"Alright, Lucy-...fer, go ahead and get started, our guests will be here soon, so let’s get this party underway," I smirked in anticipation.
"Tch, did you just-...hmph, very well," He grumbled, looking irritated, before swooping down from atop the Lotus Tower, blasting out black fireballs at the people below, screams starting to ring out.
"What’s got him so annoyed?" I wondered, as I peered over to get a look at the carnage he was creating.
"Uh, I think it’s because you almost called him Lucy again," Remarked Glenn in response.
"Nahh, I covered it up perfectly in time," I replied with a dismissive wave of my hand, before glancing at Lance, "Hope this isn’t too much for you, seeing innocent people die like this." freewebnovel.cσ๓
"Whatever. I couldn’t care less," He muttered indifferently, looking disinterested.
He used to be such a kind-hearted guy, guess the experience of his older brother killing his wife and infant child didn’t sit well with him. Who’d have thought.
"Hey, can I get in on the action yet? Come on!" Complained Afro impatiently.
"Let’s wait till Neo gets here with his backup...all ten of the lackeys are in place to launch an attack on the Eden members, I told them to wait till Harmony arrives on the scene before springing into action," I replied, as I watched Lucifer massacre the panicking crowd below, draining some of them of their life forces.
How delightfully chaotic. All those people were probably relaxing and enjoying themselves, and now, they’re possibly experiencing the greatest despair they’ve ever felt. It’s so-...huh?
What just happened?
Lucifer...he just got sent flying and crashing onto the side of the tower. Someone suddenly leapt up and kicked him. Looks like a young man, with raven black hair. Who is that? Whoever he is, he’s strong...and he has an incredibly immense Aura.
"Hey, who’s that? Someone else you invited to this?" Inquired Afro with a fascinated look on his face.
"No, I have no idea who that is...but I’m not complaining, there’s nothing more boring than predictability. Let’s see how this unknown element spices things up, shall we?" I smirked in excitement.
Hm, the color of his hair isn’t quite right for one, but it could be dyed, so...could he be a Werewolf? But a lone Werewolf is extremely rare, almost unheard of, and what’s more...this guy’s Aura looks almost as intense as Aurora’s.
If he is a Werewolf, then...he’s in luck, it’s a full moon tonight. Still, just who exactly is he, anyway? Oh, I should probably give Neo a call now, before Lucy has done too much damage...

Point-of-View: Fenris Hunt

Damn it, this is what I get for going out in public. I should have just stayed indoors as usual. I shouldn’t have given in to my boredom.
My name’s Fenris Hunt, and I’m a Werewolf. I was born in Italy, but was an outcast in my pack because I was different. I was much, much more powerful than anyone else in my pack, and I kept breaking their rules because I couldn’t contain my curiosity. Also, unlike the others, who all had varying shades of grey hair, mine was as black as could be.
My old pack lived on a mountain in Italy, with absolutely no human contact, so they were afraid that I might end up exposing their existence, so I was pretty much kicked out. Which was fine by me, I never really felt whatever sense of kinship they all seemed to have with each other.
Werewolves don’t usually have the concept of last names, but when I used my Hynosis power to get myself legal documents in order to live among humans, I had to come up with a last name, and I picked Hunt, because I enjoy hunting. I know, it’s kinda on the nose, but who cares?
Learning about the world was quite an eye-opening experience, and modern technology fascinated me. I relied on my Hynosis a lot to get by, but in my defense, I didn’t exactly have any money or anything to sustain myself with. It was pretty insane how much more comfortable human housing is compared to living out in the wild.
I didn’t want to ever meet any other Werewolves ever again, so I decided to move to a country where they weren’t known to exist. And I ended up picking this place, Sri Lanka.
That was eight years ago, when I was fifteen. I used my Hypnosis to open a bank account and had them transfer a ton of money into that account, and I’ve been living off that ever since.
I rented an apartment room to stay in, where I spend most of my time, but I also regularly headed out into forests and woods, to let off steam and work off any excess energy, as well as to stay in shape in case I’m ever in a situation where I need to fight.
The last year or so has been wild...Meta-Humans have turned the world on its head, and I gotta say, it’s been wildly entertaining to watch it all play out.
I’ve made a point of avoiding interacting with people too much, and I haven’t really gotten close to anyone either, since I didn’t want anyone finding out that I’m a Werewolf, so I’ve tended to avoid crowded public areas. If a Meta-Humans spots me and sees my Aura, that’ll give me away.
But...it’s been kinda lonely and boring to live like that, and with people starting to acknowledge and accept the existence of Meta-Humans, the temptation to go out in public only kept growing stronger.
I had been a bit concerned about all the recent attacks across the world, first the legendary Vampire, Dracula, and then the equally legendary Fallen Angel, Lucifer.
But, then, I figured there’d be no way they’d bother attacking a small island nation like this one, and that I was just worrying over nothing.
And so, here I am, at the Lotus Tower, which was quite a spectacular sight...and then, of course, not even five minutes after I got here, who should show up, but Lucifer himself.
After I got done being preoccupied with cursing my rotten luck, I noticed that he was killing everyone in sight. As he set his sights on a young boy, I found myself springing into action and kicking him away, before using my Hynosis power to get as many people to leave this area as fast as possible.
There’s not much I can do about the people inside the tower though, they’re probably safer hiding in there than coming out into the open and trying to run away. Not that the tower is a safe place to be right now, not by any stretch of the imagination.
Well, if nothing else, at least it’s a full moon tonight, it’s currently 8 PM here, and it’s a clear night sky, with the moon fully visible. Which means I’m working at a hundred percent right now. Not sure that’s gonna be enough against this guy, though.
As Lucifer emerged from the tower, a glare on his face as he fixed his gaze upon me, he leapt out and rapidly swooped down at me. Damn, he’s fast!
I narrowly evaded as he closed in on me and attempted to grab my neck, before I swiftly backed away and got some distance. Suddenly, my knees buckled as it felt like the gravity abruptly spiked in intensity, Lucifer forming a black fireball with a disdainful look on his face.
Before he could fire it, I inhaled deeply and blasted out a powerful, deafening howl in his direction, the gravity returning to normal as he quickly flew up into the air and evaded my noise blast.
Okay, there’s no way I can take him on in my current state. Time to transform. My human ears melded into my head as my wolf ears formed and extended out, along with my tail, as dark grey fur sprouted across my body, my face extending forward into a snout as my teeth sharpened into fangs.
I then bent my knees and leapt right up into the air at him, his eyes widening as I closed in on him in an instant, just barely dodging as I drove my claws towards his head, grazing his cheek and the top of his right ear.
I swiftly blocked with my palms as he drove his knee up towards my midsection, which slammed onto my hands instead, as I blunted his strike, wincing as the impact traveled through my arms and rattled my bones. So heavy, damn...
He then moved his palm in front of my chest with a look of contempt, as I suddenly felt an intense force hit me and send me rapidly zipping down and plunging into the nearby lake with a loud splash, my back hitting the floor of the lake with a thud.
Damn...if I’d landed on solid ground, I would definitely have broken something just now. Sure, it probably wouldn’t have been beyond what I’m capable of healing, but it definitely would’ve hurt a lot.
What am I doing? Why am I fighting someone like him? I should just retreat while I still can. Yeah, I should-...hm? Is it just me, or is the water starting to get hotter?
Like, really quickly too. Uh-oh...he’s blasting flames onto the water, isn’t he? I don’t want to get boiled to death, and that aside, I can’t hold my breath for much longer.
I swam up as fast as I could, leaping out of the water as I reached the surface, my eyes widening as I spotted an incoming black fireball, before quickly canceling it out with a swift, sharp howl, dissipating it just in time.
But from behind the dissipating flames, was Lucifer, rapidly zipping in towards me, grabbing my collar as he closed in on me and flinging me away with a rapid swing of his arm, sending my flying through the air at a breakneck speed and crashing onto a van painfully, which got sent skidding back with a screech and slamming onto a lamp post.
Ow, my back is all cut up from the broken glass...that really stings, damn it.
I grimaced as I spotted him flying in towards me at an alarming speed, closing in rapidly...he’s super fast, a lot faster than I am, but...I’ve got a feel for his timing.
Wait for it...wait for it...now! The instant he got within range, I planted my palms on the ground, braced my back, and then swung my right foot straight up as hard as I could.
My timing was perfect, as my foot slammed onto the middle of his torso and burst through his back, tearing a hole through his midsection, as he let out a sharp gasp and coughed out blood.
"Y-you damned, filthy mutt...," He growled, as he began to grab at my leg.
"I don’t think so, trash bird!" I snapped, as I mustered all my strength to wrench my foot out of his body, and in the brief instant he seized up in pain, I grabbed his face, raised him up and slammed him onto the ground with all my strength.
As his skull split open upon impact, blood and bits of brain splattering out, I repeatedly slammed his head against the ground over and over, cracks spreading out in the concrete from the point of impact, deepening with every strike, as I smashed his face in.
As I raised his head up again, I suddenly let out a sharp gasp of pain as he struck my side with his elbow, my grip on his head inadvertently loosening as a result.
Wh-what the hell, his brain was flattened, how the hell could he react!?
My balance was then upset as the gravity suddenly spiked again, before he swiftly pointed his palm at me and sent me flying back, hitting the ground and skidding away painfully, as he rapidly healed his head.
"So, you can seriously move even without your brain intact, huh? Now, that’s just not fair," I smirked wryly, as he approached me with a furious look on his face.
"Not quite, the loss of my brain severely reduces my cognitive capabilities. It was extremely unpleasant, however, my consciousness lies in my core, not my brain, unfortunately for you. You may well have done in a lesser Demon, but you stand no such chance against the likes of me," He growled venemously, as he formed an intense black fireball, "I do not know who you are, mutt, but for your impudence, you shall be reduced to ash-..."
Huh? He just vanished from my sight. And in his place, was a girl...she had short blonde hair from what I could see, but she was kinda obscured, covered in a dark, shadowy shroud. And the first thing that went through my mind as I saw her was that she’s...super cute...
