Chapter 316: And They Loved Happily Ever After

(Three Years Later)

Skyla comfortably sat on the beach lounger outside Sky Villa. Her hands were preoccupied with scribbling down her new story in her diary.

Her stomach was bulging out revealing she was pregnant again.

Zyair and Arata were playing with a ball nearby.

"Baba! Catch." Arata cutely threw the large red ball towards her father and he effortlessly caught it.

"That was a very solid throw, my princess," Zyair admired his daughter’s actions with a genuine smile that brightened up his eyes which were the same colour as the sea behind him.

Arata beamed and fisted the air in her triumph. Her long red curls bounced on her shoulders.

Meena emerged from the villa carrying a tray of freshly made lemonades and thinly sliced mangoes. Bitu smugly sat on her shoulder. She carried it to the table beside Skyla and placed it down.

"Come on, everyone, let’s have some lemonade and mangoes."

"We are coming," Zyair called out. He gently picked up his little one and placed her on his shoulder, carrying her to her mother and grandmother.

Skyla was already sipping her lemonade when they arrived, a warmth spread inside her seeing the duo.

Arata giggled, she loved being carried by her father. He placed her down beside her mother on the beach lounger. Meena handed Arata her sippy cup filled with lemonade and a plate of mango slices. Bitu flew and perched himself on little Arata’s shoulder. She offered him a bite and it relished in the taste of the sweet mango. As a thanks it began pecking her earlobe and making her giggle.

Zyair accepted his glass and showed his gratitude.

"Thank you! Mom." He went on to stand behind his wife, pressing a tender kiss in her fiery hair.

"You are welcome. How is lemonade?" Meena inquired, leaning comfortably back in the chair.

Her feet buried in the wet sand.

"Yummmmy!" Arata cheerfully answered, shaking her head as she emptied her sippy cup.

The elders couldn’t help but smile at the sweet child, who got busy playing with Bitu.

"How is the new book coming along?" Zyair asked.

"I have just begun it but have high hopes for it. Hopefully as good as the comic went," Skyla answered, plopping a piece of yellow sweet fruit in her mouth. The rich taste delighted her taste buds.

"Well, you will always have my support."

Skyla tilted her head and cocked a brow.

"In the form of Kakashi Hatake?" She smugly asked, slightly surprising him.

"How did you know?" He inquired, rubbing the back of his head, sheepishly.

"You fell asleep while reading one day and your account was open. You really thought I wouldn’t know? I had been suspecting you."

"Well, I wanted to be your secret admirer for a bit long," he teased, making her radiantly smile. The pregnancy had given her an extra glow.

"He has been your secret admirer for quite a while. His father knew," Meena said with a wink and took a small sip of her cold lemonade.

Skyla didn’t know that Montague was aware of his obsession with her.

"I had to confide in someone. Father was very good at keeping secrets and helping me pursue my goal." His loving arms went around her and Skyla couldn’t help but lean on them.

"I can’t tell you how glad I am that you found me and all of us became a family."

Skyla glanced around at the people she loved and her heart swelled with so much love.

"Same feelings my dear," Meena added with a nod of her head.

"Mommy, Aunt Huria and baby Stella will come?" Arata asked, playing with Bitu and feeding him more mangoes.

"Yes, my dear. They will join us tomorrow."

"Yahhh!" Arata was joyful. Huria had given birth to a baby girl two years ago and now Stella and Arata were becoming fast friends just like their mothers.

Huria and Rais were expected to join them at the Isle of Dreams. Since Zyair had recently bought the whole island, all of his family members and friends were welcome. Rais and Huria already had a property there.

Erdith and Kail had recently gotten married and Zyair had gifted them a beach villa as well so they could spend summers there.

"Grandma, will you walk with me on the beach?" Arata asked in her innocent voice and Meena smiled at her granddaughter. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com

"Of course! Let’s do it." Placing her glass down Meena left her seat and proceeded to take her granddaughter for a walk.

"Bye, Mommy and Baba." She sweetly waved at them. Her bright blues twinkled with the love she held for her parents. Bitu was still sitting on her small shoulder.

"Bye, sweetheart. We love you." Skyla and Zyair blew her a kiss and she skipped away holding her grandma’s hand. Telling her how she wanted to find shells.

Taking the opportunity, Zyair carefully picked Skyla up, slipping his hands underneath her knees. He comfortably settled down on the lounger and settled Skyla in his lap.

"How is our baby doing? Giving you trouble?" He slowly asked, slipping his hands inside her white sundress and caressing her bloated belly.

"Not really, sleeping I guess for now," Skyla said while drawing in a deep breath, the salty air rushing in her lungs.

"Mom Amsilia found a new woman for Skyams Foundation. She had been in an abusive marriage for the past seven years. They brought her in today."

Skyams Foundation was a collaboration between Skyla and Amsilia. Their main mission was to rescue and provide a safe place for women who had experienced domestic violence. They had established it two years ago and already had 40 women. freeweɓnovel.cøm

The tasks were divided among them, some cooked, some taught the kids and some did other managerial work. A whole community had been established with Skyla and Amsilia acting as heads. A full-time psychiatrist was available at all times for counselling and guidance.

Skyams had established a name for itself in the very short time of its creation.

"Mrs Blackthorn is doing a tremendous job with the organisation. Bringing her in was a wise decision, it keeps her busy," Zyair answered. Although he never regretted his decision to kill Doran, that woman deserved better. Facing her always tinged him with slight guilt.

"Agreed. Mawar and Lawrence are also flying in tomorrow. I told them to bring Cheryl. Arata is very comfortable with her. Girls will have a great time together."

Skyla placed her hand on Zyair’s and pressed it into her soft flesh. Letting him feel their child.

"Yes, the whole gang will be together."

"Babaaaa! Come look at the shell I found," Arata called out to her father.

"I am coming," he shouted back with a laugh.

"Go, I will finish my Chapter," Skyla urged him. Placing her back on the beach lounger, Zyair sauntered away towards his mother and daughter.

Skyla watched them in utter satisfaction before picking up her diary and pen.

She began to jot down the story that revolved around that legendary flower Zyair had shown her. The story of a goddess and her shifter lover. She wrote.

"Flashes of thunder whipped the celestial skies. The heavenly abode of the goddesses was utterly turbulent today for a crime of atrocious measures had been committed."

(That’s a wrap on the story of Zyair and Skyla. I hope all of you have enjoyed it. It had been an honour to receive all the gifts, power stones, golden tickets and overwhelming support.
