Chapter 252: Spur of the moment (2)

Warning! Mature content.

Scarlet looked out the window at the clear sky. If they got out of bed soon, they could go for a walk around the house or nearby to do a bit of exploring. They still had a long time before dinner and while it was nice to be wrapped up in bed, Scarlet wanted to at least see a bit of the town on their first day.

It was still hard to believe that she had said yes to Ian. Since it was in the spur of the moment, there wasn’t a ring on her finger to make it feel even more real. Knowing Ian, Scarlet predicted it wouldn’t be long before there would be a ring.

Scarlet liked that there wasn’t a ring as it would just give away that they planned to wed and she wanted to keep this a secret. They didn’t need to rush in planning a wedding now that they were engaged. They could continue as they were now and have a wedding when they were ready.

"Ian, the room isn’t too cold for you to need to warm me up," Scarlet said, repeating his reasoning for why his hands cupped her breasts.

She had gotten used to his infatuation with touching her breasts but once he started to fondle them, she knew where this was going.

"You feel cold to me. What is on your mind?" Ian asked, kissing the back of her neck. "Are you hungry or want something to drink? I will be your servant during the trip."

"As lovely as that sounds, I am not ready to get out of bed and when I am, I want to go on a walk first. Are you close to anyone who lives nearby or did you keep to yourself when you were here?" Scarlet asked. Was there anyone who would be happy to see Ian back?

"There is someone I spoke to but they might not be here. Besides, I just want it to be the two of us during the time we are here. Would you like to have a picnic outside? We would need to go further into town to get more food. You can buy gifts to take back," said Ian. ƒrēewebnovel.com

"That- You!" Scarlet turned around, trying to look at the devious man behind her after he pressed his erect manhood on her back. "You cannot be eager to go again. Is there never a time when you are not in the mood?"

"Only when you are not near. You have said yes to marrying me. I cannot help wanting to touch you so just bear with me a little," Ian said, placing his hand under her leg to lift it to make room for him. ’I cannot get enough of you. If you are not careful, I might devour all of you."

"Did I agree to marry a man or a beast?" Scarlet wondered.

Still, she didn’t object to Ian penetrating her once more. Scarlet continued to lay on her side, letting Ian do the work since it was he who started this.

"I will try not to drink. I have lost count of how many times I have let you carry out the act to get me pregnant. I would rather be safe than sorry so I will give up my beloved drinks for now."

Ian laughed as she made it seem like she could not do without her wines. "I’m sure you will be fine without them. I will join you in not drinking if that will make you feel better."

Scarlet reached behind her to touch Ian, wanting him to slow down. Their current position wasn’t the greatest. "It would but some of your customers would like you to drink with them."

"I am not someone to give in to the pressure of others to drink. If it will make you happy, then I shall stop until you want to drink. You still hold back your voice. We’ll need to fix that by the time we leave."

Scarlet wished to ask Ian if he wanted her to be so loud that those travelling by his home could hear her but she was too preoccupied to ask.

Again, she was left trying to catch her breath after Ian enjoyed pleasing her.

"I will run a warm bath for you. You are deserving of a break. There is something I must urgently do while you rest," Ian said, kissing Scarlet’s cheek just before he rolled off the bed.

"Is it to get a ring? I don’t care to have you rush to find one. I can wait," Scarlet said.

This would be her second time getting married so Scarlet figured there wasn’t much to be done for her this time around. It was Ian who needed all the attention since this was his first wedding.

’Should I even wear a white dress or have a grand wedding?’ Scarlet wondered.

The rare group of people who remarried did something small instead of going all out like their first wedding.

Scarlet would prefer something small with just her family and friends around but with this being Ian’s first time, she would gladly say yes to whatever he wanted.

It was strange how quickly she had found someone who made her want to get remarried already.

Ian picked up his pants from the floor to get dressed and said, "I already failed to propose to you how I wanted. I need to get the ring to make it official. I won’t be long as I know where I can buy a good ring from. I should have had one made and put down. I wasn’t thinking ahead."

Scarlet left Ian since he still thought he had ruined the engagement. She enjoyed it since it was in the spur of the moment and came as a surprise to her. "I want to go for a walk. Isn’t it bad to leave me alone after just proposing to me? I have rings in my bags. We can pretend one is an engagement ring."

"I would like the ring that you give me to be one that you enjoyed picking out or had made. Not one that you had to rush to put on my hand. I can wait, Ian. It is only the two of us now and I want to keep this engagement between us for a moment if you don’t mind," Scarlet requested.

Her first engagement went public fast so Scarlet didn’t get to enjoy it as she wanted since the town was speaking of it so much. The second time around, Scarlet wanted to enjoy it with Ian first and then secretly share it with her family long before the town would know. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

"I will wait," Ian decided. He would prefer to have one made for her rather than to buy one made to go on just any hand. "Your bath. I will be quick with it," he said, heading toward the bathroom to prepare it for her.

Since there wasn’t a ring, he had to do what he could to make everything else special.
