Chapter 893: Chapter 893: From The Horse’s Mouth

Leonine Heaven.

"Your Majesty, I’m not sure I’ll be able to do it," Said the eight-legged horse floating standing in an empty void in the vast expanse of the sky.

This horse with eight legs was none other than the Primordial Horse of Transportation.

Currently, the very gallant and mighty demeanor he once had was gone, replaced by a look of utter fear.

He couldn’t believe his ears when he heard the demand of the All-King.

Arranged and floating in front of him was a sea of heavenly beacons stretching as far as the eye could see.

Each of them, ownerless and glowing with the ethereal light of the heavens.

There had to be at least three million Heavenly Beacons here.

More than enough to storm and completely take over any heavenly realm with the current updated strength of the Lion Hegemony.

The Primordial Horse looked at all of them with fear, trying to believe that he would have to consume all these heavenly beacons.

Yes...

Consume.

"If you can’t do it, I’ll find someone else who will..." The voice of the All-King was low and soft, but carried a very deep tone as it caressed the neck hair of the Primordial Horse.

The Primordial Horse turned his head back and saw that a massive golden lion was standing behind him.

Three meters tall, a simple coat of golden fur, a dark golden mane, and a pair of jewels like crystal dark gold irises.

The Primordial Lion looked... calm.

But he also looked like he was about to pounce on someone. The way his eyes were opened wide, he didn’t blink, not once.

It was so predatory. He didn’t look nonchalant, he appeared as a silent killer that had not yet decided to touch his prey.

Those scary yet beautiful wide open eyes of his were staring at the Primordial Horse, waiting for him to do what needed to be done.

"Your Majesty, consuming all this might kill me," The Primordial Horse defended as he faced the All-King.

"I don’t think you will," Another voice was heard. It was the voice of Phestus. Phestus was beside Kael, also in his lion form.

"You think?" The Primordial Horse’s eyes narrowed at Phestus. He was willing to be calm when talking with the All-King but would not take this audacity of Phestus to ask him to walk into a situation of near certain death.

Phestus narrowed his eyes but didn’t say anything; he didn’t care about the life of this particular Primordial Horse, knowing what Kael could do.

Sure, it may take longer and it had been found that Kael actually lost a lot just to create those two Primordials, it was still possible.

No matter what it had cost, Kael had still done it.

The stronger Kael became, the more many were beginning to ask if he even needed them at all.

"You will survive," Kael said, breaking the tension between the two. Phestus might be a Supreme Level Immortal but asking the Primordial Horse, or anyone for that matter, to do such a thing, was bound to be met with resistance.

"I will make sure of it," Kael added.

"Your Majesty, what if I don’t?" The Primordial Horse begged, bringing down his voice. freewёbnoνel.com

Kael narrowed his eyes, "Then you will have your non-existent self to blame.

I said you will survive.

The only reason why you wouldn’t is if you are weak and cannot keep up on your side.

Start consuming, I’m not repeating myself," Kael stated.

There was a weird phenomenon that occurred whenever Kael opened his mouth to talk. It was a strange phenomenon.

All went quiet whenever he talked. The chirping, the clicking, the winds, the distant background chaos of reality. It all stopped whenever Kael wanted to talk.

It was as though the Golden Lion was constantly creating a localised area around him where all laws and all entities had to pause for him to move and speak.

The All-King had made a declaration and he waited. Barely two seconds had passed since the All-King stopped talking but the Primordial Horse was starting to feel as though he was wasting the former’s time.

He sighed, with a look of absolute dread on his face.

Then, he opened his horse’s mouth and moved to the nearest heavenly beacon.

Behind him, Phestus looked at the All-King, trying to gauge the inner thoughts of this king.

Phestus has seen the two system alerts just now. The alerts that indicated the deaths of the Primordial Badger and Primordial Bat.

And if he had seen it, everyone else, including the Primordial Horse had seen it too.

But the Primordial Horse was too busy worrying about himself.

The All-King did not react at all. He was still focused on what the Primordial Horse was doing.

Phestus knew that some things could just not be called a coincidence.

For the Primordial Badger to attempt to create a universe within the Alphaverse, the All-King would have detected that intent at least a month ago.

Yet, he had still allowed it to happen.

To Phestus, this was either a very dangerous game or an insanely well-calculated scheme.

The Primordial Badger did not succeed in creating the little universe. He couldn’t have succeeded.

Or he could.

In the Main Universe, Kael had to be at least a Low-Level Immortal before he could succeed in doing such a thing.

But that was the Main Universe which was a fully fledged cosmic domain. The Alphaverse was still young and very much incomplete with most of its rules being manually enforced by the lions.

The barrier to entry for creating a universe inside the Alphaverse was much lower, meaning that a mortal may have succeeded if he tried hard enough and used the proper technique.

It was different for everybody and every law.

The Primordial Badger actually had a chance of succeeding. fгeewebnovёl.com

Unfortunately, his opponent was Kael.

Phestus still remembered the image that was sent to him before he got here to attend to the All-King.

It was a live moving image that showed the Primordial Badger floating in the dark void of the New Mortalverse, laughing loudly with his tongue and fangs exposed.

The Primordial Badger with his fiery orange eyes floated in front of the massive Forbidden Star.

Compared to the Forbidden Star, the Primordial Badger had been infinitesimal and puny.

But the ego of that Badger was immense. He saw the Forbidden Star for what it was, an expression of authority by the All-King.

And challenging authority was what the Primordial Badger got high on. One of the sources of his powers had been to challenge others stronger than him or those with higher status.

The Forbidden Star was the tool he would have used to create his own universe. He would have borrowed from the sheer power of creation though All-King had left lying around.

In that same image, as the Primordial Badger was getting ready to absorb the nuclear energy and stellar flares from the star, Ozia had come out of nowhere and landed a devastating punch to the abdomen of the traitor.

That was the beginning of the battle. It was there and then they discovered that the Primordial Bat was in on it. She was meant to guard the Primordial Badger while he did what he was supposed to do.

The Vassal forces of the Bats and the Badgers appeared in their fleets of arkships and newly commissioned arkworlds.

To Phestus, it was a shame that those arkworlds which were newly made were used for such treasonous acts.

As it was seen by the alerts, those traitors did not make it.

Throughout, the only time Kael seemed to have done something was when he told Ozia to be on the lookout for whatever the Primordial Badger was doing.

That was all.

What had the All-King gained from allowing the Badger to do what he did? What could he have possibly learned?

While all those things were happening, the All-King was busy directing the Primordial Horse on the next stage of his evolution.

*CRUNCH!*

The Primordial Horse took a massive bite and had one of the heavenly beacons in its mouth.

Clenching his jaws, the heavenly beacons did not break or crack. They were made from fragmented reality, of course, it would be hard if not impossible to break them with his current strength.

But the Primordial horse did not need to break them, he just needed to consume their concept.

The Law of Transportation was as powerful as it was straightforward. Getting things from one point to another.

Anything that could move someone or something from one place to another was a means of transportation.

These Heavenly Beacons were also means of Transportation since they allowed creatures to cross the gap between heavenly realms.

There was a concept hidden in there, the Primordial Horse just had to absorb it.

And he did. His eyes bulged, his eighth legs shook and trembled horribly as Transportation Essence was sucked out of the Heavenly Beacon and into his power pool.

Soon, the Heavenly Beacon in his horse’s mouth lost its glow and began to fade away from existence.

"A few million more to go," The All-King said casually at this point. It was meant to sound like motivation but it ended up coming out like a tyrannical suggestion.

Ruthless glints of light flashed through Kael’s calm gaze as he oversaw the next step of his grand plan.
