Damn it, this sucks...just as I’d managed to start fighting back and had him on the ropes, that stupid shockwave knocked me off balance and now he’s got me at his mercy.
"It is time to finally put you down, you miserable mutt," Remarked Lucifer, his foot on my chest, pinning me to the ground.
My right arm is severely broken, and there’s several deep cuts and gashes all over me, along with numerous severe burns...he’s taking his time cutting into me using water and wind slashes, and burning me with sparks of fire.
But it looks like he’s done messing around torturing me, he’s ready to kill me now. I really messed up...I thought I could take him since I know how he fights. And I have been reading all his moves, but without the full moon, I’m just not fast enough to react to them in time.
Not to mention that, last time, I had Aurora fighting him alongside me...aw, man, I really don’t wanna die here. But, hey, if I am going to die, I might as well be cool about it...
"Go right ahead and give me your best shot, asshole. Act all high and mighty if you want, but we both know that you must be relieved right now...a single ’miserable mutt’ nearly beat the shit out of you, after all," I scoffed with a smirk.
"How delusional. The likes of you could never defeat me. Now, die-...hm?" He began as he formed a swirling blast of black flames, before glancing up as a massive Aura was unleashed around the area.
Holy-...what the heck!? Based on his bewildered expression, this isn’t a Demon...no, even setting his reaction aside, this feels too different.
And it’s not a Meta-Human either, certainly not a Werewolf. What is this...?
"Who dares interrupt my slumber? And why do I sense the vile presences of Demons and Monsters in my vicinity!?" Came a loud, booming voice, echoing across the area.
I shifted my gaze over to the direction the voice came from, narrowing my eyes to sharpen my vision...uh, what am I looking at?
A cat...person? It was covered in beautiful raven black fur, had sharp yellow eyes, wore flowing, silky black clothes that were kinda see-through, and was adorned with gold chains and black jewels.
Lucifer then took his foot off me as he flew up towards the cat person, seeming to have lost all interest in me. As he reached the cat person, who seemed to be standing on the air, he addressed it with a tone of condescension...
"This does not concern you, creature, you-...!" He was cut off as the cat person suddenly zipped towards him and tore him in half before he could react, its claws ripping through his waist and splitting his body apart.
Woah. Holy shit.
"The only place for a Demon is beneath me. It would appear that my identity escapes all of you. You would know me as Bastet, the Deity of Protection and Healing. Now, I shall ask again...who dares interrupt my slumber!?" Exclaimed the cat person, as the two halves of Lucifer’s body crashed onto the ground, blood pouring out as his top half crawled towards his bottom half with an enraged look in his eyes.
Wait, Bastet? Isn’t that an Egyptian God or something like that? Also, if I remember right, Bastet is supposed to be female...that voice sure sounds male though.
"Hey, you good?" Suddenly came Inoka’s voice, as I felt my wounds closing up and healing.
"I am now. Thanks, dude, I thought I was done for," I replied with a wry smile.
"I wouldn’t thank me yet...things may have just gotten a whole lot worse," He responded with a grimace, as he stared up at Bastet warily...

Huh, wow...a Deity showing up was a possibility I didn’t even consider. Interesting...but also, way to steal my freaking thunder, damn it!
How the hell am I supposed to do an awesome, mind-blowing face reveal now, huh!? No one’s gonna care! Also, is Dracula dead or what? It’s unlikely, but not impossible that he got crushed to the point where he can’t regenerate.
Both Beelzebub and Asmodeus have been taken out of the equation, and Lucifer’s healing himself, but I doubt he can handle a Deity.
Alright, you know what, I’m not changing my plan just because a few things have gone wrong. In fact, I think I can integrate this into my plan...I reached into my pocket and tapped on my phone, sending Glenn the signal.
A portal then opened up beneath me and I dropped into it, emerging up in the sky, where Glenn was located, poking his head out of a pocket dimension. He had my Anarchy outfit with him, the mask and the cloak. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
"Are we retreating now or what?" He inquired, as I took out my Anarchy mask and put it on.
"What do you think? Send me down there, to the remaining bottom half of the pyramid Neo sliced, make it a big portal, so that I’ll get everyone’s attention," I responded, as I put on my cloak.
"Alright, fine. Should I portal you away if it looks like you’re about to die?" He asked with a sigh.
"Well, yeah, I don’t want to die."
He then opened up a portal for me, I jumped into it as a large, connected portal appeared by the severed pyramid and I stepped out of it, hopping onto the edge of the half-pyramid as I blasted out bright streaks of lightning to get everyone’s attention.
"Hey, there, everyone! How’s it going? Having fun? I-...," I began to address them, before trailing off as Bastet suddenly appeared right in front of me, "Oh, uh...hi, what’s up?"
"Was it you who disturbed my slumber?" Came the suspicious inquiry, with narrower eyes.
"Question real quick, are you male or female?" I asked curiously.
"I do not see how that is relevant, but I am male," Came the response.
"Huh...history regards you as female, though."
"Does it, now?" He replied indifferently, before I felt the tip of his claws pressing against my neck, "Answer my question, I shall not ask again...was it you who woke me up, was it you who desecrated this place?"
Okay, I was planning on acting like this was all a part of my plan, but, uh...he’s definitely gonna kill me if I say that, and I certainly don’t stand a chance against him, so let’s play it safe instead.
"Nope, I just orchestrated this battle, I had no idea you were here," I replied honestly.
"I see. Now, then...get off my pyramid," He remarked icily, as he swung the back of his hand towards me.
Oh, crap, that’s way too fast, I can’t dodge this!
I felt a powerful force strike my mask, sending me flying across towards the ground at a breakneck speed...I quickly formed a pool of water ahead of myself to break the fall and slow myself down.
As I splashed through it, I hit the ground with a thud, cracks spreading out across my mask as I sat up with a groan...that could’ve been bad if I didn’t form that mass of water to absorb some of my momentum.
The cracks in my mask deepened further as I stood up, before shattering as a trickle of blood ran down the side of my forehead. Ow, that kinda stings. Good thing I can heal myself.
"No...no way. It can’t be you...," Came Neo’s voice, with a tone of disbelief and denial.
Aw, man, so much for a dramatic face reveal...that stupid cat really did steal my thunder, damn it!
Looks like Lucifer’s flying up to take another crack at him, that’s probably not gonna end well for him. And all the remaining Monsters retreated when Bastet unleashed his Aura. Most of the Chaos members I brought in as back up have been killed too. This really sucks.
"Yeah, it’s me, I’m Anarchy...surprise," I sighed half-heartedly, as Lucifer got sent zipping down and crashing onto the ground again, Bastet swooping down towards him and stomping on his head, crushing it disdainfully.
"I still have not gotten an answer...tell me who destroyed the pyramid, or every last one of you will die," Remarked Bastet, as he stomped on the ground with immense force.
"I’ll deal with you later," Neo frowned at me, before turning to the Deity, "It was me. I did that to the pyramid."
"Hm...then you must die," Came the response, as Bastet shot towards him with his claws poised to strike, right as Aurora zipped in between them and grabbed the Deity’s wrist just in time, his claws having started to pierce through Neo’s chest.
Deal with...deal with me later? I’m just an afterthought? Wow...this day really sucks, I wanna go home...
