Diane watched the wind blade flying towards her, and she didn’t even bother moving! She simply put a hand out in front of her, and a rune on her stomach glowed with a bright red light as a portal opened on her hand! And in the next moment, all the wind blades flew into the portal and were absorbed into her body! The rune pulsed as it cleansed the mana and added it to her own mana stream, and Jason actually felt shocked as he felt Diane’s mana shooting up even higher!
’Ok. So she can absorb mana attacks as well. That’s just fucked up.’
Jason moved out of the way quickly as the giant serpent unleashed another massive attack towards him, and Jason noticed Diane flying after him quickly! Jason quickly categorised everything he had found out about Diane! She had runes carved into her blade that allowed it to cut through nearly anything, and she also had a rune in her shield that allowed it to block TITAN Rank skills. She could absorb tons of mana, and her swordsmanship was also at the highest-level. Diane had been a candidate for the Overlord, so Jason knew he shouldn’t be surprised that she was at least this strong. But if Jason was going to counter her, then he would need to find out more about her abilities. Jason couldn’t reveal all his cards until he knew what her limits were!

An intense wave shot through the air as their swords clashed, but Diane didn’t back down as she went on the offensive!

Sparks flew through the air as Diane’s sword blurred towards Jason with hundreds of slashes, but not a single one of them landed! Thanks to the [Advanced Swordsmanship] skill that Jason had gained a long time ago, Jason was more than capable of matching Diane’s intensity even with his eyes closed, and he began to counter with strikes of his own! Jason slashed his sword towards Diane’s neck, but Diane moved back and dodged it by a millimeter before she brought her sword down for an overhead strike! Jason moved in and blocked Diane’s swinging arm using his forearm, and he tried to use the opening to stab Diane in her stomach, but the rune on Diane’s stomach glowed with a bright red light, and Jason felt shock pass through him as he felt Diane gathering an insane amount of mana in the rune! Jason immediately stopped his attack and raised a defence!
TWOON!
A beam of pure energy suddenly shot out from Diane’s stomach and slammed into Jason, and Jason was thrown through the air and into a large mountain at the side! Diane let out a harsh breath as she tried to calm her racing heart, and she touched a rune on her left hand. The rune broke, and a large surge of mana was released into Diane’s body. The rune Diane just used was a mana storage rune similar to the one Jason had on his body. Most high-ranking mages used this rune to replenish their mana after unleashing a skill that takes up far too much energy! Once Diane was sure that her mana was high enough, she was about to charge for Jason again, but Ragnar suddenly appeared beside Diane and opened its mouth to unleash a beam of superheated fire!

Diane quickly brought her shield forward to block, but she was still thrown back by the massive explosion! Jason had summoned Ragnar a long time ago, but since Ragnar had been far away helping Katarina against some Sky Serpents on the other side of the island, it had taken a while for him to get here!
ROARR!
The giant serpent boss roared from behind as it slithered forward to try and attack Ragnar, but the boss suddenly stopped as it felt Jason’s mana reach out to it! Jason snapped his finger from the other side of the battlefield, and the Serpent Boss erupted in red fire!

The boss screamed in pain, and Jason cleaned the blood on his chin. Jason was standing on top of a mountain on the other side of the battlefield, and there was a glare on his face as he turned away from the burning serpent to find Diane.
’Fuck, that bitch hits like a truck.’
Jason had never fought against another TITAN Rank III till now, and he was finally finding out just how unbelievably powerful someone on his level was. If Jason hadn’t defended against Diane’s attack back then, he was sure he would’ve lost an arm at least. But that didn’t matter now. A loud roar echoed from the distance as Trigon also appeared on the battlefield, and Jason called on Arcticus as he turned and gave Ragnar an order.
’You’re in charge. I need you three to push her to the edge and make her use as many abilities as possible. I’ll handle the snake, so make sure you have something for me when I’m done.’
The dragon let out a massive roar as it received its order, and it beat its wings as it immediately charged towards Diane! Diane brought her sword down in a vertical slash, but she was blocked by a massive ice boulder that slammed into her, and Diane glared at Arcticus as the large giant ran toward her! Diane was about to unleash a skill to get rid of the ice giant, but she never had the chance to do that as she was suddenly blindsided by Ragnar! The large dragon dived down like a comet and slammed into her hard as it carried her off into the distance!
Jason still didn’t know the full extent of Diane’s abilities, and Jason knew it would take at least this much to keep Diane busy. Jason could handle those three subordinates on his own, so he was sure that Diane could do the same thing. But even if she could handle them, she wouldn’t be able to do it without revealing some of her secret cards! And once Diane uses them against his subordinates, Jason would also learn what she could do! While his subordinates were doing that, Jason would handle this fucker!
ROARRR!
The large serpent roared in anger as it charged towards Jason, and Jason tested his eyes by opening them slightly to see if he could see. But the moment Jason opened his eyes, he felt the Vertigo hitting him again, and Jason clicked his tongue and closed his eyes! Jason was still using [Qi Amplification] to see the world around him, but not only was he running low on Qi, but Jason could also feel his mana control being limited! Jason had to focus on controlling both his mana and Qi at the same time, so he couldn’t do either one of them perfectly! But it didn’t matter! Even without his eyes, Jason knew that the serpent was no match for him!
SCREECH!!
The giant boss activated its sonic blast, but Jason put his hand forward and formed a dome of magic around him that blocked the attack! Jason threw the dome down seconds later, and the serpent boss was shocked as Jason activated a sonic blast of his own!

The blast slammed into the boss and sent it flying back into the ground, and Jason charged forward immediately to try and use the distraction, but the boss immediately made its scales ripple as it sent out hundreds of small Sky Serpents to attack! Jason poured mana into the [Death’s Mirage], and the sword grew until it was nearly a hundred meters long before Jason slashed across the air in front of him! The slash tore through hundreds of Sky Serpents all at once, and it gave Jason the opening he needed to continue forward! The Serpent boss felt fear gripping its heart as it saw Jason’s relentless charge, and it began to backpedal while sending even more monsters after Jason!
