Chapter 108: The Reckoning Part 9: Fate?

"So you knew about us the whole time?" Sora finally relaxed and laughed. "I really am pretty darn naive."

"Don’t worry babe. We both missed it. We should have known when he said he was an Uthra. Remember when we met Levi and I explained to you only Uthra can read the divine text? Well, I’m guessing as gods, we can too!"

Denis clapped. "Yes! You can. So let’s get back to your finances."

"What is currently in my account? You said my Father set one up for me."

"Ah, yes! Apologies. Your current account and investments are worth a combined 100 billion. Your parents always ensured your financial safety."

"100 billion dollars?!" Brie and Sora exclaimed.

"Correct! So what would you like to do with the funds brought?" Denis said with a smirk.

"I brought 1,000 ultravites." Sora said while using his dimensional void to pull out a large suitcase.

"I’d like to add Brie and Xander to my accounts, all of them. Please create an additional account for Brie and another account for the Savior party."

"Got it. Anything else?"

"Yes! Please use 200 ultravites to create a diverse portfolio for Xander like my father did for me."

"Absolutely, give me a moment," Denis said while slamming his fingers quickly across his keyboard and swinging his mouse rapidly.

’All these years and they’re just using more advanced computers,’ Sora thought with a grin. fɾeewebnoveℓ.co๓

"I’ll be right back!" Denis said as he strolled out of his office whistling.

"Sora, Athena is your aunt! This is crazy! What is going on right now?" Brie giggled while she hugged Sora tightly.

"I think it’s time we broaden our scope and prepare for whatever Azazel is bringing to Exteria. Once we end that mess, we help Athena protect Paradise." Sora said confidently.

Denis walked in pushing a cart and smiling, still whistling.

"Ok, here is one for each of you. It’s everything I’ve invested in month over month and year over in your stock portfolio." Denis said as he handed them both blue binders.

"Thank you!"

"Now Sora, per your fathers request, I will transfer these to you." Denis said as he handed Sora an all black, thick case. "I took the liberty of removing my thumb print. Once you activate it, only you will be able to open it."

Sora pressed his thumb gently on a small, strange corner button and it popped open. Sora began flipping through the documents and realized they were written in an unknown language. However, he understood it.

"Denis, how can I understand this when I’ve never seen the language?"

"Ask your beautiful wife what she sees," Denis said with a large grin.

"Sora! These are ancient Uthra texts from the founding families on Exteria! Look, the Steele family really has been there since the beginning!" Brie excitedly explained as she flipped through page after page.

"That’s not all I have!" Denis said as he grabbed a tablet and handed it to Sora. "This is an encrypted tablet you can use anywhere in this Universe. It has all your financial information from every planet, the percentages I’ve taken as payment and also allows you to make calls to any number, on any planet, from any location."

"What have you been taking? Please double it. You are an amazing person." Sora exclaimed.

"I only take 1% but if you insist, I will gladly take 2%! Thank you." Denis said while shaking Sora’s hand. "Now then, before you go, I have one more surprise for you."

Brie and Sora exchanged smiles as Xander woke up. Xander teleported to his mom and waved to Denis.

"Sowwy I was tie-tie."

Denis grabbed a large brown suitcase with two keyholes. He reached in his golden blazer pocket and pulled out two large, ancient keys.

"Here you two. You have all the paperwork and keys to each of your homes across the universe. You have mansions here, Eerth, Meruta, and Ariza. They all come equipped with the same high end security you enjoy on Exteria." Denis said with an enthusiastic smile.

"Sora! Look at this one on Meruta! It’s on the water and it looks so nice! They all do! Thank you so much Denis!"

"The pleasure is mine. Please save Exteria. You have a beautiful family and Sora, you remind me of your Dad! You should stay a night or two before you return home."

Xander ran up to Denis and gave him a hug. Denis smiled and said, "you’re going to grow up quick little buddy. Make sure you keep using your powers for good, just like your mama and dadda!"

"Otay I will! Hey Mr. Dingy. Your animawls pwetty and I know you good guy."

Sora and Brie enjoyed watching Xander grow. Sora loaded up everything, including Xander’s crib into his dimensional space before saying goodbye.

"Thank you so much for everything Mr. Dingsdale. We learned more than we ever imagined. Did you know we’d come?" Sora asked "Are you a prophet?"

"I was hopeful you would someday come but I am not a Prophet. I wish your parents explained more to you, but I’m glad my hunch about your visit came to fruition. Just be careful. Enjoy the time on other planets when you can. Get home and train with your party. Rest assured, your money is in great hands!"

Brie gave Denis a hug and Sora picked up Xander. They waved as the elevator started to close.

"Oh, Sora! One last thing. I will send you the passcode over the encrypted tablet if you ever ask to meet!"

"Sounds good, see ya bud!" Sora said as they disappeared behind the elevator doors.

While walking out of the bank, Sora asked his family, "Do you want to try and find somewhere in the city or stay in the ship?"

"Sit-tea! Sit-tea pueweaze!" Xander said excitedly.

Brie gave Sora a nod and they took a cab to a local 5 star hotel.

"Well at least this is something we have on Exteria. I swear, all the money in the Universe couldn’t buy two days with my beautiful family! I love you both very much." Sora said as he kissed his wife in the back seat of the cab. It finally came to a stop and Sora held the door open for the two while slipping the driver a nice tip.

They walked into the hotel and Brie quickly returned with good news. They were thankful Sora’s dimensional void could lug anything and everything around.

"I can’t wait to get into something comfortable! What are we going to do anyway?" Brie said as she grabbed her keycard from her purse.

"Well, we booked one night, so let’s make the most of it. I can’t believe how much money we still have locked in the mansion and split between the party," Sora laughed as he picked Xander up.

He grabbed three food capsules from his dimensional void and handed two to Brie with a bottle of water. Everyone took one and felt much better.

They found their room on the first floor, and as they approached their door, a familiar voice caught their attention.

"Well if it isn’t the King and Queen of Exteria! What are the odds!"
