Chapter 30: Bathhouse
Bathhouse
The two girls entered the changing room; the room itself was quite large, almost everything except the lockers was white-the tiles and the light. Only the lockers were a gray color, designed for approximately 100 people.
’It seems there’s not only a bathhouse here, but a pool as well,’ she thought, seeing how many lockers there were.
They began to undress, but neither uttered a word; however, both knew they were thinking about one thing, or more precisely: How will our conversation go?Because in this conversation, one shouldn’t say words that shouldn’t be said. Both possess significant power, so it was necessary to be as polite as possible.
Princess Celestia took off her chic and aristocratic outfit and thought:
’If I had known, I would have come in different clothes; I didn’t think she would suggest going to the bathhouse so suddenly.’
After that, Lysandra also took off her clothes, and to be honest, their underwear surprised each other a little because the Princess’s was black, while Lysandra’s was red.
What an irony and coincidence, both thought.
"You have so many wounds, it must be very painful for you?" Lysandra asked, seeing Celestia’s wounds covering almost her entire upper body.
"Not always, but at certain times, yes, it can be very painful, but not critical," she replied, and after that, she also began to look at Lysandra.
"Lysandra, what is your breast size?" saying these words, Princess Celestia began looking at Lysandra’s chest.
Whether because of this or out of embarrassment, she began to avert her gaze.
"Don’t worry, Princess, you are still young; yours will still grow," she replied, her embarrassment now shifting into a smirk.
’Not that I particularly wanted to, but it’s still somehow unpleasant, especially that smirk, which seems to say "look, mine is better." As if.’
"Princess, are you really interested in girly talk? I heard that you were very cold, but it turns out this is how you are," she said with a soft smile.
’Well, being just pointlessly cold and suppressing emotions is simply not good. My nature is like this; I love talking about such things. And I am proud of it.’
"Well, I think it interests almost all girls, doesn’t it?" Celestia asked.
"Well, I agree with that."
After this intimate and heartfelt conversation, they both left the changing room and went to the sauna.
"Wow, it’s so hot here," Lysandra began the conversation.
Indeed, the air in the bathhouse was thick, enveloped in a dense layer of soft steam. But it was a pleasant, relaxing heat that instantly penetrated under the skin, making tired muscles relax. The space was lined with light marble; through the clouds of steam, the outlines of massive bowls with bubbling water were barely visible. A faint, subtle scent of medicinal herbs and essential oils spread everywhere.
They both submerged themselves in the hot water; there were only the two of them in this bathhouse, which was perfect for talking and continuing the conversation they had started in the business center.
"Do you know Ruthless’s past or how he’s generally connected to them?" Celestia asked, closing her eyes while enjoying the water.
"To be honest, I know what everyone knows; back then I said to promise that one day he would tell how he’s connected to them, but as you already know, unfortunately, that future will not come," she said, playing with the water with a sad face, as if remembering her days with him.
"I see, then let’s continue. Can you tell me which organizations you mentioned to him at that moment?"
"At that moment, I said that there is only one thieves’ organization in our city of Syoga, although in fact there are two organizations in our city; therefore, I think he went to the one I mentioned."
’So it can be assumed that if she mentioned only one, there is a high probability that he went to them. In that case, I will first need to investigate that one, and then, if he is not there, I will need to look into the second.’
"Yes, and here’s something else..." she continued the conversation. "I told him that this organization has its own tattoos; for example, the one I told him about has a tattoo depicting a snake biting its own tail. Likewise, the second one, which I didn’t tell him about, has dragonfly tattoos. They can be found using this information."
’This is very good information, especially if she only spoke about the snake biting its own tail, then I urgently need to find information about them.’
’Because my strike in that battle was too strong, it simply turned the killers to ash, but after that battle, Professor Valerian Sterling suddenly disappeared from our academy, which is already very strange. But if one assumes that she is part of those killers, then it can logically be said that she and Ruthless definitely had some kind of connection.’
"I see," Princess Celestia replied briefly and quickly, and continued to dig through and digest all this information she had received.
Whether because of the bathhouse or something else, it was very easy for her to reason; it was as if her body had relaxed and all the brain’s energy had gone toward reasoning, which helps find patterns and connect them.
’If that’s the case, then I need to start the investigation as soon as possible and destroy them all. This will be the first step toward my philosophy of freedom.’
"By the way, Lysandra, is there a person in a strange mask in the city of Syoga who calls himself Mr. Savior?" the princess asked.
Lysandra made a thoughtful face, as if trying to remember if such a fellow existed in the city of Syoga at all.
Because at that time she had been in complete shock and felt nothing at all but emptiness like a doll, and she couldn’t think at all: who is this person? Why does he have such a creepy mask?
Moreover, if it’s a guy and from the voice, one could tell he was a guy - then he is very weak, so how could he possibly be a savior?
"No, there is no such person in our city at all, or at least I don’t remember such a person ever existing," she replied with a surprised face.
’What?’
