Chapter 164: She Won’t Even Breathe The Same Air
Next week proved to be extremely exhausting for Zyair. With his lawsuit against Doran, all his sittings with his lawyer and then the trouble Mithias Kincaid was brewing pushed him to his limits.
Only the thoughts of returning to Skyla after all this was over kept him going.
Zyair comfortably won his defamation case against Doran. They couldn’t present any solid evidence that Zyair and Skyla were having an affair. There were no phone recordings, no messages, no digital trail. Zyair’s PR team had done a remarkable job of erasing all the data.
The ones they presented turned out to be fake or heavily doctored.
Except for the words of that journalist whose source was already in jail, they had nothing against Zyair.
The man was a complete mystery and the fact no one knew what he looked like or what his past was, it became impossible to collect anything related to him.
Because nine years ago, Zyair Kincaid didn’t exist.
Doran was already reeling from the loss of Skyla in his colourless life. He had been imprisoned and his lawyer was working on bail.
But losing the case against Zyair hit him hard. The 100 million $ compensation was impossible for him to give so the court ordered the transfer of his company to Zyair as compensation. Since Zyair already owned the 60 per cent shares.
When they finally passed in the court hall after the case was over Doran gave him such a contempt-filled look that Zyair paused in his steps. His loathing voice came out slow and poisonous.
"I wasn’t able to prove it but I know you stole my wife and now my company. If you think you have won and I will forget all this then you are wrong. I am going to expose all your lies and your identity and then I will win my wife back. From today onwards I will be your worst nightmare and won’t breathe easy until I completely destroy you."
Zyair was not fazed by his words. He dismissively scoffed at the man in handcuffs and leaned closer to his ear so only Doran could hear.
"Well among all your daydreams one is never coming true. Skyla will never return to a devil like you, not now, not ever. I will ensure that she doesn’t even breathe the same air which you do. So rot in jail."
Doran’s face reddened in anger that coursed through him like toxic chemicals, burning him inside. Before he could counter the police led him away and Zyair watched him with satisfaction, his buffed arms across his chest.
Zyair’s PR team had also done a number on Doran’s reputation. The charges against him and all the details of the trial were leaked to the press.
#wifebeater became trending on all social media apps and a few people began to side and sympathize with Skyla as well.
This defamation case dealt a very swift blow to Doran’s overall reputation.
Zyair on the other hand was done with Doran and his shenanigans. It was Skyla’s birthday and he had done a lot of planning and arrangements before he went to fetch his girl and make this night the most memorable one for her.

"Happy Birthday girl. Your birthday comes with a blessing. Your ex-husband lost his case against Mr Zyair too." Huria was holding Skyla’s favourite coffee cake with a single candle on it. They had news on which were covering the case proceedings.
"Thanks, girl. He finally got what he deserved." Skyla appreciatively accepted the cake from Huria and placed it on the table in front of her.
Her heart brimmed with this satisfaction of seeing Doran lose the case and his company.
Her eyes went to her phone for the hundredth time, expecting Zyair’s message. She knew he was busy and they had been advised to not communicate until the trial was over. Still, her heart panged to talk to him to get a single text from him.
Skyla cut the cake and both of them relished in the tasty creaminess. Huria’s phone pinged and she picked it up to check the message. A knowing smirk spread on her face as she read it and placed the phone back.
"Someone is here to meet you outside. Go have a blast. It’s a black limo at the end of the road." She playfully raised her eyes at Skyla, confusing her. freewebnovёl.ƈom
"Who?" Skyla asked, a bit confused. Although her heart drummed for it to be Zyair.
"Go and see for yourself. I am sure you will be surprised." Huria winked and stood up, dragging Skyla to her feet and pushing her towards the main door.
"Huria? What are you doing?" Skyla asked with a low laugh. Huria grabbed her long coat and scarf and helped her put it on.
"Go and trust me, will you?" Huria opened the door for her and pointed with her head.
"OK, thank you for the cake and everything." Skyla hugged her friend and carefully walked out. Her eyes scanned for anyone lingering but she didn’t find many people. It had snowed two days ago and it was still frigidly cold. She wrapped her white fur coat around herself tightly.
A sleek limo she had never seen before was parked at the end of the road. The auburn-shaded hair girl’s heart pulled her towards the car as her feet rapidly took her to it.
Reaching it the door opened from inside and without any fear but with a palpitating heart she stepped inside the dark car, shutting the door behind her.
The car started to slowly move as Skyla turned her head in the dark and a hand reached out grabbing her waist and pulling her onto a warm body. She yelped at the sudden action when his deep baritone voice reached her.
"I missed you."
Making her insides liquefy and her breath to be caught up in her throat.
He was here.
"I missed you too," she whispered back. She couldn’t see him but she could surely feel him underneath her. He was so warm, so delectable.
"Will you show me how much?" His tongue was lining her outer ear as his large hands pulled her closer from the waist, making the hair on her nape stand up.
"Yes!" Skyla answered with a bated breath as Zyair nibbled her earlobe eliciting a tiny moan from her ajar mouth.
"Do it then, show me how much my Lily missed me." Zyair’s smooth voice was like a pleasant symphony as he licked her earlobe one last time and let it go, straightening his face. Skyla’s cold body had heated up from his sultry actions and now the overcoat seemed unnecessary.
Grabbing his face she smashed her needy lips on his demanding ones and both of them wallowed in the relief this intimate moment brought them.
They locked onto each other, his soft ones against her velvety vermillion ones. Skyla’s hands slid into his silken strands and she nudged while deepening the kiss, her wet tongue entered his mouth exploring the hardness of his teeth and the softness of his walls and palate.
He groaned and she, in equal amount, moaned.
Both of them couldn’t get enough of each other. She took her time languidly exploring him, every strike of her tongue hit directly in Zyair’s ever-engorging organ.
His tongue collided with hers and the tango of their passionate yearnings began. Without thinking she grinded her hips against him and he jerked under her. Anymore and they wouldn’t be leaving this car. There was a lot he needed to do tonight.
So slowly he broke the fervent kiss, leaving both of them panting against each other’s mouth. Their hearts racing like a frantic deer.
"Happy Birthday, my love," he slowly whispered, trying to get his bearings right.
