"Mentor, you’re back." Anita saw her mentor first and quickly stood up.
"Why are you here? Aren’t you going to England for a business trip? Aren’t you going to pack your things?" the mentor asked Anita.
"I’m already packed. I’m here to say goodbye to you. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to study overseas," Anita said as she smiled at her mentor.
"You fought for the opportunity yourself. Seize it." The mentor glanced at Anita and continued, "Don’t stay with me. Hurry up and go."
Anita watched as her mentor started to chase her away and smiled helplessly. She picked up her bag and walked out the door. "I’ll get going, then. Take care of yourself and your wife."
When Anita was out of sight, her mentor shook his head helplessly.
"Why are you shaking your head?" The mentor’s wife looked at her husband’s actions and asked curiously.
"It’s okay, I’m just tired. Hurry up and pack up. Let’s go home." The mentor retracted his gaze and smiled at his wife.
Anita left her mentor’s home and headed for the laboratory.
At this moment, there were very few people in school. Most of them were in class, and the road was quiet.

When she reached the laboratory door, she didn’t go in. She called Jack out.
"Anita, what’s wrong? Why didn’t you go in?" After Jack hung up, he saw Anita as soon as he came out of the laboratory door and asked curiously.
"It’s okay, Jack. I just came to tell you that I’m going to England for a few days. It might be hard on you to do the subsequent experiments alone," Anita said with a smile as she looked at Jack.
"Business trip? Why so sudden? I didn’t hear you say so before," Jack asked anxiously when he heard that Anita was going on a business trip again.
"I’m sorry, this decision was made in a hurry, but don’t worry, I’ll catch up with the rest of the experiments as soon as possible. I won’t hold you back," Anita added.
"What are you talking about? We’re partners. I definitely won’t see you fall behind. It’s just, Anita, did something happen to you?" Jack asked Anita with concern.
Anita really didn’t want to answer anymore. The most she had heard in the past two days was someone asking her what had happened.
She wanted to say that she was good. She just wanted to calm down, think about things and sort out her relationship with Owen, but she couldn’t. She still just smiled at Jack. "Nothing happened to me. It was arranged by my mentor. I just came to tell you. I’ll get going now."
Anita didn’t want to continue. She gave a simple explanation and turned to leave.

Anita didn’t respond to Jack’s words. She just waved her hand with her back facing him.
After she was done, Anita confirmed again that the plane ticket was for seven in the evening. She went home, pushed out her packed luggage, and took a taxi to the airport.
As she sat in the car, she held her phone and thought about it. Should she tell Owen?
But by the time she reached the airport, it was almost time to board. She hadn’t thought about what to say yet. She was afraid that if she sent Owen a message, he wouldn’t reply or would send something she didn’t want to see.
If that was the case, she would be even sadder. But when she sat in the waiting room and listened to the radio, she hesitated again.
Then she pulled out her phone and sent Owen a message. "Owen, my flight is at 7."
She relaxed after the message was sent. Whether Owen would reply to her or not, she wouldn’t think about it. But before she could put her phone in her bag after the message was sent, the phone rang.
Owen called her. "Anita, are you at the airport?"
"I’m already at the airport and I’m about to board," Anita said and was stunned by Owen’s anxious voice.
"What? Why didn’t you send me a message sooner? Why didn’t you wait for me to send you off? You don’t want to see me that much?" Owen admitted that when he saw Anita’s message, he immediately lost it.
At that moment, he immediately felt a huge sense of crisis. He suddenly wanted to ignore everything and immediately go to the airport to stop Anita from leaving.
But there was no time. It was past 6pm, but she had just sent the message to him. It was obvious that she had planned it beforehand.
