"So, you must be the Demon Sin of Greed, Mammon. That’s gotta be the ugliest outfit I’ve ever seen," I remarked tauntingly, as I approached him.
I asked Neo to send me and this Demon to a forest or anywhere with plenty of trees. He found a place in India, well away from any towns or villages, I’ll be able to fight without any concern here.
"A Werewolf, eh? Ah, you must be the one who can transform into a Crimson Werewolf...perfect, your pelt will make a nice addition to my ensemble," Smirked the Demon in response.
He had shortish green hair, and red eyes, was about average height and pretty fat. He had two rows of six short, stubby horns on either side of his head, bat-like black wings on his back, and a short and thick tail. fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
He was wearing a glossy black tracksuit with shiny white stripes, had gaudy gold chains around around his neck and on his wrists, with garish, tacky rings on each of his fingers.
He also wore ugly golden shoes that had twirly ends by the toes...is that outfit supposed to be a joke or something? Like, is he wearing all that tacky crap to distract his opponent and give himself an edge?
"Sure you don’t want to change into a better outfit before we begin? I mean, do you really want to die looking like that?" I scoffed in response.
"Oh, please, you’re just jealous of all my bling, you wish you could look as good as I do," He laughed arrogantly.
Wow...he really means that, he actually thinks that he looks good. Fine, whatever, let’s just get this over with. I then unleashed my Crimson Werewolf form, my power surging as my fur turned red, before I crouched down low as he charged up a Negative Blast.
As he fired it at me, I shot forward, leaping over the blast and zooming in towards him at top speed. His eyes widened as he closed in, reaching out to try and touch my head...I won’t let him, he’s not going to be able to use his Plunder technique on me.
I swiftly slashed off his arms around the elbows before he could react and then slammed my foot onto his torso, sending him flying back and crashing onto a tree, which cracked at the point of impact and began to fall as he coughed out blood.
He’s quite a bit slower than the Demons of Sin I’ve previously encountered, his reaction time especially. He might even be slower than the Fiend I faced...no, he’s probably putting on an act to try and get me to underestimate him.
There’s no way a Demon of Sin could be this slow...he’s likely planning to get me to drop my guard and then touch me over one of my vital spots, before using Plunder to kill me.
I zipped towards him at top speed, making sure to stay alert for any sudden increases in speed from him...he grimaced as he sent a wave of earth spikes bursting out towards me as his arms grew back, before I unleashed powerful slashing waves from my claws to break them apart.
He began to fly up while charging up a water attack, before I burst out a powerful howl from my jaws after a quick, sharp exhale, knocking him off balance and starting to plummet as he seemingly lost control of his flight.
Man, he’s really trying to get me to underestimate him, isn’t he? It looks like he’s got several openings I can exploit, but most of them are probably deliberate, to draw me in so that he can launch a counterattack.
I sprang up towards him, making sure to stay out of the range of his hands, grabbing his right ankle and swinging him down towards the ground with all my strength.
He slammed onto the group with a choked gasp, before I charged up my claws, swinging them out rapidly as they began to glow and I started to fall back down.
He tried to scramble back onto his feet in alarm, grimacing as I slashed off his arms by the shoulders before he could get up, before I slammed my feet onto his chest as I closed in on him, a loud crunch echoing out as I broke his ribs.
I then swiftly slammed my foot onto his face a couple of times, breaking his nose and a few teeth before springing away as his arms had almost fully grown back again. He got back up with a groan, wiping away the blood that had gushed out of his nose and mouth.
"Y-you damned mutt, you are ruining my outfit!" He exclaimed furiously, as he charged up a massive Negative Blast.
I unleashed a wide, powerful vertical slash with an upward swing of my claws as the blast closed in on me, slicing it in half and both halves flying past me on either side, before he flew in towards me while firing out several earth projectiles and with water blades around each hand.
Uh...huh? Wait, hold on, is this actually how strong and fast he is? He isn’t holding back to try and decieve me? How...how the hell is this guy a Demon of Sin? Man, what a waste...I should’ve been sent to fight a stronger Demon, this guy’s a complete joke.
I blasted away his earth projectiles with a sharp howl, before I shot towards him. I sprang up and over him as he slashed both his water blades out at me, landing behind him before I reached for the back of my belt and grabbed the light energy cannister I’d been given.
I tore open his back with my claws before driving the cannister into his body and pulled the pin, eliciting an agonized screech from his as it exploded and flooded his body with light energy.
"What the fuck? Are you really a Demon of Sin?" I inquired in bemusement.
Hm...well, I suppose he’d be a tough opponent against anyone besides myself and Aurora, especially with that Plunder ability of his. But since he’s too slow to touch me, he can’t use that ability, which means he’s no threat to me.
Especially now that he’s been weakened with light energy...seriously, what a joke this guy turned out to be, he’s so incredibly, unbelievably weak.
"Wh-why, you-...!?" He began to snap, before I swiftly decapitated him with a swift swipe of my claws.
His head hit the ground with a thud and rolled away, as his body slumped. I destroyed his head to pierces as I unleashed a barrage of slashes, before swiftly slicing at his neck against as it began to grow back.
His regeneration has slowed significantly thanks to the light energy bomb, I’ll just keep tearing him apart until I hit his core and kill him. I then tore of his arms and sliced them to pieces as well, before doing the same to his legs.
All that was left of him now was just his torso, as I continuing slashing at the stumps where his head and limbs used to be to keep him from regenerating.
Hm, was this guy really this weak, or have I just gotten that much stronger? I couldn’t quite go all out before since I was half focused on protecting the twins, maybe that’s why the Fiend I fought was more challenging than this guy turned out to be.
Well, either way, he’s as good as dead now, I just need to deliver the finishing blow. As I tore apart what was left of his body with rapid slashes of my claws, a cracking sound soon echoed out, before his body began to disintegrate.
Nice, I hit his core, that takes care of that. Wow, that was easy. Hope the others are having just as easy a time as I just did over here...but except for Aurora, I doubt that’s the case.
"Hey, Neo, are you watching? If you are, send me to one of the others if any of them need help!" I called out...he did say that he’d be trying to observe all the fights, so hopefully he saw this.
A smile then spread out on my face as a portal began to open to my left-...suddenly, it began to lose its shape, looking unstable, before shrinking and closing up again.
Ah, crap, looks like he doesn’t have the strength to open a portal right now...well, I did finish this in just a few minutes, so he’s hardly had any time to recover.
Hm, I don’t think it’s just because he’s in a weakened state...when he enveloped the entire world with his own dimension and transported so many of us and the Demons from all over, it must have taken a toll on him.
Whatever the case may be, the fact is that he’s struggling right now...there’s nothing I can do but wait till he regains some of his strength, I’ll just have to bide my time until then...
