Amy slowly walked back to her dorm, her mind still on the conversation she and Theon just had. "I don’t know why... but Theon was acting different today..."
She suddenly stopped abruptly, and her face became beet red. "I can’t believe I hugged him. Just what was I thinking..."
"...He also looked taller today. Has it really been such a long time since I saw him?"
"Maybe it was because it was dark. Oh well... I’ll just have to see tomorrow."

Meanwhile, after saying his goodbyes to Amy, Theon immediately entered the dorms.
The dorms were separated into four separate buildings, each one built for each year. Of course the dorms were also separated by a considerable distance to prevent conflict between seniors and juniors.
But of course, that didn’t help at all as occasionally, there were clashes between each of the dorms.
Theon was a first year, so he immediately headed to the first year dorms. He wanted to try his possible best to avoid meeting any other student. Luckily, it was already late at night so all students were most likely in their rooms, with some asleep.

Theon had three roommates, each one of them close friends with him, but also likely suspects as well. He couldn’t afford to trust any of them right now.
"Well, here goes..." Theon knocked, then pushed the door open and stepped in.
Immediately he entered, all three heads in the room snapped in his direction. Their eyes widened as though they had just seen a ghost. Theon just stared back in silence, not knowing how to respond.
The silence dragged on for a moment.
Until:
"THEON!" They all screamed simultaneously.
"Where the hell have you been, man? We’ve been looking for you for the past two days..." Lucius hopped out of his bed and stepped closer to Theon. "TWO DAYS!!!"
Lucius was a close friend Theon had made during the entrance exams of the academy. How he met him... well, he had to save his ass after he angered a bunch of students. It didn’t end well at the end of the day... For both of them. He had slightly long black hair and tanned skin. He was the energetic one in the room to say the least.
He was usually misunderstood thanks to his rather bad mouth and way of conversing with people. The reason why he had no friends other than his roommates.
His talents though, spoke volumes about him. Even though he had only awakened a Silver purity resonance core, he was still able to grasp things rather quicker than most. It was safe to assume that he was currently the strongest in the room.
"Yeah. Where the hell have you been, Theon..." Reed calmly asked.
"...and what’s with all the blood. Don’t tell me those guys are still bullying you?" His voice grew cold and sharp.
Reed was also Theon’s childhood friend. He grew up in a neighboring orphanage just opposite the orphanage Theon grew up in. He was also Theon’s self-proclaimed rival from when they were little as they always fought over Amy’s attention.
While he seemed cold and distant, deep down he cared about those he was close to... especially Theon and Amy. He had also awakened a Silver purity resonance core and his prowess was unmatched with only selected first years like Lucius and monsters like Amy. freeweɓnovel.cøm
"By the way, Theon..." Damon suddenly spoke up.
"Did you grow taller? And your hair color... Has the bullying really reached the point that you are cosplaying now?"
Among all three of his roommates, Damon was the only one Theon could actually call normal. He had short curly brown hair. He wore loose glasses which he would occasionally push up the bridge of his nose. He was also considered the weakest among the three, though not to the point that he was weaker or as weak as Theon.
Theon could only sigh helplessly at the amount of questions being thrown his way. And Lucius, Lucius just wouldn’t leave his face and was just staring daggers at him, waiting for an answer to his question.
"Alright guys, you all should calm down." Theon said, placing a hand on Lucius’ face and pushing him away from him. "I wasn’t bullied or anything like that."
"Then what’s with all the blood?" Damon asked. "And where were you for the past two days?"
Theon sighed. He had already thought and planned ahead for any question they might ask.
"I applied for a mission, but got lost on the way there. I had a hard time finding my way back. As for the blood... well I was attacked by a wild animal, and I killed it. This is its blood."
He turned and looked at Damon. "Does that answer all your questions?"
Damon squinted his eyes. "It should suffice... For now."
"Then if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be going to take a shower now. I haven’t taken one in days, and this dry blood is getting irritating."
"Yeah, you actually should." Lucius grabbed the bridge of his nose. "You smell like shit."
Theon rolled his eyes and walked towards the bathroom.
All three pairs of eyes followed him till he entered inside and locked himself in.
Lucius immediately exhaled. "Was it only me, or did anyone else notice that Theon was acting weird today?"
"Yeah..." Reed replied. "He looked more confident today. Usually he would be too nervous to answer our questions if we rushed him like this."
"He also seemed stronger," Lucius whispered. "I don’t know how he was able to push me back so easily, even after I applied some strength as well."
"Perhaps the bullying finally got to him." Damon sighed. "This time, at least one person should be with him at all times. I’ve noticed that the second years are becoming more brutal these days."
"What really angers me is the fact that they always do it to him in secret, like f**king pests..." Reed gritted his teeth. "And that idiot Theon... he won’t even tell us the bastards who are doing this to him."
"Then from tomorrow, we have to be with him at all times." Damon said. "We can’t afford to let him out of our sights. I have a feeling that things are just going to get worse."
Both Reed and Lucius nodded in agreement, already planning out their course of action for any unlikely event that might occur the next day.
