Chapter 1205: Chapter 469: China Dragon Card Deck

"The lines may not be quite right, but it’s definitely the Prime Minister."

Ree Shil rubbed his hands together.

In the culture of the Three Kingdoms, Zhuge Liang undoubtedly held an unshakable position.

In fact, in the eyes of many, his presence and importance even surpassed that of the Five Tiger Generals combined.

At this time, the card face slowly brought up the projection of a man.

His features were delicate, his skin fair.

His eyes were bright and spirited, as profound as the ocean, emitting the light of wisdom.

He wore a headscarf and held a white feather fan in his hand. freewёbnoνel.com

[Ethan Collins] freewebnoveℓ.com

Listening to the Wind, 0 Points, A

Attack 0, 100/100, 0/6

[Hidden Dragon - Passive]: Ethan Collins automatically recovers 0.5 Energy every round

[Sky City - Passive]: When Ethan Collins’s Energy is 0, he cannot be targeted

[Flying Fire - 4 Point Energy]: Ethan Collins causes all of the opponent’s Revealed Cards to gain [Ignition]

[Wooden Ox and Gliding Horse - 2 Point Energy]: Ethan Collins either makes a card from his own side [Move] by 1 grid or makes two adjacent own side cards [Replace]

"[Sky City]? That’s a pretty novel mechanism."

Ree Shil was drawn to the second entry at first glance.

Not being targetable meant that the only way to deal Damage to him would be to use Area Of Effect AOE.

Area Of Effect AOE usually doesn’t have very high Damage.

Which means, if [Sky City] kept triggering, taking out [Ethan Collins] would be no easy task.

Just looking at this entry, it could almost be deemed an S level godly mechanism, befitting of the Prime Minister.

But, after all, this was an A Level Card, so it had certain restrictions in different aspects.

That would be the effect of [Hidden Dragon], which actually conflicted with [Sky City].

It would lead to continuous Energy gain.

To trigger [Sky City], one would need to use Skills at a high frequency.

Since the gain of Energy was settled at T6, when Ethan Collins’s Energy was at 0, he could not be targeted in the following round.

For instance, in the First Round of Reveal Card, [Sky City] would definitely trigger.

As for the other two Active Skills.

[Wooden Ox and Gliding Horse] was similar to Samuel Chess’s [General Chess Piece] [Commander Chess Piece].

It had low Energy consumption, enabling frequent use.

That fitted perfectly with the aforementioned [Sky City] trigger.

Then, this Skill had great synergy with Cassius Hayes.

[Flying Fire] had higher Energy consumption, difficult to manage, especially for a Wind listening card.

However, with [Hidden Dragon], Standstill for 3 Rounds could recover 4.5 Energy, shortening the cycle by one round.

Even if [Ethan Collins] were to focus entirely on DPS, he could gather 4 points of Energy in 8 rounds through [Hidden Dragon].

This [Flying Fire], coupled with Hanzel Yellow, would be a great match.

[Hanzel Yellow]’s own [Ignition] couldn’t trigger [Chasing Arrow], but others’ [Ignition] could.

Once [Flying Fire] went down, [Hanzel Yellow] could unleash quite a few [Chasing Arrows], exploding the DPS.

Having seen this far, all the Shu general cards had finally been reviewed.

Ree Shil also hoped for Wei and Wu general cards, but none appeared.

It must be said, this was a bit of a disappointment.

But the following card dispelled his disappointment.

[Clang!!!]

From the card face emerged the projection of a golden red Fire Phoenix, streaking forth.

Its entire body was composed of flames, and additionally, between the two legs on its belly, there was a third one.

[Three-legged Golden Crow]

Wither, 30 points, A

Attack 30, 100/100, 0/3

[Great Drought - Passive]: When the Three-legged Golden Crow is revealed, it makes the opponent’s Scene Card ineffective for 3 Rounds

[Blazing Sun - Passive]: Every Round, the Three-legged Golden Crow causes adjacent enemy Revealed Cards to take 10 points of [Ignition] Damage

[Flying Fire - 3 Point Energy]: The Three-legged Golden Crow [Moves] to any empty Card Grid and triggers [Blazing Sun] again

[The Sun Never Sets - Passive]: For every [Ignition] status on the field, the Three-legged Golden Crow gains 5 points of [First Aid]

(Thanks: Designer [jonathanL], this card has been adjusted for balance.)

"This is interesting, the mechanism of this card.

First off, it can target Scene Cards, which is quite rare.

Then it carries area-based [Ignition] Damage without consuming Energy.

Theoretically, it could inflict Damage on up to four of the opponent’s cards at once, amounting to 40 points of DPS.

Plus its own DPS, that’s 70 points of DPS in one round.

It also comes with Recovery abilities. It could directly fly into the heart of the enemy Formation and then [Defense].

This way, it could cause a load of [Ignition] Damage, while also getting Recovery through [Ignition], killing two birds with one stone.

And it pairs well with [Ethan Collins]’s [Flying Fire], the effect is excellent.

In PVE, inflicting [Ignition] on the entire opposing side, if it’s a 9+1 game, the Three-legged Golden Crow could gain 50 points of [First Aid] each round—pretty terrifying."

Ree Shil thought the only pity was that this card was a New Species Withered card.

From his knowledge of the Three-legged Golden Crow, it made sense that this card was of the Withering type.

However, Withered cards are difficult to charge, which would make it hard for the Three-legged Golden Crow to use its skills in the early stages of the game.

Unless there are Energy Cards or a Summoning Style is used, where many cards leave the field.

Or else, it would be in those multiplayer Alien-shaped games, where a dozen or more cards leave the field each round, the ideal scenario for Withered cards.

Besides, as the card currently stands in his hand, it’s only theoretically high in DPS.

For instance in a 9+1 card game, to achieve full 4 [Ignition] DPS, one would have to create an opening in the middle of the opponent’s Formation, specifically the middle column’s Next Line card grid.
