"Alright, this’ll be our initial squad, and then, depending on the situation, we’ll bring in more back up if necessary," I remarked, before glancing at the time...we should probably leave soon.
The initial response team was made up of thirty-two members, and besides me, included Inoka, Aurora, Fenris, Liling, Kiyana, Mike, X, Elise, Maeve, Leonardo and Richard, plus twenty other Category 1s and 2s.
As for the back up, they consisted of five different groups, each with two hundred 1s and 2s, a total of thousand potential back up members. Depending on the severity of the situation once we arrive, I’ll bring in the necessary number of those groups.
The ideal situation will be that I don’t even need to bring in one of those back up groups, but I fully expect that we’ll need to call in all thousand of those assigned to the five groups, if the worst comes to pass.
"So, what exactly is the plan here? We just attack and kill anyone who shows up?" Spoke up Inoka curiously.
"Well, pretty much, yeah. Just...prepare for the worst, I guess," I sighed in response.
"Pardon, what exactly is the ’worst’ though?" Inquired Elise warily.
"Let’s see...thousands of Monsters, several Demons, Dracula, a large number of Chaos’ members, and members of the back up teams turning out to be traitors for Chaos," I surmised grimly.
"Oh, wow, is that all?" Responded Maeve sarcastically.
"We’ll need to adapt to whatever situation we come across, and we’ll also need to keep each other informed...that’s where the earpiece communicators come in," I replied, as I tapped on my earpiece.
"Do I have to wear one too? It’s kinda messing with my hearing," Frowned Aurora, looking a bit uncomfortable as she adjusted its position on her ear.
"I’m afraid you do, if any Demons show up during the middle of the battle, especially a Demon of Sin, we’ll need to contact you," I pointed out in response.
"Hey, what about me? My ears aren’t the right shape for this, it keeps falling off," Spoke up Fenris, as his wolf ears twitched. free𝑤ebnovel.com
"When you fully retract your tail and ears, you grow out normal human-like ears, right? Can’t you maintain those ears while in your full Werewolf form?" I inquired in response.
"You mean maintain two sets of ears, or to maintain the human-like ears while suppressing the wolf-like ears? Because either case is impossible," He informed me.
"Hm...alright, in that case, pair up with Inoka, he can relay any messages that need to get to you," I suggested after mulling it over.
"Sounds good to me, I’d rather like to avoid the possibility of ending up face to face with a Demon or Dracula while I’m by myself," Remarked Inoka sheepishly.
"I’m fine with that, and I’m certainly not going to complain about having a healer to watch my back," Grinned Fenris, as he fist-bumped Inoka.
"Not just any healer, possibly the greatest healer to ever exist," Smirked Inoka in response.
I mean, he’s definitely not wrong about that, but it’s kinda weird to hear him say that about himself.
"Anyway, we’ll all have to move as the situation dictates...there’s no point in planning it all out too much, all it could take is one unexpected element to disrupt it all. In other words, we’ll have to be adaptive and proactive, and if things go south, reactive. Anyone got anything else to add? Because if not, I think it’s time we head out there," I stated, deciding that it was time.
"I have something to add...if it turns out that there are a ton of Monsters in addition to members of Chaos and Hell, leave the Monsters to me...I’ll unleash my Aura and draw them towards me, and then kill them all.
If there are any powerful Demons, Fenris will have to handle them until I’m done with the Monsters," Said Aurora, after a brief pause, before turning to Fenris, "Think you can handle that?"
"Totally! Well, it’ll depend on how many there are, but so long as there aren’t multiple Demons at Lucifer’s level, I should at least be able to buy some time," He replied with a thumbs up.
"Not to question you, but are you sure your Aura alone will be enough to draw all the Monsters in the vicinity to you? There might be Eden members who will have their Auras unleashed too," Chimed in Leonardo skeptically. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
"It should be fine...the only ones with Aura capacities comparable to mine are Dracula and the Demons of Sin, but Monsters only target Meta-Humans and Demi-Humans," She pointed out in response.
"Yeah, and you can’t spell Aurora without Aura!" Added Fenris with a grin.
"...that was unnecessary," She sighed in exasperation.
"I thought it was pretty good," Shrugged Inoka, giving Fenris a fist bump with a grin.
Hm...if we really are up against some large force, it’ll be tough without Aurora, but...if she can remove any and all Monsters from the equation, that’ll make a huge difference. However...
"We’ll go with that for now, but only if there aren’t more than one Demon of Sin. If there are more than one, then we’ll have to bring in back up and have them deal with the Monsters instead," I reasoned, after considering it.
"Assuming that we do use unleashed Auras to draw the Monsters in and keep them from spreading out too much, and there are still others from Chaos who have their Auras unleashed, won’t that only continue to attract more Monsters out regardless?" Pointed out X.
"No need to worry about that...I’ll pair up with one of you, and I’ll go after any unknown Auras my partner senses and then kill the ones unleashing them," I surmised in response.
"Shall I pair up with you? It could be dangerous, the enemy’s aware of what you can do, so it could end up being a trap. A healer could be useful," Suggested Liling, as she volunteered.
"No, I rarely ever need healing on missions, we need to make sure our healers are properly positioned as efficiently as possibly," I surmised in response, before looking around at everyone, "Alright, then...let’s get going, shall we?"

"Should be any minute now...," I mused as stared at my watch, wiping away a bead of sweat with a sigh.
I was currently standing by one of the pyramids, waiting. A few others were here with me too, Afro, Dracula, Rasputin, Lance, and one of our newest members, Arisu Kimura, a Category 0 formerly of Eden.
"So, hey, how old are you, anyway?" She asked Dracula curiously.
She’d been pretty wary of him at first, but since he’s generally pretty chill outside of when he’s murdering religious fanatics and fighting, she seems to have relaxed around him. I have to admit, she’s fitting in better than I thought she would.
"Hm? Oh, uh...I lost count a long time ago," He replied with a shrug.
"I suppose that makes sense...I’ve also been wondering another thing, would you say you’ve changed with the times, or are you the same as you are now? Like, way before, stuff like rape and slavery were normal, did you do any of that stuff?" She inquired with a look of intrigue.
Oh, wow, she isn’t holding back at all.
"Ooh, I kinda wanna know the answer to that too!" Grinned Afro curiously.
I have to admit, I’m kinda curious about it myself...
"No...well, I did own slaves a few centuries ago, but I have never raped anyone," He answered in response.
"Have you drank someone’s blood without consent though?" Asked Afro with a smirk.
"Er, well...yes."
"I don’t think that’s the same thing...I mean, when you kill someone, it’s not like you ask for their consent first," Pointed out Arisu.
"Yeah, I guess that’s true...but, like, in most movies and stuff, Vampires drinking blood is often shown as, like, a super sexual thing, so I was wondering if it’s like that in real life too," Laughed Afro sheepishly.
"Hm...when drinking blood, a Vampire’s fangs inject something into the target’s bloodstream that acts like an aphrodisiac effect, which makes it more difficult for them to resist and fight back, so I suppose I cannot exactly deny that there is no sexual element to it," Admitted Dracula, starting to look a tiny bit uncomfortable.
"You know, what...I kinda wanna know what that feels like! I mean, my name is Afro D. Ziac, after all!" He chuckled in response, before adding, "No homo."
Okay, this is starting to get weird now.
"Er, maybe some other time," Dracula shook his head, denying the request.
My phone then buzzed, and as I took it out an glanced at the screen...
"Alright, guys, that’s enough messing around. Harmony will be here soon. It’s time to call them in," I sighed reluctantly, as I took in a deep breath to focus, before slowly exhaling, "Here goes nothing...Space Skill: Summoning Contract...[Lucifer, Beelzebub, Asmodeus]!"
