Chapter 6: Sasha Valencia
Sora opened the door to a gasp.
"Holy shit. Sora Lockheart. No wonder Brie was so secretive. I can’t wait to taste your blood," she said as she waltzed right into the mansion.
’Well, that’s not weird,’ he thought while shaking his head.
"Alright, have at it, no way I’d turn down being in a party with our King’s best friend, let alone my best friends," she said nonchalantly.
"System, please initiate a seal with Sasha Valencia with the same conditions as Brie Reinhardt."
[Certainly. Seal initiated.]
"I agree," Sasha said as she blew a bubble with her bubblegum.
"Well, that was easy. Where’s Brie?" she continued.
"She should be here soon," she told her parents she’s moving out," Sora said.
"About time she got out of those assholes’ lives. By the way, could you be a dear and grab my luggage and where should I park my car?"
As Sora grabbed Sasha’s ten to fifteen bags of luggage, he walked in and asked her, "which room would you like?"
"Up here Mr. Muscles," she said with a playful grin.
’Of course, she would choose the one on the fifth floor.’ Sora sighed.
After dropping her luggage off in her room, Sora showed her where to park her car. Luckily, around this time, Brie came cruising in with the window rolled down screaming, "Hey Sasha! Glad you made it! Glad to be back, Sora! Just wait until you hear how pissed off my parents are."
After Sasha’s car parked itself at the end of the garage, the three of them walked into Sora’s main living area.
"My parents were PISSED." Brie laughed.
"Like, how pissed? Scale of 1-10?" Sasha asked with a laugh.
"20? Especially after they told me no, and I told them I was moving in with a boy! Can you imagine the look on their faces?" Brie laughed harder.
Sasha blurted out in laughter and said, "No you didn’t."
"Am I really just a boy to you?" Sora asked sadly.
"Of course not, but to my parents, all men are boys. I should have said with a hunk my age, that would have pissed them off even more!" Brie continued to laugh.
"Bet that felt good to get off your chest, didn’t it?" Sasha asked.
"They’ve been treating me like shit ever since I turned down school! I’m sick of being treated like I’m 5! I’m rank S! Like there aren’t many Rank S adventurers out there, especially under the age of 20!" Brie bragged.
"Good for you girl, although my parents are super clingy. I got turned at the age of 18, but that was what, like almost 80 years ago?" Sasha laughed.
"Well, I’m happy for Brie, and I’m glad you and Sasha are here." Sora said.
"On a more serious note, I do have something to ask. Since we’re in a party now and share a seal, I think it’d be best if we laid out all of our skills with each other, so we know our strengths and weaknesses. For example, I have all SSS rank abilities and skills and an infinite magic pool. I can die like anyone else. I can transfer obtained skills, like Brie’s new Banshee skill, treasure and items to anyone in my party. I can perform sealing magic, teleportation magic and even have some skills and abilities I don’t know about yet," Sora explained, as best he could, without giving the system away.
"I don’t rank up, I level up, which is weird because I know your main goals are to rank up as adventurers. I’m not sure if that’s just something that comes with the SSS rank, but I can use any type of elemental ability, have every weapon you can think of, including hand to hand combat mastered, I can passively regenerate health and I haven’t figured out my eye ability yet."
"Well, that’s just badass. You make it so easy to not sound completely useless compared to you," Brie laughed.
"Yeah, it’s really easy for us to just mention our lameass abilities now, isn’t it?" Sasha returned Brie’s laugh.
"No, no, I didn’t mean it like..."
"So gullible, I told you Sasha, it’s like he’s lived under a rock!" Brie giggled.
"I can inspect and analyze, just like you Sora. I’m also accomplished in ice, healing and water magic. I even have a unique skill: Control. This allows me to control a vampire’s temperament, which helps me aid Sasha if she’s ever craving human blood or lost too much human blood," Brie explained.
"Your dimensional space will come in handy because we can carry blood bags for her so this will never be an issue. Oh, and of course that amazing banshee ability you gave me!"
"So, vampire skills and abilities are a lot different from human abilities, so I won’t get into mine too much, but basically I can weaponize any type of living being’s blood. I can expand or retract any part or parts of my body and have some other vampire-based skills, like charm, hypnotize, and mind-read, depending on how strong or weak the type of person is," Sasha quickly explained.
"Awesome, thanks, that helps me understand. I want to go on a dungeon run tonight and I want it to be S tier. Are you ladies up for that?"
They both grinned, widely. freēwebnovel.com
"Yes, which one? We could check the job board?" Brie suggested.
"No need, I have already considered the options, and I think this one, known as "Hell’s Gate," which is approximately 20 miles from here, is our best option," Sora stated confidently.
"Oh, I heard there’s a huge reward at the end of that one!" Sasha exclaimed.
"Yes, but that’s one of those dungeons you can’t leave once you enter. Aren’t you worried about that at all, Sora?" Brie asked with a concerned face.
"Of course not! We can stack up plenty of potions, food, whatever Sasha needs in my dimensional space and I’m sure there’s nothing we can’t handle," Sora exclaimed.
The party laughed and Sasha couldn’t wait for what was to come next–tasting Sora’s blood for the first time!
