Team A arrived on the second floor without any hiccups. Just immediately after appearing in the forest, they were welcomed by a soaring heat from the sun.
Lizards moved around the area, looking at the new uninvited visitors that had entered the tree-filled reptiles’ domain.
Unlike the first one, this floor carried a heavy mark, a memory that had caused all of this in the first place. Luckily, Team A’s very purpose was to remove that sad mark and replace it with nice memories instead.
"Now that our squad has appeared on the second floor, what will they do?"
Derek continued setting the mood for the event.
In the skies above them, birds the size of dogs flew all over in different directions. Their sharp beaks reflecting the sunlight like mirrors would.

The group knew what to do. They needed to bring them down quickly if they had any hopes of not passing the 2-hour mark.
But this time they were going to do it differently. Instead of following the beasts and hunting them head-on, they were going to bait them instead. Luckily, one of them had an ability perfect for that.
"Strength Overhaul!!"
He screamed, activating his skill.
The muscular boy grabbed a large uprooted tree and threw it into the skies. Its roots dangled through the air, sending soil flying in all directions before it crashed not far away from them.
The impact caused enough noise to draw the Beakbeasts in.
"He just uprooted a whole tree like it was nothing!!"
Derek screamed out of breath.
"Oh man, that kid’s strong."

And with that, their plan worked.
More than fifteen Beakbeasts rushed towards them headfirst . It looked like something straight out of an action movie. Over fifteen large birds charged at them all at once in a formation clearly made to attack their enemies consecutively.
"What will they do? Rudo’s technique can’t help them with something that flies. The team has to show their might now!"
Among the group of five, a girl stepped out.
She had a curvy body that was displayed perfectly by how tight the uniform was. On her ears and hands were priceless pieces of jewelry that, from the design alone, you could tell she had brought from Earth.
It wasn’t a surprise to find someone that rich since everyone who was in Valoria had to have some kind of stable financial status if they bought a ticket of salvation.
"Oh, ladies and gentlemen, her name is Clara. But what is she planning to do?!"
Derek spoke as if he didn’t already know what the girl’s technique was. He had gathered all the necessary information about them before they headed out for the mission. Every good journalist who strives to give people the right information always did that.
Upon seeing that the Beakbeasts getting closer, Clara extended her hands and shouted,
"Tornado Drift!"
Small balls of energy appeared in midair. The air began spinning violently, resulting into a tornado.
Its huge body caught the Beakbeasts in its range and pulled them into its spinning might.
"Can you see it? I can’t believe it!"
Derek screamed at the top of his lungs like his favorite team had scored.
The bar crowd was surprised too by the amount of promise they were seeing.
A thorn technique, a super strength technique, then a tornado technique.
All abilities that had been given to them at level 1 of their abilities. It was almost unbelievable since some people only got those kinds of techniques at level 2.
As the spinning tornado slowly lost its hold on the Beakbeasts and they finally began regaining their balance, the last two members of the group stepped forward.
They got into position, ready to use their own abilities.
The camera automatically zoomed in on them to capture their movements, like it already knew that whatever was about to happen would be magnificent.

The two shouted at once.
At their command, a blast of freezing wind gushed into the spinning tornado, freezing every part of it from the ground all the way into the skies.
One moment it was a tornado.
The next, a massive block of ice had consumed it all, and the Beakbeasts had been caught inside motionless.
Overall, it looked like a huge ice sculpture.
And to the audience at home, it looked beautiful. Something you might even consider buying if it hadn’t contained creatures that kill humans on sight.
"Ladies and gentlemen, see how beautiful it looks together. That’s just how beautiful our nation would be if we followed the rules made by our leaders!"
’Derek no longer has any shame, it seems. Feeding us political ideals where we least expect.’
Leo wondered as he stood in the crowd that had just doubled in number since the start of the livestream.
After giving people enough time to admire the statue and process the artistic feeling, the stronger teammate of the group stepped forward.
He punched the ice sculpture.

The entire thing shattered into countless pieces along with the Beakbeasts trapped inside, killing them all at once.
And just like that, they cleared the floor.
A door to the third floor appeared in front of them.
But the team never moved towards it.
No, if their job was to prove to everyone that the floors weren’t scary, then simply passing through them like a train wasn’t going to cut it.
They needed to show people that they were enjoying the experience, which in return would lower the fear and give a final push to those who were thinking of becoming Breakers.
So they headed towards the most beautiful side of the second floor, the waterfall that Leo’s team had discovered earlier before meeting the burnt Beakbeast.
The audience marveled at how beautiful and clear the whole scene was.
The clean water.The green vegetation. It almost looked like heaven on Valoria.
But before they could go in for a swim, they saw something that none of them had accounted for.
Someone was in the water bathing naked. It looked like a male human being.
"Are there supposed to be people here? I thought it was closed."
Rudo asked his friends, who in turn asked the cameramen, but they all gave the same answer. No one from Valoria had been allowed onto the floors.
Curious, the muscular boy walked closer to the figure bathing in the water.
"Dude, these floors have been reserved. You need to get out of here."
He screamed repeatedly, putting his hands on the sides of his mouth to amplify his voice.
But every single time he did, the man kept on bathing like he didn’t hear him.That was until he finally turned around.
And in that moment, all of the hope he ever had left the muscular boy body.
Not because of the water. But because of the being standing before him.
It was much taller than an average human. His physique looked human too, only slightly more built.
But the thing that ruined the illusion completely was the face.
Because not only did he have pointy teeth like a vampire, he also had a third eye on his forehead.
