Chapter 100: Simple-Minded Owen

Editor: Henyee Translations

"Mr. Bieber, Anita and I are already on the way." Owen took Anita’s hand in one hand and called Bieber while holding his phone in the other.

Anita followed Owen all the way forward and was careful of her surroundings. The resort wasn’t big or small. She really wanted to hide from Eric. She didn’t want to ruin the vacation.

"Anita, what are you looking at? You’ve been looking around," Owen said with a smile after putting his phone in his pocket. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ

"Nothing. I just think the scenery at night is good too." Anita quickly looked away from Owen and said.

Owen didn’t respond to Anita’s words and just reached out to scratch her nose.

The two of them chatted and laughed intimately as they arrived at the private room in the dining room.

"Look at the two of you. The newlyweds are really different. You’re so intimate," Bieber said with a smile as he watched the two of them walk hand in hand.

Anita lowered her head with a shy smile.

"Joan, look at you. Hurry up and find a boyfriend to marry," Bieber said to his daughter.

"Daddy, what are you saying? Owen, look at him," Joan said as she listened to her father.

Owen smiled at Joan’s words. "Joan, Mr. Bieber is right. You haven’t found a boyfriend all these years overseas?"

"Owen, even you’re saying the same thing. I don’t even want to talk to you anymore," Joan said while pretending to be angry.

"Joan, that’s not what Owen meant. You’re so outstanding. There must be a lot of people pursuing you," Anita said with a smile as she looked at Joan.

Joan suddenly laughed. "Yes, but so what if I’m outstanding? I don’t have as much luck as Anita does since she found Owen."

"Joan, what are you talking about? You’re very outstanding too. It’s because that person hasn’t appeared yet." Owen didn’t think too much of what Joan said and just smiled.

"Yeah, Joan, Owen is right. You’re so good. There are still many good men. You don’t have to be hung up on the same person forever," Anita continued.

Joan didn’t respond to Anita’s words, but she didn’t look as happy as she had earlier.

"Okay, the dishes are all here. Let’s eat," Mr. Bieber called them.

With the lesson from the afternoon, Owen didn’t dare to neglect Anita and was constantly watching her. He kept putting food in her bowl and pouring her drinks.

"Owen, can the two of you stop doing this? I don’t think I’m eating. I’m suffering from the PDA of the two of you." Joan put down her cutlery and looked at the two of them unhappily.

"Joan, I think the best way is for you to find a boyfriend as soon as possible. This way, we can all show PDA when we eat together," Owen said with a smile.

Joan simply didn’t know what to say. If Annie said so, she could have retorted, but it was Owen who said this, and she couldn’t say anything even if she felt dismayed.

Anita smiled at Owen’s blunt words.

Owen didn’t know what Joan meant by these words, but she did.

She didn’t want to confront Joan, but she didn’t expect Owen to be so supportive.

For a moment, she felt even better and even had the strength to eat.

Owen didn’t know what was going on between Joan and Anita, but he saw that Anita looked better and had eaten more, so his mood brightened.

Some ate the meal happily and some ate it in a sulky mood. But no matter what, the meal eventually ended.

After dinner, Joan suggested that they walk back to the hotel together. They could also enjoy the scenery of the resort. Hence, the four of them walked towards the hotel after finishing their meal.

It was around ten in the evening. The moon was hanging in the sky.

The moonlight shone on the road. There were wild flowers on both sides of the road. The wind blew and brought about a fragrance. Everyone started to relax.

With the fragrance of flowers and the chirping of insects, Anita and Owen felt relaxed.

Joan looked at the two of them being intimate and could only be angry. She felt that the suggestion she had made to walk back was bad.

But no matter how angry or unhappy she was, she could not resist the beautiful scenery of the night. Later on, when she saw that she could not interrupt their conversation, she relaxed and started to enjoy the beautiful night scenery.

Everyone was about to reach the hotel.

"We meet again, Anita," Eric said with a smile as he suddenly appeared.
