Chapter 480: Inner World Training

"An eye appeared in the sky? That’s a little creepy don’t you guys think?" Saanvi finally said when the story was done.

"No Saanvi, the eye was the sky. Like the entire sky was one big giant eye."

Kiro could sense the shift in the atmosphere, the morale seemed very low despite the fact that they had been ecstatic not too long ago because of their maxed out stats.

He understood their concerns, it would’ve been more strange if they took it as if it were nothing. He couldn’t bring himself to motivate them to keep fighting, dying over there meant it was really over, he was sure of that now more than ever.

"So, what are we going to do?" Felix asked the question everyone wanted to ask.

"I don’t know if you guys know this but I can do something like teleportation between the worlds I’ve visited, worlds I had familiarised myself with..."

"Whoa, isn’t that too overpowered?" Ishaan exclaimed which was ignored.

"Everything in the universe vibrates at a certain frequency, I am able to tap into that frequency and teleport."

"Like tuning a radio for perfect signal!" Ursa blurted out.

"Sure..."

"I’ll volunteer to go with you." Nikolai said.

"Me too." Felix followed.

"I guess." Saanvi rolled her eyes.

Kiro contemplated their willingness to risk their lives. He didn’t want to lose anyone. The old earth world was not just a world with threats, the entirety of it was a threat, as terrible as his previous life was, only he remembered the experience of growing up, he didn’t want to cut theirs short.

’besides, too many cooks spoil the broth. I should be able to go there, in and out use my destructive skill to destroy that entire world and then come back quickly with Hiro’s potions.’

"I was actually thinking of going by myself."

There was a bit of silence and concerned looks thrown his way.

"There you go again Waynworth playing hero!" Isaac’s recently vanished venomous tone came back in an instant.

"You’re this angry but I didn’t hear you volunteer." Kiro got up from where he sat to confront him.

With everything he had said to him this was the most insulting. He was not even thinking about himself taking the glory, just the safety of everyone and the most efficient way to go in and out of that world, preferably with no casualties.

He grabbed him by the collar, "did you miss the part where I spent a mere 3 seconds in that space before almost collapsing due to energy depletion? I’m just trying to find a way to go in and out as quick as possible without anyone dying. Let’s save measuring our d*cks for when lives aren’t on the line." Kiro pushed him back.

He felt a little embarrassed that Isaac was able to push his buttons that far. It was not like him to lose control like this, so he cleared his throat hoping everyone else forgets what they’d just seen.

Isaac was very quiet now but his eyes were still filled with rage. Kiro didn’t pay him any mind.

"I can take at most three people, this includes myself. I can probably take more but that will take a chunk out of my energy, I won’t have the time and enough to use destruction, so I will take one. A priest. Someone that can use their energy to replenish mine while they use Hiro’s potions to replenish theirs."

Nobody said anything, they looked around nodding in agreement. It was up to Saanvi and Felix.

"I’ll do it, I can automatically consume anything in my storage. I’ll be your human potion." Felix volunteered once again.

"Great, you’ll need to train and expand your energy reserves. Give me your hand I’ll show you what you will need to fill." Felix took it.

"What the hell, my pathways aren’t that large."

"Then we will need to force them, it is the only way we can come back safely."

They both assumed a meditative position, Kiro channelled them both to his inner world. It was no secret that Asgard had very thin Kaos energy but now that almost everyone was using it, it was slowly becoming thick in the atmosphere, though still not thick enough.

Of course Kiro considered leaping into the space they’d just conquered but Kaos was a very violent energy, it could completey destroy Felix instead so they stayed in Asgard.

"The trick is to understand that your entire body is a vessel, let it flow all through, repeating the process many times is the best way. I can always beat you within an inch of your life though?"

Felix side-eyed Kiro, "let’s do repetition first."

Kiro felt it too, his reserves significantly increased when his level was maxed out, the confidence to take another person were because of this.

"Are we just gonna stand here and watch them?"

"What are we even gonna do?"

"I’m logging off for a while." Isla said, she was completely, mentally drained, time in the egg took its toll.

"Are you okay?" Saanvi asked almost showing genuine concern.

"Yeah, just a rough time over there. No idea how he isn’t even taking a break." He pointed to Kiro.

"I’ll take a break, I just need to do this with Felix first. I promise." He was still aware of his surroundings so he answered to put her at ease.

She smiled, her finger brushing his face as she moved past him. That almost killed his concentration but luckily he held on. He had his clone using Ryu and using the destruction skill, after all, almost dying was the greatest teacher, a faster way to grow even stronger.

His clone and Felix were in his inner world but on different ends. Kiro didn’t want neither of them to distract the other. His real self was busy supply energy to his clone to see how many times he could use the skill before running out and possibly expand his pathways even more.

They stayed like that for days, not moving at all. People came and went, not daring to disturb them. On the inside, Felix was growing stronger by the minute, his pathways were expanding faster than he anticipated.
