Chapter 103: He and Her, 22 Years Ago (Part 1)

(Flashback, 22 years ago)

"Get up! Me working today so fix breakfast." A stunning woman yelled while kicking a sleeping nine-year-old boy right in his stomach.

He groaned in pain, holding his abdomen. He breathed through it and got up from the floor where he had been slumped.

His pained blue eyes opened and he took in the woman who birthed him but never bothered loving him.

Her long raven hair, sleek and silky flowed like slithering snakes. The almond-shaped eyes and perfectly tanned skin made men fall on her feet.

An oval face and a slim nose with a body of seductress, she was nothing short of a she-devil and men flocked to her for her beauty and skills in bed.

She was adjusting her skin-tight bodycon dress as her son got up and slowly walked to the kitchen.

"What would you like for breakfast?" he solemnly asked.

"Coffee and toast, be quick about it. Got no time to waste." She spoke with a thick accent and began to softly brush her hair, only if she could show such gentleness to her son as well.

"Yes! Mom."

"How many times do I have to tell you Caeco, not call me that?" She shrieked at him, her eyes holding animosity and he shrivelled back. Lowering his head he began to prepare her breakfast and brought it to her.

Once she was done, she gave him a long list of chores he needed to do when a long horn of a car sounded outside.

"Go open door. Diego be here to pick me up. Need to check my lip paint," she ordered the boy and he went to answer the door.

A burly bald man covered in tattoos was standing there. He had the look of a feral wolf in his eyes and the smirk of a fiend.

"Hey! Caeco you growing taller every day. You’re almost a man now." He eyed the child up and down with that hunger that would never sate. Caeco felt disgusted to his core.

"Hey! Diego," he answered in a clipped tone. The man gave him hibby jibbies.

Diego made his way inside the room where his mother was, Caeco remained outside not wanting to see or hear any vulgarity they would be indulging in.

They didn’t even bother closing the door, making Caeco sick to his stomach. He wanted to rush outside and escape the hell he lived in every day. He plunged his fingers deep into his ears not wanting to hear.

After they had finished their shenanigans, Diego began to make suggestions to which his mom fully agreed.

When they finally emerged from the room both of them faced the nine-year-old.

"Listen Caeco, you are a man now. And a man should earn his own money and not be dependent on others. From tomorrow you will go with me and start your training. Your mother has given me permission." Diego informed him with the calmness of a serpent ready to pounce on his prey.

Caeco’s heart gripped in panic and fear descended in his innocent eyes.

"What are you talking about? What training?" he panicked.

"Training to turn you into a man who knows how to please, give comfort and of course knows how to fuck and get fucked," Diego answered with a sneer, leaning closer to the shivering boy’s personal space. He brought down his large hand on his shoulder.

Caeco struggled to breathe, he didn’t even understand all of this.

"Enjoy your last day here, tomorrow you are going with me. And don’t you dare try to run or you know what I do to naughty boys, don’t you Caeco. It will be a shame to break your legs, they are long." Diego threatened and straightened up, draping his arm around the tiny waist of the woman Caeco called Mom. She watched in amusement as her son shuddered in fear, his eyes brimmed up with tears of pain.

"Make dinner. Come Diego, we be late." She had zero empathy or love in those hypnotically beautiful eyes of hers.

"No, please. Don’t make me do this. I want to go to school and study. I want to become a successful businessman, not what Diego is saying." He fell to his knees clutching his mother’s leg, and the tears abundantly flowed. But the people standing before him had no mercy in their blackened hearts.

"Buhahahahah, you and a businessman? What will you sell? Peanuts?" Both of them roared in laughter as she jerked her leg free from his hold and bent down clutching his face.

"A son of a whore will only be a whore, Caeco. Society will never accept you for anything else, they be mocking you. Better to accept your destiny than daydream. Drill that in your brain," she snarled at him and let go.

"Days of playing are over, you make money now," she said while straightening up and letting Diego take her away.

The boy shattered and slumped to the ground. Crying non-stop for hours until he couldn’t cry anymore. His heart ached, his chest constricted and his throat was raw from the numerous shouts of his anguish.

He finally gathered himself up, wiped his face and left the house wandering away from it. As far away as his legs could carry, roaming aimlessly.

He entered a posh area and kept walking slowly. His hands in his pockets not knowing where his feet were taking him. The pain in his chest kept growing.

There was a park in the distance, children were playing in it with their parents and pets. The freshly cut grass and amalgamation of multi-coloured flowers made the ambience rich and he found himself walking in its direction.

A small pond lay in the centre of the park where ducks were swimming and children were feeding them crumbs. He walked over and settled down on its bank, watching the rippling surface of the water with his saddened eyes.

His legs huddled his paining chest as tears flowed down his handsome face.

Something hit him in the back and he let out a yelp, turning his head to see. It was a small girl in a red frock, shiny red shoes and a pink cap on her head, she had an apologetic look in her minty eyes and a strawberry blush on her fluffy cheeks.

"Sorry, sorry, I didn’t mean to bump with you. Are you ok?" The little girl observed the tears on his face and that cute smile disappeared from her face.

"Yes!" He held her gaze for a second and then looked away. She seemed like a rich brat from the way she was dressed and he didn’t want any more trouble than he already had.

"Doesn’t seem like it. You are sad and crying. I don’t like it when people cry." She squatted beside him without any invitation and faced him holding her chubby face in her tiny hands.

He side-eyed her, she was too cute and he wanted to pinch her overly fat cheeks.

"Why do you care?" he sadly asked, no one cared for his well-being. frёeωebɳovel.com

"My mommy says it’s good to care for others and to make them smile. Don’t cry," she softly asked, reaching out with her small hand and wiping his tears.

"Oh!" He watched her dumbfounded as if she was an alien for showing him care while she sweetly smiled at him, brightening up everything around him.
