Chapter 544: Chapter 400: Du Huo’s Fury

"So we’re just going to do nothing? If we let the Super Tribe take control of the Polar Forest, we’ll have nothing left in the future."

Hearing this, the Worm Witch paused the hand toying with a Poisonous Insect. "It’s rare for that head of yours, which is usually only full of food, to actually contain something."

He sat up. "To the Super Tribe, we are just as powerless as those small tribes are to us.

Whatever the Super Tribe wants to do, we have no right to stop them. And of course, we couldn’t stop them even if we tried.

Unless our tribe no longer wants to exist on the Red Flame Plain, you understand?"

Du Huo choked, "I just can’t accept this..."

The Worm Witch sneered. "Don’t waste time on useless emotions. Get out."

"Witch, the tribesman who lost today was even stronger than me. I won’t participate in the rest of the competition. I’ll take our people back to hunt."

His words were filled with resentment.

The Worm Witch glanced at him and waved his hand irritably. "Get lost."

Then he closed his eyes.

’Resentful?’

’He was the most resentful of all. He had thought they could finally surpass the Yan Yan Tribe this time, but who would have thought that because of some female, it would all be... ’

The Angry Beast left the Worm Witch’s stone house and went to the Beastman Captain’s tent again.

"Tomorrow, I’m taking a few of our brothers and heading back to the tribe first. Anyway, you’re the one with the best chance of being chosen by the Super Tribe, Captain. The rest of us are just here for the show.

Now that the Messenger is so obviously biased towards the Yan Yan Tribe, it just pisses me off. I don’t want to stay here anymore, so I’m going back to hunt."

The Beastman Captain frowned. "Did you tell the Witch? Are you going straight back to the tribe?"

Du Huo nodded. "I already told the Witch. We’re not going back to the tribe right away. We’re all holding in a gutful of anger, so I told the guys we’d go train in the forest for a while before heading back."

The Scorpion Captain patted his shoulder. "That’s fine too. Be careful in the forest."

He gave a wry smile at the fuming Beastman sitting across from him. "Maybe by the time you get back to the tribe, we’ll see each other again."

Hearing this, Du Huo glanced at him, wanting to say something. But when he thought about the Messenger’s different attitudes toward their two tribes, he just nodded.

Then he stood up. "I’m leaving directly tomorrow morning. I won’t come by again."

’Damn it, staying here and having to look at the smug faces of those bastards from the Yan Yan Tribe really fills me with rage.’

’What kind of bullshit Super Tribe is this? Falling for a female like the Yan Yan Witch and even wanting Crystal Cores, hmph!’

His eyes darted back and forth. Anyone who knew him would know this guy was definitely up to no good.

That night, a few familiar figures sat in the Angry Beast’s tent.

Looking closely, they were all people who had been tortured with him in the Snow Tiger Tribe.

Even the two dyed-hair brothers were there.

"Du Huo, are we really going to..."

The Beastman didn’t finish his sentence, but he pointed a finger in a certain direction.

’Thinking about what Du Huo had just said, his legs were trembling. Damn, this was just too intense.’

Du Huo glared at him. "Look at you, you coward. If the Super Tribe’s Messenger held a fair selection, that would be one thing. But look at the past few days! He’s obviously biased towards the Yan Yan Tribe."

"Our Scorpion Tribe and the Yan Yan Tribe are about equal in strength. With this kind of selection method, once the Yan Yan Tribe becomes powerful, what will be left for us?!"

"But we still can’t... If the Super Tribe finds out about this..."

The few Beastmen’s faces turned deathly pale and looked awful.

"Look at you all, a bunch of cowards. We’re just going out to hunt. Who’s going to know where we went? As long as we’re fast enough, there’s no problem getting back before the selection ends."

After speaking, he lifted his head smugly. "Anyway, since the Super Tribe is being so unfair, I’m not going to let them have an easy time either."

The other Beastmen exchanged glances. Although they were still scared, the thought of what their tribe’s Beastman Warriors had suffered over the past few days filled their hearts with rage.

"Fine, we’ll go with you."

Du Huo let out a sly chuckle. "Don’t worry. We might even get some benefits out of this."

Speaking of benefits, the Beastmen all gulped. "I haven’t had noodles or Geda soup in so long since we came back."

"Then maybe we’ll get to have a good meal this time."

"Heh heh, for some reason, I’m really looking forward to it."
