Chapter 1195: Chapter 1195: Another Downpour

Thinking thus, Jiang Xue let Little Fox watch her son, while she herself went downstairs to make noodles. In a short while, she placed a bowl of noodles in front of Little Fox.

Little Fox looked at it, delighted, and said to Jiang Xue, "Woman, thanks!"

After speaking, it began to eat heartily without minding the heat. Within moments, the big bowl of noodles was finished, leaving Little Fox feeling unsatisfied and wanting more.

To its surprise, Jiang Xue glanced at it and said, "There’s no more."

Little Fox had no choice but to leave reluctantly and went to play with Little Reunion. By the time Jiang Xue tidied up and came out, the two were already playing together.

Seeing them having fun made Jiang Xue want to join in, so she sat down and played with them for a while before leaving the space to stay in the hotel room.

The next day, while checking out, Jiang Xue asked the front desk how to get to the disaster area. Upon hearing Jiang Xue was headed there, the attendant immediately said, "You’d better not go now. Heavy rain this morning might cause landslides, and the roads might be impassable."

"I have a very important matter; I must go to the disaster area. Can you tell me how to take a bus there?" Jiang Xue pleaded earnestly with the attendant.

The attendant wanted to persuade Jiang Xue further but, seeing her determination, simply showed her the way to the bus station.

Jiang Xue thanked them, left the hotel, and headed directly to the station. Upon arrival, she tried to buy a ticket to the disaster area only to find none available.

The ticket salesperson advised Jiang Xue, saying, "Miss, it’s too dangerous to go there now; you’d better not go."

"But my family is there; I must go." Jiang Xue looked worried, wondering what to do if there was no bus to take her.

"Sigh, it really isn’t safe now; it’s pouring rain over there; accidents are likely on the road."

After confirming that the bus was not an option, Jiang Xue left the station and searched for other transport outside. Regardless of the situation, she was determined to reach the disaster area.

It was now pouring rain, which certainly made it dangerous, and she was worried about Mu Qiancheng, wanting to go see him and perhaps lend a hand.

In any case, Jiang Xue felt her medical skills were good enough to possibly help treat some patients.

Outside the station, Jiang Xue walked several laps, asking many vehicles, all of which refused to go. Just as she was dejectedly about to return to the hotel, she overheard someone mentioning a vehicle headed to the disaster area.

Hearing this brought joy to Jiang Xue’s heart, and she immediately ran toward the source of the voice. Upon reaching, she urgently asked, "Sir, is there really a vehicle going to the disaster area?"

"Why would a young girl like you ask about this?" The person glanced at Jiang Xue, waved dismissively, and said, "Go, go, go home instead."

"Sir, please tell me, won’t you?" Jiang Xue stood stubbornly in front of him and pleaded, "My husband is in the disaster area; I need to find him."

"Your husband? How old are you?" The person was visibly stunned, examining Jiang Xue. Although she had grown a bit taller recently, she still looked like a school student.

Thus, the person remained doubtful, saying, "Young miss, don’t deceive me. Honestly, the disaster area is very dangerous; you should go home."

"Sir, please, I beg you. My husband is a soldier, actively engaged in disaster relief. I need to find him and offer help. Would you be kind enough to tell me?"
