath her hips, tilting her slightly toward him.

He leaned down, parting her legs even further. Lyvana supported herself with her hands, watching him. He licked along her slit and dipped his tongue deep into her pussy, moving with a fast, steady rhythm.

She moaned. It was so damn hot. She was hot... and sexy. And she was his. Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer.

My Lyvana is getting wilder, he thought as a sudden heat burned through him. I love it.

Her hips grind roughly against his mouth as her orgasm hit, her whole body tightening.

"You taste like heaven," he murmured.

Every sound she made seemed to feed his hunger. He pulled back to look at her, his eyes dark with desire.

His hands slid up to cup her face. kissed her deeply, then lifted her into his arms, carrying her into the bedroom like some spoilt queen, or perhaps a willing captive.

In the Grant mansion, Catalina paced back and forth. Each click of her heels made her more annoyed.

She had worked too hard to become Julian’s wife. Annuled or not, in the eyes of everyone who mattered she was his wife. She couldn’t let it all fall apart now.

She stopped by the window and stared at the beautiful landscape.

"That crazy girl," Catalina hissed to the empty room. She squeezed her hands into tight fists. "She has no idea what she’s walking into. Or maybe she does. That’s the real problem."
