"Then, who are you, and why did you help us?"
Shortly after the mysterious man standing before them assured them that the members of their Club were already safe.
Alessia could not help but ask.
Because this person had suddenly appeared and saved them.
The mysterious man looked at her. Alessia noticed that his eyes were a deep golden color, and if she looked closely, his pupils were semi-inverted.
"I am a prophet. My job is to protect someone whose identity I cannot reveal. However, this person is close to you, or at least will be in a couple of months."
Adel was referring to the events of Chapter Four, which would take place at the end of the year, the end of the cadets’ first year.
However, since Alessia was unaware of this, she asked,
"Someone who is close to us...?"
"Yes and no. She is not necessarily close to the two of you or to the members of your Club. Ah, and of course, she will be close to both of you before the end of the year."

The mysterious man in front of them sighed and said,

Alessia stopped and followed Zoey’s line of sight.

They noticed a pile of flesh scattered across the floor—meat, entrails, bones, everything that a human or a villain contained inside their body, shattered into pieces.

I nodded as I processed her words while she continued speaking.
"I think stealing the rings may be easier than it appears. If a third party appears without being detected, it should be possible to steal the rings."
I already knew that; however, the problem was getting close enough and then taking the rings.
My plan was to use my Inventory to store the rings once I got close enough.
The problem was that I needed to be within five meters of the target in order to use my Inventory.
