Chapter 107: Bashful Morning

Anita thought about it. She didn’t seem to have any grounds to retort. "Okay, then thank you for sending me home, but I wasn’t refusing you to send me because the car isn’t nice. I’m just worried that it’s too late and it’s not safe for you to go back."

"I understand. You’re so nagging. Get in the car." Jack’s car was parked not far from the school gate. The two of them reached the car in a few moments.

They didn’t say that again on the road. There was music in Jack’s car, so they listened quietly. They soon arrived at Anita’s home.

"Okay, I’m here," Anita said to Jack.

"Do you live here?" Jack asked while glancing out at the upscale neighborhood.

Anita smiled sheepishly at Jack’s question. "Yes, we just moved here not long after we got married."

"Well, that’s nice." Jack didn’t say anything else.

After Anita pushed open the door to the car, she waved goodbye to Jack.

Jack said nothing and nodded. He started the car and left when he saw Anita walk into the community.

Jack felt conflicted.

On the one hand, he felt that it was only right for Anita to find such an outstanding husband since she was such an outstanding girl. But on the other hand, he wondered why he couldn’t have met Anita sooner. This way, he might have had a chance.

Halfway through, he thought about it and turned the steering wheel before driving towards the bar. He could feel that he wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight when he returned home. He needed to go to the bar to vent.

Anita was in a good mood today. As soon as she got out of Jack’s car, she hummed a tune and walked home. She didn’t notice at all that someone was following her at the entrance to the community.

Owen had been busy at the office all day and hadn’t called Anita.

When he finally finished his work and reached home, Anita fell asleep already.

He could not help but feel a little sad, but he had to continue with work. After all, he was responsible for the entire company.

The next morning, Anita made breakfast. "Owen, you’re awake. Come eat."

Owen looked at the meal prepared on the dining room table and said nothing. He looked at Anita, who was still busy in the kitchen, and turned to walk towards the kitchen. "What is it? I have grease on me. Stay away from me," Anita said as she turned to Owen.

"I don’t want to. I miss you," Owen said a little coquettishly as he hugged Anita’s waist and rested his head on her shoulder.

When she heard Owen’s words, Anita’s heart melted. She turned and kissed Owen on the mouth.

She wanted to leave after the kiss, but how could Owen miss such a good opportunity?

He immediately grabbed Anita and didn’t let her leave. Then he kissed her even more forcefully. This kiss made the two of them unable to separate for a long time.

But in reality, the two of them hadn’t been intimate only for a night.

Later on, they didn’t know whose tongue reached into whose mouth first, but in any case, after the lovemaking ended, Anita had to lean on Owen to prevent herself from falling.

"Anita, I want you," Owen said hoarsely, moving a little away from Anita.

Anita blushed at Owen’s words. She wanted to admit that she actually wanted it too, but she knew she couldn’t do that.

Owen had worked late last night. If they didn’t do it today, then he didn’t know how much longer he would have to wait. "How about we do it tonight? I’ll wait for you to come back tonight."

Owen knew that he had been too anxious.

Both of them had things to do today, so he controlled his emotions. He said nothing and nodded. "Let’s eat first," Anita said and prepared to bring the freshly warmed milk out. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

"What’s wrong? Are we going out to eat?" Anita asked when she saw Owen still standing in the kitchen. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com

Owen blushed. "It’s... it’s okay. You can go out first."

With that, Owen turned around. He didn’t want Anita to see him.

It would have been better if he didn’t turn around. As soon as he did, Anita understood.

They had just been kissing so passionately. She felt better after a while, but Owen must have had a physiological reaction that hadn’t subsided.

The small hill could be vaguely seen.

After understanding this, Anita blushed again. "Then... I’ll go out first. Come back quickly."

Owen looked at Anita’s flushed face and knew she understood what he meant. He nodded even more awkwardly.

By the time Owen came out of the kitchen, Anita was done eating. "I’ll go change first," Anita said and hurried from the table, as if she were escaping.

Owen had felt a little embarrassed, but he smiled in exasperation when he saw Anita avoid him so quickly.
