Scarlet flinched when his hands moved up, not because he scared her, but due to how cold they felt against her warm skin. It didn’t take long for her back to be pressed against the door and Ian did his best to get her shirt off.
It would have been easier if he had allowed her to get undressed to wash up first but he was too impatient.
Scarlet shivered when her shirt fell and her skin was exposed to the cold air in the room. Ian had spent the previous night and today on her estate so no one had kept his room warm. Scarlet tried to ignore the coldness, but Ian noticed it.
He muttered something under his breath as he pulled away from her, going to the fireplace to bring some warmth to the room.
Scarlet laughed at how Ian was when he became frustrated. She covered her chest with her hands as she left the door. She had never seen someone be so quick to start a fire. His servants might receive an earful in the morning for not warming up his home as soon as he returned.
Scarlet took Ian’s distraction with the fire to look around the room. It was simple with only art decorating the walls.
’I’m sorry for the interruption. I should have told them to do this when we came here," Ian said, going behind Scarlet to hug her as he was finished with the fire. It had ruined the mood for a moment, but he would bring them back right where they left off.
"I wouldn’t have liked to freeze in your arms. Must you lift me?" Scarlet asked as once again she found herself in Ian’s arms.
"You have a man who is strong enough to lift you. Why not enjoy it?" Ian replied as he took her to the bathroom. While the room warmed up, they should make use of the warm water. "Aren’t I deserving of a reward for my efforts to save water?" freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
"Ian, you will never be able to make me fall for that. You only seek to join me to bathe. Try that trick on someone else," said Scarlet.
"You are the only person I have to try it on. Sit tight," Ian said, placing her on the counter which held the bathroom sink.
Scarlet noticed how his gaze lingered on her as something came to mind, but he left her side to get the water started. She had the perfect view as Ian pulled his shirt over his head. He was confident with himself to strip before her without a hint of embarrassment and stand naked before her.
Scarlet bit her lip. Seeing him naked from a slight distance, she perfectly understood why she acted without reason and just wanted to give in to what came to her mind.
She stared at his body even when Ian caught her looking. She couldn’t deny anymore that she liked looking at him. Wouldn’t ignoring a handsome man standing proud before her be rude?
Ian filled the tub halfway since the water would rise when the two entered. He returned to Scarlet’s side since he had left her alone long enough. "You don’t hide your interest in my body anymore. I am glad. Along with looking, it would do some good if you touched me as well."
Ian slowly took off her shoes and then moved to remove everything else in the way of what he wanted to see. Her things were dropped to the floor as they weren’t important right now.
Scarlet slid off the countertop once she was undressed. For his help to get her clothes off, he did deserve a treat. He was owed something since last night and she would gladly repay it now.
Scarlet placed her hand on his chest, pushing him back slightly to make more room for her to stand. She slid her hand up to go around the back of his neck and forced him to lean down so she wouldn’t have to tiptoe to kiss him.
From their closeness, his length ended up pressing against her belly. To ease how uncomfortable it had to be for him, Scarlet touched him with her right hand while the other remained around his neck.
It was muffled but she heard him either moan or say her name when her hand wrapped around him.
Scarlet smiled as he certainly did not have the slightest clue what she could do to him. While she admired his side of wanting to be certain he wasn’t doing something she didn’t like, he needed to lose his thought that she needed to confirm if he could do whatever was on his mind.
Sometimes, it wasn’t too bad to be taken by surprise when it came to intimacy. It was already established that she trusted he wouldn’t hurt her so he didn’t need to be cautious anymore. Besides, her thoughts might be equally as bad as his.
Intimacy had been a bore before Ian. Now that he woke up this side to her, he had to pay for it.

It was sweet music to his ears to hear her laugh as she enjoyed the way she made him right now. Ian was both excited and nervous. He had gotten a glimpse of another side of Scarlet yesterday, but he might be in for more of it now. Perhaps, more than he could handle.
"Ha," Ian licked his lips as Scarlet moved down until she was face to face with his length. This woman was going to be the death of him because of how she took him by surprise.
He knew from the smile which had not disappeared since she slid off the counter that she was up to some kind of trouble.
Ian leaned forward to place his hand on the mirror. He wanted the mirror to have been a little bit longer to show all of how they were. How Scarlet had her hands wrapped around him and how her tongue poked out of her mouth to taste him.
She teased him with her tongue, tasting him as her hand started to move at a slow pace at first. Scarlet soon ended her teasing by taking him into her mouth, trying to have as much of him as she could on the first try.
The sound of her moaning as though she enjoyed what she did now left him moving his hand to grip the side of the mirror.
