"Hey, long time, no see," I greeted Lucifer with a taunting smirk.
"Tch, you again...you will die this time, I will make sure of it," He growled in response, his bloodlust palpable.
"Hey, remember me?" Added Inoka with a wave.
"Indeed, I do...I shall crush you, as well," Replied Lucifer, with a dark look in his eyes.
Hm...he seems to be a lot more aggressive and murderous towards Inoka.
"Hey, I’ve got this guy, I can handle him...go help one of Neo or Mike’s group," I instructed Inoka, as I glanced at them, to see that they were struggling.
"You sure?" He responded hesitantly.
"Yeah, I’m sure. Go."
"Do not get cocky, you damned mutt. You cannot defeat me," Remarked Lucifer icily, as Inoka left.
"Oh, yeah? Let’s see about that, shall we?" I responded with a smirk, as I fired out slashes at him from my claws.
He swiftly flew up to avoid it, before swooping down towards me with a dark look in his eyes. I zipped across, weaving through the crowd at top speed, striking down a Monster that came across my path, as I headed for a clear spot.
If I’m to fight someone as strong as Lucifer, I can’t afford to hold back at all, especially since I’m not a hundred percent at full power, as tonight isn’t a full moon.
Therefore I have to get clear of everyone else, otherwise I could wind up injuring someone who’s on my side by accident.
"Enough running away, you mutt!" Snapped Lucifer, as he blasted out black flames at me.
I sharply inhaled and fired out a powerful howling blast from my jaws, blowing his flames right back towards him with the sheer force of my attack.
As he narrowly evaded the flames in alarm, he let out a growl as he began to raise his palm in my direction, I swiftly raced across in response, avoiding getting caught in his telekinesis, while charging Aura into my claws as much as possible.
Suddenly, as my knees collapsed onto the sand as the gravity drastically increased, he caught me in his telekinesis and began to rapidly pull me in towards him.
As I began to close in on him, I strained my arms as much as possible and swung them in his direction as fast as I could in this increased gravity field, firing out rapid, powerful slashing waves towards him.
He was too close to evade, his eyes widening as he began to fly away, before grimacing in pain as several deep gashes burst out across his torso upon impact, his left arm getting severed from halfway across his forearm.
His gravity field then faded, freeing me up as his telekinetic hold over me broke as well. He was just barely within my reach, and before he could fly away, I managed to grab hold of his left ankle and then swung him down at the ground with all my strength.
He slammed onto the sand with immense force, deeply sinking into it upon impact as he kicked up a dense cloud of sand, a dazed look on his face as he’d struck the ground headfirst.
I balled my fists together as I began to plummet down, raising them up high. And as I closed in on him and the ground, I swung my fists down with all the strength and momentum I could generate, inadvertently letting out a grunt of exertion.
He began to raise his palm towards me in alarm, but he was too slow, as my fists slammed onto his face with a devastating impact, smashing it in as blood burst out and splattered all over the sand.
I then swiftly raised my fists again and slammed them onto his face again, before driving my claws deep into his neck and giving it a violent pull, tearing off his head and tossing it away.
As his body went limp, I scooted down and unleashed a barrage of rapid punches onto his torso, battering it severely as I felt his bones crack deeper and deeper with every strike.
I then began tearing his body apart wildly as I allowed myself to sink into my instincts, ferally ripping out chunks of his flesh with my claws...I need to find his core and destroy it, otherwise all this would accomplish is totally piss him off!
Suddenly, a powerful telekinetic shockwave burst out from him, sending me flying back and skidding along the sand before coming to a halt as I jammed my claws into the sand.
Damn it, it’s just like last time...decapitating him isn’t enough to fully incapacitate him. Is it a reflex response or something?
No time to worry about it, his face is already starting to grow back, I need to slice it off before his brain grows back, or I’ll be back at square one!
I shot towards him at top speed, his head more than halfway regenerated...damn it, I’m not gonna make it, I need to hurry!
As I closed in on him and leapt towards him at top speed with my claws poised to decapitate him, I swung them across at his neck...but I was too late, as his hand suddenly shot up and grabbed me by the throat, before he swiftly spun around and slammed me onto the sand, his eyes having grown back with a look of pure rage on his face.
Uh-oh...he doesn’t look very happy. This, uh...this might be bad...

"Use your Nullification, I can take him with hand to hand combat," Kiyana said to me, as she shot towards Neo’s brother, Lance Cronje.
"Sure, got it," I nodded in response.
I should stay back, I’ll only get in her way otherwise, her hand to hand combat is on a higher level than mine is. I’ll back her up with my daggers instead.
"Tch, get out of my way, I’m only here to kill Neo, I don’t have time to waste on the likes of you!" He snapped, as he spotted her rushing in towards him.
As she closed in on him, he raised his hand, before his eyes widened in alarm as I activated my Nullification, blocking his Aura. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
He then ducked back as Kiyana closed in on him and leapt forward, driving a flying kick towards his face.
Her heel grazed the tip of his nose as he just barely avoided it, before she slammed her elbow down towards his face as she flew past him. He quickly raised his hands and managed to blunt the elbow strike with his palms, but the backs of his hands hit his face as he failed to fully absorb the force of her strike.
As she landed, she dug her fists into the sand to avoid skidding away, before redirecting her momentum into a sweep kick and striking his ankles, knocking him over.
He fell onto the ground on his right shoulder, before quickly rolling away and springing back onto his feet, letting out a surprised cry of pain as I flung a dagger at him, which pierced into his lower back on the left side.
Kiyana then shot towards him, ducking as he swiped his right arm at her, before striking his midsection with a short-arm jab, sending him stumbling back with a grimace.
She then went low and rapidly drove her foot straight up towards him, striking him square on the chin before he could react, knocking him onto his back as he landed on the sand with a thud.
She then sprang onto him and slammed her fist onto his face like a hammer, breaking his nose and knocking him out.
Damn...from what I heard, this guy gave Neo a run for his money during the battle at the Lotus Tower in Sri Lanka, but Kiyana beat him easily, that was so one-sided.
I mean, Neo probably went easy on him due to the mixed feelings of having to fight his own brother, but still. Kiyana didn’t even give him a moment to regain his bearings.
Her hand to hand combat ability is seriously impressive, I doubt there’s many Meta-Humans who can beat her without the use of their Skills. It’s kinda terrifying, not gonna lie.
I then spotted an Eden member zipping towards her with a sword, I swiftly flung a couple of daggers at him in response, one piercing through the side of his neck and the other through the side of his head.
"Thanks for the cover," Remarked Kiyana, as she walked over, dragging Lance’s unconscious body behind her.
"Don’t mention it. So, uh, I guess we’re not gonna kill him?" I asked her, nodding at Lance.
"No, I think we should leave it to Neo. It is his brother, after all," She pointed out in response, before adding as a few Monsters surrounded us, "Let’s deal with these things. Hold them off for a bit and undo your Nullification, I’ll restrain him with my Terra Skill in case he wakes up while we’re fighting."
"Sure, leave it to me," I nodded, but right as I undid my Nullification, a portal suddenly opened up and swallowed up Lance before I could activate it again, closing up as he fell into it, "Crap, no!"
"Damn it, it looks like Chaos’s portal user is watching from somewhere," Frowned Kiyana grimly.
"Yeah, but we don’t exactly have the luxury of worrying about that right now," I sighed, as a Goblin sprang at me with a snarl.
I evaded the slash of its claws and swiftly decapitated it with a dagger, before ducking as a Firefox, a fox Monster that, as the name suggests, can breathe fire, leapt at me, slicing open its stomach as it flew past me.
A Cyclops then loomed over me, a one-eyed Monster with sharp claws and teeth, viciously drooling, before a spear made of sand pierced through its eye and burst out the back of his head.
"These are all mostly Common Tier Monsters...there’s a lot of them, but they’re easy enough to take out," Surmised Kiyana, as a Goblin sprang at her, and she swiftly raised her leg up high before swinging it down like a pendulum, striking its head and smashing its skull in as she slammed it onto the ground.
Damn, she’s a fucking badass. I can’t let her outshine me too much though...alright, let’s do this!
