She glared venomously at everyone in the room and spat through gritted teeth, "Since you already know everything, why bother calling me here to question me? You already have it all figured out, don’t you? What else is there for me to say? Fine! I’m the one who harmed your precious daughter, your precious sister! Go on, call someone to arrest me! You ungrateful monsters! And to think I treated you all so well for so many years. What a waste."

"Ungrateful? I think you’re talking about yourself," Mrs. Li snorted.
Just then, there was a knock at the Li family’s main door. A guard opened it, and several police officers filed in. They saluted Mr. Li, Mrs. Li, and Li Fenghuo. "Chief."
Mr. Li nodded. "You’re all clear on the matter. Deal with it as protocol dictates."
"Yes, sir," the lead officer affirmed. They were already perfectly clear on the details of the case. Their purpose here today was to arrest Li Yuan.
Li Yuan had been acting wild and defiant just moments before, but the sight of actual police officers at the door sent her into a panic. She scrambled over to Zheng Jianjun’s side, crying, "Jianjun, save me! For the sake of all our years as husband and wife, please save me! Our two sons can’t lose their mother!"
