Chapter 117: Chapter 111: Saiyan

Zeke said, "It will. Once you understand how a weapon is made and master it yourself, it should help you figure out how you can move forward. It’ll also increase your understanding of the new Trait that you gained."

Cass asked, "What about your Trait?"

Zeke said, "I already have a plan for that. It was easy to come up with as well."

Dean had a bad feeling as he asked, "What plan?"

Zeke replied, "I’m basically a Saiyan on steroids. The description literally said that what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger. I just need to survive under extreme conditions and theoretically, I should develop an immunity to it, or something like that.

The best example would be antibodies. It seems that the System took the malleable part of our Neo-Human DNA and the Myriad Toxins Immune Body that I had in Murim, fused them, and elevated their abilities by an ungodly amount. So all I have to do is torture myself with various elements, and I should get an immunity or at least a very high resistance."

Cass said, "So, what, you’re gonna take a dip in the sun’s core like Superman?"

Dean and Leonel had weird expressions on their faces. Zeke had one as well, but for different reasons altogether.

He said, "It seems that my intelligence hasn’t rubbed off on you as much as I had hoped it would."

Cass asked, "What do you mean?"

Zeke replied, "Both of us should be able to do that once we reach S Grade. Hopefully."

This time, Dean asked, "Wait, really?"

Zeke nodded and said, "Of course. One of our affinities is Solar Light. Our Body Vessels are literally being forged in it. So it is quite obvious that after a certain point, we will be able to go to the Sun safely. It’ll even help us grow stronger."

Cass said, "Holy shit."

Zeke said, "Holy shit indeed. Anyways, I should get to work."

He opened a portal to Aurevion and was about to enter it when he stopped. He said, "I almost forgot. Since you plan on learning blacksmithing, this should help you."

He grabbed the air beside his temple and moved it back as if he was pulling something. Weirdly enough, a ball of light exited his temple. He changed something, and runes appeared around the ball, trapping it. There were nine layers of runes. He then threw the ball at Cass. It hit his head and entered seamlessly.

Cass asked, "What was that?"

Zeke said, "Consider it a birthday gift. I’ll see you in three months. And, you should sit down for this. You can thank me later."

Before Cass could say anything, Zeke had already disappeared. Then it hit him. A piercing pain. He groaned, and Dean and Leonel moved towards him. They wanted to ask what was wrong, but clearly, Cass was in no position to answer. After a few seconds, he passed out.

Dean was worried, but Leonel calmed him down and said, "It’s probably fine. No matter what happens, Zeke would never harm Cass."

Dean nodded after hearing this. He had to agree that there were no limits the boy wasn’t willing to cross for his family. The two of them waited for Cass to wake up. They didn’t have to wait long, as he woke up in a few minutes. As he stood up, he grabbed his head. Clearly, he still had a headache. Dean gave him a glass of water. Cass drank the water and sat down on the floor.

Leonel asked, "What happened?"

Cass said, "Zeke gave me an inheritance."

Dean asked, "Inheritance? Whose?

Cass replied, "His own. That ball of light was a compilation of his memories of blacksmithing. All the way from F Grade to the SSS Grade."

Dean and Leonel were silent. They had forgotten that the other Zeke had dipped his toes in every field, not just chemistry and alchemy. A complete inheritance from someone of that caliber was incredibly rare.

Cass continued, "He even sealed them according to Grade. I can only unlock each layer after mastering the previous one."

Leonel said, "That’s... considerate of him."

Cass smiled weirdly as he continued, "That’s not all. He even named it."

Both Leonel and Dean had a premonition that it was going to be something incredibly petty. And they were right.

Cass said, "He named it ’A Dumbass’s Guide to Becoming an SSS Grade Blacksmith.’"

Dean sighed and said, "I wouldn’t expect anything else from him. Well, you’re gonna need a furnace if you want to begin blacksmithing. And forging hammers."

Cass said, "Oh, that’s alright. I’ll just take the ores to Aurevion. I’m sure Zeke can whip something up for me."

Dean paused for a second before saying, "That place is such a cheat."

Leonel snarked from the side, "Their whole existence is one big cheat." frёeωebɳovel.com

Cass wanted to deny it, but on second thought, Leonel wasn’t exactly wrong. So he just shrugged his shoulders. Then he went to the babies. While he was playing with them, he ordered a large number of F Grade ores for him to practice with.

Sure, Zeke could create them, but he didn’t want to disturb him too much. Besides, he had a lot of money and nowhere to use it. And once he became familiar with an ore, he could just create it himself.

The ores arrived the next day. He told Katherine and Alexi his and Zeke’s plans for the next three months so that they wouldn’t worry and entered Aurevion. Zeke had already created an entire forging room for him on the celestial planet.

While Cass got busy with blacksmithing, Zeke also began working towards his goal: perfecting the Magic Circle power system. Of course, he knew that it would be a long-term project that would take years to complete.

So, he started with a small goal instead—the first circle. He already had a foundation with the research that he had done in Murim, so it wouldn’t take him long. Time began passing, and soon three months had passed.
