Chapter 2632: Chapter 2632: The Saint of Thieves Makes His Move, Extraordinary
The storm halted, the sword glow vanished.
Master of Path and Cyrveth McCarty gazed at Carson Flores with eyes filled with a hint of surprise.
With their capabilities, they naturally could assess Carson Flores’ strength at a glance; merely at the initial stage of Great Land, such power could be vanquished in an instant.
They did not mind pausing to see what Carson Flores intended to do.
Snow Zane was already on the verge of death, utterly powerless to retaliate, so they were not concerned about any unforeseen incidents.
Snow Zane’s body slumped in a deep pit, covered in blood, looking at the suddenly appearing Carson Flores with a complex gaze.
Carson Flores himself did not know when Saint of Thieves would act, so he could only try his best to stall for time.
"Greetings, seniors."
Master of Path scrutinized Carson Flores: "You’re the disciple of Floating Cloud, aren’t you?"
Carson Flores was slightly startled, unexpected that the opponent even knew about him; such detailed intelligence was impressive.
Since the opponent was aware of his identity, Carson Flores straightforwardly admitted: "Yes, Hall Master."
Master of Path glanced at Snow Zane: "It appears you accompanied her when she killed the high-ranking officials of Malignant Dragon City, were you coerced?"
Carson Flores replied: "We happened to encounter her on the Flying Boat; she suddenly pretended to be my servant, killed Malignant Dragon City’s searchers, and then led us away. Later, in front of us, she slaughtered more than a dozen Malignant Dragon City high-ranking officials..."
Master of Path listened to Carson Flores’ calm answer and smiled: "So, you hate her very much then?"
Carson Flores shook his head: "I do not hate her."
Master of Path’s expression turned slightly cold: "You’ve discovered the truth, so you sympathize with her and think I should die?"
Carson Flores maintained his calm expression: "Although this may seem impolite to say, I do indeed have such thoughts."
Carson Flores answered outwardly, but internally he frantically roared, Saint of Thieves, when will you take action.
If you don’t act soon, I’m going to die.
Could it be that because I’m an incarnation, you’ll only act when they’ve killed me?
Answering Master of Path this way, perhaps the next moment my body will explode, right?
Yet Master of Path did not kill Carson Flores, nor did he even seem angry, at least it couldn’t be seen on the surface.
"Then what do you want to do now? Tell me I am wrong, ask me to let her go?"
Carson Flores blinked: "Is that possible?"
Master of Path calmly replied: "No, it’s not."
Carson Flores sighed: "Then would Hall Master kill me as well?"
Master of Path asked: "Does your mentor, Dragon Mountain Sect know about what you’ve done?"
Carson Flores answered cleanly: "Before I was taken by Zane, I was forced to leave Dragon Mountain Sect. What I’ve done is certainly unknown to them; this matter is unrelated to Dragon Mountain Sect; I suppose they’re still puzzled now."
After a pause, Carson Flores asked: "Hall Master, you wouldn’t implicate the entire Dragon Mountain Sect because of my actions, right?"
"No, indeed not, one takes responsibility for one’s actions."
Master of Path’s tone was calm: "Since you are compassionate and righteous, I shall fulfill your benevolent heart, letting you both die together."
Carson Flores suddenly felt a terrifying force rushing towards him, his eyes widened dramatically, extending his hand and shouting: "Hey, wait..."
Before Carson Flores could finish his words, the terrifying might instantly sealed the space around Carson Flores, then squeezed into his body.
"Boom!"
Carson Flores exploded.
At the instant Carson Flores’ body exploded, a figure suddenly appeared above the Heaven-devouring Altar, holding a black cloth bag in hand, casually waving it, that black cloth bag outright encompassed the Heaven-devouring Altar within it.
Meanwhile, the figure waved his hand, several black small spheres flew out and exploded instantaneously.
Space was instantly torn apart, revealing a dark and ominous Otherworldly Space, the pitch-dark rift like an invincible blade, slicing towards Master of Path and Cyrveth McCarty.
Master of Path and Cyrveth McCarty, suddenly under attack, instinctively surged with intense Golden Light Barrier while retreating backward.
Naturally, the one who struck was indeed Saint of Thieves!
He pulled the string of the cloth bag in his hand, the cloth bag suddenly tightened, and that immensely powerful Heaven-devouring Altar was thoroughly packed into the cloth bag.
Saint of Thieves laughed heartily, grabbed Snow Zane slumped on the ground remotely, and with a flash of his figure, he unexpectedly dove into the yawning black hole; the fearsome spatial rift could not harm him in the slightest.
The spatial rift restored instantly, yet Saint of Thieves and Snow Zane had already disappeared without a trace.
Master of Path and Cyrveth McCarty’s expressions changed completely.
Though that person’s speed was extraordinarily swift, truly a fleeting glimpse, not even seen clearly, the capability he displayed with that miraculous cloth bag made both identify him.
Saint of Thieves!
Cyrveth McCarty’s face turned ashen, his voice thunderous like Nine Heavens: "Varric Combs, return my Heaven-devouring Altar, otherwise, I will annihilate your kin!"
