Chapter 153: Alone In The Same Space

Anita felt bad when she heard Owen’s slightly aggrieved words. She had indeed been too anxious. On the one hand, she heard an answer she didn’t want to hear from Owen, and on the other hand, she wanted to escape this matter.
"Owen, I’m sorry. It won’t happen again," Anita said to Owen after a moment.
Owen nodded at Anita. It hadn’t been easy for the two of them to get to where they were today, so when he saw the photos on Anita’s phone yesterday, he restrained his emotions.
At that time, the first emotion he felt was anger. He was angry that Anita didn’t believe him and didn’t pick up the phone or reply to messages because of a few photos, making him worry for so long.
But later, he controlled himself. He didn’t want to be too impulsive, and he didn’t want there to be a misunderstanding between the two of them like before Anita went overseas.
So yesterday, he thought about it and confessed everything to Anita.
With everything said, there was no longer a barrier between the two of them. They entered the honeymoon period again. The two of them stuck together even when they washed the dishes and tidied the room.
Anita glanced at Owen, who had been following her. Finally, she couldn’t help but say, "Owen, don’t you have something to do? Go ahead. I’ll pack."
Owen froze at Anita’s words. "Do you think I’m too annoying? Okay, I’ll go to the study."
These words were too childish. Anita burst out laughing. "I don’t think you’re too annoying. I just think we should all have our own space to handle some things. You can go do your work first. You don’t have to always be with me."
Owen listened to Anita and thought about it. It was true. They were both adults and had their own things to deal with. Since she said so, there was no need to stay together.
So he nodded and walked towards Anita. "Then kiss me and I’ll get busy."
"Okay, that’s enough, right?" Anita leaned closer to Owen and kissed him before smiling at him.
"I’ll get busy." Owen’s request was satisfied by Anita, so he headed for the study with a happy expression.
Anita looked at Owen’s back and smiled helplessly. Then she walked back to the entryway and pushed the suitcase she had brought back yesterday beside the living room sofa and started to unpack.
When she opened the box, she remembered again. She had wanted to bring a gift for Owen when she returned, but she hadn’t expected to receive those photos, so she was so sad that she didn’t even bring a gift for Owen.
At this moment, she couldn’t help but feel a little regretful that none of the things in the luggage were gifts for Owen.
She did not have a lot of things. Other than her clothes, most of her things were the books she had bought in England and the information she had sorted out at the exchange. After putting her clothes in the bedroom, she was basically done.
After packing her suitcase and putting it back in the storage room, Anita stood at the entrance to the porch and looked around the house she had left for a few days. She had returned too late yesterday and quarreled with Owen, so she had no time to look at the house.
Now that she was done, she stood quietly in the living room and looked around. The things in the house were no different from when she had left, but the feeling was different.
Before she left, she was sad. At that time, she thought that she might not have a chance to live here again, but she didn’t expect things to turn around.
After the misunderstanding with Owen was resolved, their feelings for each other quickly warmed, so looking at the house now made her feel especially happy. From the kitchen to the dining room to the living room, every corner was filled with her and Owen’s joyful moments. free𝑤ebnovel.com
"What is it? What are you looking at?" Owen asked with a smile when he came out of the study after work to look at Anita and saw that she had been standing there without moving. He thought she was looking at something.
"Well, nothing. I was just looking at what we’re missing at home," Anita said with a smile when she came back to her senses.
"Can you tell what’s missing?" Owen said while listening to Anita.
"Yes, I think it might be lacking in greenery. Don’t you think our family doesn’t seem very lively?" Anita thought about it seriously.
"Then change your clothes. Let’s go out and buy some flowers now," Owen said quickly with a smile.
Both of them were action-oriented and acted immediately. They went back to their room, changed their clothes, and drove towards the flower market.
This must be the first time Owen and Anita had gone out together, so when they reached the flower shop and walked in, they couldn’t help but freeze. Then they looked at each other and smiled.
"This seems to be the first time we’ve come out together," Owen said first.
Anita smiled and nodded at Owen’s words.
