Chapter 667: Ash vs The Eternal Creation

Ash simply raised one hand in a lazy wave, his voice calm and unbothered.

"Oh, carry on," he said, as if he had just interrupted a casual conversation. "I haven’t let someone power up before. Just make it interesting for my good readers."

With that, he sat down cross-legged in the air a short distance away, resting his chin on his hand as he watched them with genuine curiosity, like a spectator waiting for a show to begin.

The Forbidden Essences felt a wave of even deeper dread wash over them.

His casualness — the complete lack of concern or hostility — only made their situation feel more hopeless.

There was no need for any more words.

They shared one last, weighted glance, their bodies still shaking from the exhaustion of the fight and the suffocating force of his presence.

Deep down, they all understood—there was no way out.

With a quiet, mutual acknowledgment, they gave each other a final nod.

Then, without another word, they moved together again. freewebnøvel.coɱ

HUMMMMM!!!!!

Their bodies began to break down, unraveling at the conceptual level as they pressed closer. Cracks of light and shadow spread across their forms as they merged, their individual existences fusing into one.

The air around them distorted violently. ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

A massive surge of power erupted outward as the five became one.

Their combined presence tore through the surrounding space, forcing nearby horrors and warriors alike to be pushed back by the sheer pressure.

What remained in their place was a single, towering entity — its form a chaotic blend of shifting darkness, cracked stone, flickering light, and burning judgment.

Golden cracks ran across its entire body like veins, pulsing with unstable power.

The newly fused Forbidden Essence stood tall amidst the chaos, its presence now far heavier than before.

Its form was a chaotic blend of shifting darkness, cracked stone, flickering light, and burning judgment, with golden cracks running across its entire body like veins, pulsing with unstable power.

The moment its transformation was complete... It stared at Ash.

Yet... even in this form, it could still not perceive him fully.

His existence flickered at the edges of its awareness — parts of him sharp and clear, while others remained blurred and incomplete, as if reality itself was struggling to define what stood before it.

Like always... one would have to be connected or bonded with Ash to even see him clearly and this one thing... it made the new Essence feel an even deeper dread.

The fused being felt a heavy, sinking hopelessness take root deep within its core.

’H-how could they possibly impress something like this? How could they even dream of being spared by a presence they couldn’t fully perceive?’

Ash’s voice sliced through the tangle of their thoughts, light and almost friendly.

"What are you just standing there for?" he asked, giving a casual wave of his hand to beckon them.

"Go on," he added with a nod. "Introduce yourselves properly."

The fused Forbidden Essence paused for only the briefest moment before obeying. They had to impress him — they needed to.

There was simply no other path forward.

With that... Its voice came out layered, echoing with the combined resonance of five ancient essences.

"We are the Eternal Creation," it declared, its form shifting and stabilizing as it spoke.

"We are the embodiment of all creation under the Mother — the first and only true source of everything that has ever been shaped, formed, or given life in her domain."

They went on to give a brief description, explaining in simple terms that they embodied the very foundations of existence, the seeds from which new beginnings sprout, the entirety of all that exists, and the final reckoning for all must come to an end.

Yet, this was merely what the form was intended to represent under ordinary circumstances.

Now, it wasn’t just these Forbidden Essences, but every remaining being had grown far stronger than they had ever been before.

This transformation had gone far beyond what it was ever intended to be. At this point, they could be considered equal to the Mother herself—her will made flesh, her power given form.

The towering figure stood motionless after speaking, golden cracks across its form pulsing with an unstable light as it waited, the air thick with the weight of its desperation.

Ash observed them quietly, his face calm and unreadable, betraying nothing of his thoughts.

He chuckled softly, the sound low and almost playful as it carried through the frozen battlefield.

"Well, well..." he said, his reddish-purple eyes glinting with amusement. "Since you want to impress me, you better give it a damn good shot."

With that, Ash simply disappeared.

He appeared again in an instant, right before the towering, fused Forbidden Essence, close enough that the creature could sense the weight of his presence pressing against it like something tangible.

He didn’t move, didn’t attack, didn’t even make a show of power.

Normally, Ash would have started his battle with a bang... quite literally. Yet, this time he wanted to try something different.

HUMMMMMM!!!!!

Then, without warning, the black bracelet on his wrist flared with a dazzling light before disappearing entirely.

In the next instant, Primordia appeared behind the fused entity, her long red-and-lavender hair flowing freely as she materialized with a sharp, eager smile.

Her presence radiated a calm confidence, yet there was a clear spark of anticipation in her eyes as they locked onto the towering figure before her.

It had been far too long since she’d had the chance to fight alongside Ash—not because she had been too weak, but because of the nature of her very Existence.

For the longest time, she had been nothing more than an extraordinary katana, able to shift into any form she or Ash desired.

But the stages of power had long moved beyond the need for weapons, and even though those on the battlefield still wielded them, they were not artifacts but conceptual ideas or essences given form.

Now, in her Humanoid form, she could finally step onto the battlefield in her own right, and she could hardly wait to show what she was capable of.

"Oh... finally!"
